Hours before a bombshell report revealed that he took steroids, Yankee superstar Alex Rodriguez wasn't sweating - he was snuggling, squeezing and otherwise savoring two smoking-hot women in a Bahamas nightclub.
These exclusive photos show Rodriguez partying - seemingly without a care in the world - at the Aura Club at the Atlantis Resort early last Saturday.
And, boy does that buxom brunette on his lap look comfy.
Less than two days before, in Miami, Sports Illustrated reporter Selena Roberts had confronted A-Rod at a gym, and asked the slugger about his having tested positive for two forms of steroids in 2003 while playing with the Texas Rangers.
But instead of hunkering down at his Miami home to await SI breaking the bad news, Rodriguez jetted to the Bahamas, where he stayed on Paradise Island on Friday.
He showed up the Aura Club with the aforementioned brunette and - just to balance things out - a red-hot blonde.
"The girls said they had come down with A-Rod from the US," said an eyewitness. "They were dancing in front of him and even kissing each other to entertain him. He seemed to like the brunette more."
