Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand will make a joint appearance at a forum next month with controversial lawyer Van Jones, who left the Obama administration last year amid outrage over his past remarks about 9/11.According to the Washington Post, Jones will be speaking about the Obama jobs agenda. Funny, but I thought the White House gave him the boot?
The Agenda Project is sponsoring the event at the Harvard Club in Midtown, and is expected to focus on jobs as the talking point.
Late last year, Jones stepped down from his post as a White House environmental adviser amid revelations about his efforts to suggest that the government had a role in the Sept. 11 attacks.
