Proof: The American Worker is Getting Nickle and Dimed
There is a study out today from UCLA that looks at how employers are cutting corners when it comes to paying their low income employees.Wait until ABC figures out their employees no longer know how to spell nickel.
68% of the workers surveyed were cheated out of pay during the previous week.
The researchers found that the average worker was nickle and dimed out of $51 dollars a week. Employers weren't always paying their workers for all the overtime they worked. And some employees were talking their staff out of putting in for workers compensation after injuries.
