Oh, the Horror! CIA Staged Mock Executions of Terrorists

I guess I'm supposed to be shocked or outraged by this? Well, I'm not. In fact, seems to be like some of this stuff falls short of what you might see in a gang initiation.
The CIA used mock executions in a bid to scare suspected terrorists into talking to interrogators after Sept. 11, it was reported on Friday.

One detainee, suspected USS Cole bomber Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, also was threatened with a gun and a power drill, according to Newsweek.

The revelations come from a long-suppressed report by the CIA's inspector general to be released next week.

Sources said a draft of the report says Nashiri's interrogators brandished a gun and told him he would be shot.

The drill was turned on and held near him, said one source, adding, "The purpose was to scare him into giving information up."
Oh my, turning on a drill.

What has become of us?

Whatever the case, it seems to me ACLU attorneys revealing the faces of CIA operatives to terrorists is far worse.

No doubt the wee-weeing libs in DC will be wetting the bed over this report, but will they have the same indignation over stories like this? I doubt it.
