Shawn Christy, 19, was arrested in Palin's home state of Alaska after Palin won a six-month restraining order against him in October. The order required that Christy stay a mile away from Palin's home and from a Wasilla-area high school. In an interview with the Associated Press in September, Palin's attorney, Thomas Van Flien, said Christy had "risen to the top of the dozens and dozens of people" who have threatened Palin since she was tapped as the Republican vice presidential nominee in 2008.
