'I Thought He Overexposed Himself Weeks Ago'

Weeks ago? I though Barack Obama overexposed himself about two years ago.

The honeymoon is over, a national poll will signal today as President Obama’s job approval stumbles to about 50 percent over the lack of improvement with the crippled economy.

The sobering numbers come as the president backpedals from two prime-time gaffes - one comparing his bowling score to a Special Olympian and another awkwardly laughing about the economy, which prompted Steve Kroft of “60 Minutes” to ask “are you punch-drunk?”

Pollster John Zogby said his poll out today will show Americans split on the president’s performance. He said the score factors out to “about 50-50.”

Some polls show Obama coasting with a 65 percent job approval, but not in Zogby’s tally.

“The numbers are going down,” Zogby told the Herald. “It’s not because of the gaffes, but a combination of high expectations and that things aren’t moving fast enough with the economy.”

As for the president’s love of the limelight, it could backfire, according to a media watcher.

“I thought he overexposed himself weeks ago,” said Tobe Berkovitz, associate dean of Boston University’s College of Communication.

For good measure, Mr. Overexposed will be holding a primetime news conference tonight, interrupting your favorite programming. His TelePrompter will be busy prepping all day.

Maybe after a week spent attacking AIG, which comes after weeks of attacking Rush Limbaugh, he'll select a new target to obsess over tonight.

Does Al Gore Care His Employees Are Held Hostage in North Korea?

Is it just me or is it just a bit unseemly that Al Gore has had no comment over the fact two of his employees are being held hostage in North Korea and are reportedly undergoing intense interrogation? This story was first reported about five days ago and I've yet to see a single news account where he's commented. Does anyone even know where he is?

Two American journalists detained at North Korea's border with China are under investigation by North Korean military intelligence officers who suspect they were engaged in espionage activities, a report said Tuesday.

North Korea has said its border guards arrested two Americans on March 17 for "illegally intruding" after they entered the country from China. The two have been identified as Laura Ling and Euna Lee, reporters for former Vice President Al Gore's San Francisco-based media outlet Current TV.

South Korea's mass-circulation JoongAng Ilbo newspaper said Tuesday that the American women had crossed the border from China while reporting on North Korean refugees.

They were taken to Pyongyang a day after their arrest, and were being held at a guest house run by the military intelligence agency on the outskirts of the capital, the newspaper said, citing an unnamed South Korean intelligence officer.

North Korean investigators were checking the journalists' cameras, video tapes and notebooks to try to establish if they had been spying on the North's military facilities, the report said.

North Korea "will not treat the female journalists harshly, although they will undergo intense interrogation," the paper quoted another unnamed South Korean intelligence officer as saying.

South Korea's main spy agency, the National Intelligence Service, said Tuesday that South Korean and U.S. intelligence authorities had been keeping a close watch on the case, but that it could not immediately confirm the JoongAng Ilbo report.

Seoul's Unification Ministry, which handles relations with the North, also said it could not confirm the report.

A U.S. official said Saturday that the U.S. has been in touch with North Korean representatives about the journalists and was awaiting a reply. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity citing the sensitivity of the issue, said the U.S. did not know where the North was holding them.

It's entirely possible there are some back channel negotiations going on that the media isn't privy to, but has anyone even reached Gore for comment?

Searching around this morning, the most recent item I see mentioning his name is yet another tedious profile in the Boston Globe claiming he's been proven right on mythical global warming.

Frankly, the intervening years have been good to him in other ways. Science generally has borne out his early concerns over global warming. His dogged quest for environmental awareness led to his best-selling book "An Inconvenient Truth," as well as an Academy Award-winning documentary of the same name, and, topping it all, the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.

Maybe this author from the Boston Globe ought to step outside. On the fifth day of spring it's currently 27 degrees with a wind chill of 16 degrees.

Name That Party! NY State Senator Hit With Felony Assault Charges

You would figure somewhere in this 11-paragraph story they'd find room to identify the party he belongs to. Apparently for CBS2 the fact he's a Democrat isn't relevant.

New York state Sen. Hiram Monserrate was indicted Monday morning on a felony assault charge in Queens after allegedly attacking his girlfriend during an argument, CBS 2 has confirmed.

Monserrate, a former New York City councilman who was sworn into office as Senator in January despite the looming charge, will be arraigned later this week.

Monserrate was charged with assault and weapon possession after Karla Giraldo's face was slashed on Dec. 19 at his Queens home. Both Monserrate and Giraldo say the incident was an accident -- Monserrate told police that he tripped while holding a glass of water and that the glass accidentally hit her. The Queens district attorney's office said the case is pending.

But authorities say evidence, including surveillance videos, paints a more violent picture of a heated argument and a frightened, bleeding woman in distress. Investigators say Monserrate purposely smashed her face with broken glass in an apparent jealous rage.

The videos come from several cameras in the apartment building. The first shows the two arguing and Monserrate throwing a policeman's union card down a garbage chute, according to a law enforcement official, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

ABC7 doesn't find his part affiliation newsworthy either. To their credit, the New York Times identifies his party.

As the NY Post notes, Democrats thought so little of this brutal assault they rewarded this monster with a chairmanship.

Meanwhile, Monserrate was sworn in to office in January, part of an influx of new lawmakers who helped Democrats gain control of the Senate for the first time in four decades. He was also appointed chairman of the Consumer Protection Committee. Some lawmakers (read: Republicans) and women's groups criticized the decision to seat the freshman Democrat, saying he should not be sworn in until the criminal case was resolved.

Gov. Paterson's job performance ratings have crashed thorough the floor, with less than one in five New Yorkers saying he's doing well, a new poll shows.

Just 19% of those polled gave him a positive rating, while 78% turned thumbs down, the Siena College poll found. That's down from 51% positive and 45% negative in the same poll just two months ago.

How bad have things gone for a governor?

New York's first black governor trails Attorney General Andrew Cuomo 55-22% among black voters in a potential 2010 primary.

Overall, he would lose to Cuomo 67% to 17%, the poll found. In late January, Paterson held a small lead over Cuomo.

"The speed of his falling numbers is staggering," Siena Poll spokesman Steven Greenberg said.

Two months ago, voters viewed Paterson favorably by a 54% to 34% margin. The latest poll has him at 29% favorable and 58% unfavorable.

A whopping 67% of voters say they'd prefer someone else for governor next year, compared to just 14% who say they would vote to elect Paterson to a full four-year term.

The poll found black voters would prefer someone else to Paterson by a 52%-25% margin.

Obama's TelePrompter: Feigned Outrage Is Not a Governing Strategy

I guess that manufactured "anger" and "outrage" isn't quite working as planned.

President Barack Obama says he cannot "govern out of anger" just because of public outrage over bonuses paid at financial institutions kept afloat by taxpayer dollars.

Doubletalk and hypocrisy apparently is a governing strategy.

Heh: Dodd's Wife Worked for AIG Subsidiary

When I suggested the other day that the socialist bus tour take a ride past Chris Dodd's house, I had no idea his wife once was a director for one of their subsidiaries.

Dodd may want to seriously consider retirement.

No wonder Senator Christopher Dodd (D-Conn) went wobbly last week when asked about his February amendment ratifying hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses to executives at insurance giant AIG. Dodd has been one of the company's favorite recipients of campaign contributions. But it turns out that Senator Dodd's wife has also benefited from past connections to AIG as well. From 2001-2004, Jackie Clegg Dodd served as an "outside" director of IPC Holdings, Ltd., a Bermuda-based company controlled by AIG. IPC, which provides property casualty catastrophe insurance coverage, was formed in 1993 and currently has a market cap of $1.4 billion and trades on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol IPCR. In 2001, in addition to a public offering of 15 million shares of stock that raised $380 million, IPC raised more than $109 million through a simultaneous private placement sale of 5.6 million shares of stock to AIG - giving AIG a 20% stake in IPC. (AIG sold its 13.397 million shares in IPC in August 2006.)

Clegg was compensated for her duties to the company, which was managed by a subsidiary of AIG. In 2003, according to a proxy statement, Clegg received $12,000 per year and an additional $1,000 for each Directors' and committee meeting she attended. Clegg served on the Audit and Investment committees during her final year on the board.

IPC paid millions each year to other AIG-related companies for administrative and other services. Clegg was a diligent director. In 2003, the proxy statement report, she attended more than 75% of board and committee meetings. This while she served as the managing partner of Clegg International Consultants, LLC, which she created in 2001, the year she joined the board of IPC. 'When You Put This Little Crook Around Someone's Neck, Their Whole Attitude Changes Real Fast'

I figure a shotgun blast would always work best, but if a cane is all you have handy, you may as well know how to use it the right way.

Pay no mind to the groans that come with stretching, to hair that is gray or gone altogether. Ignore the cautiousness of their steps and the canes in their hands.

These seniors are ready to fight.

A rainbow of martial arts belts dangles above the mirror along one wall of this small dojo; swords, nunchuks and sickles hang near the front. Punching bags and torso targets line the room, but they'll need none of these. Their weapons are their canes.

At the helm of the class is one of the country's most recognized cane fighters, Mark Shuey, a slight man who, at 62, has hair and skin starting to show signs of age. He has traveled from Lake Tahoe, Nev., to teach this group of 16 how to protect themselves from attackers.

He calls it Cane-Fu.

Cane fighting classes have popped up all over the country, in part due to the influence of Cane Masters, the company Shuey founded that sells wood canes made of harder, thicker wood, to sustain wear and wider crooks to fit around an attacker's neck. Now, it's being offered at dojos and increasingly in senior centers and retirement communities.

"You don't have to be powerful, you don't have to be fast," said Gary Hernandez, who runs the dojo here northeast of Tampa where the session was held and where he teaches cane fighting classes himself. "It's a piece of hard wood. It hurts."
The session starts simply enough, with seniors gathered on the red and black mat twisting this way and that, stretching with their simple wooden canes over their heads and behind their backs. They combine long rubber tension bands with their canes to do bicep curls, leg presses and chest rows — exercises aimed at keeping the seniors fit.

Fitness alone won't ward off those who might hurt them, though, and Shuey talks briefly of recent attacks on elders. His hazel eyes look severe as he points to the cane and delivers his message.

"When you put this little crook around someone's neck, their whole attitude changes real fast," he said.

And in a moment, Shuey shows it. With another instructor, Merle McAlpin, playing the bad guy, Shuey hooks the cane around his neck and thrusts it. The result is a guttural groan of pain from McAlpin.

When it's time for the students to try a bit later, Shuey shouts: "Be gentle!"

In the two-hour session, participants are taught a sampling of moves to use in different situations. The cane can simply be swung in circles, used to grab a foot or neck, and fashioned into a bat or poker. Advanced techniques even show a senior how to use a cane to ward off someone with a gun or knife.

It takes years to master cane fighting like Hernandez or Shuey, but they say they can teach a senior several crucial moves in an hour. Perhaps more importantly, though, it gives them confidence that can help them escape a dangerous situation.

One Upside to a Bad Economy

Hmm. Maybe this is something I should look into. Of course I'm not a hot babe so my prospects may be limited.

As a bartender and trainer at a national restaurant chain, Rebecca Brown earned a couple thousand dollars in a really good week. Now, as a dancer at Chicago's Pink Monkey gentleman's club, she makes almost that much in one good night.

The tough job market is prompting a growing number of women across the country to dance in strip clubs, appear in adult movies or pose for adult magazines like Hustler.

Employers across the adult entertainment industry say they're seeing an influx of applications from women who, like Brown, are attracted by the promise of flexible schedules and fast cash. Many have college degrees and held white-collar jobs until the economy soured.

"You're seeing a lot more beautiful women who are eligible to do so many other things," said Gus Poulos, general manager of New York City's Sin City gentleman's club. He said he got 85 responses in just one day to a recent job posting on Craigslist.

The transition to the nightclub scene isn't always a smooth one — from learning to dance in 5-inch heels to dealing with the jeers of some customers.

Some performers said they were initially so nervous that only alcohol could calm their nerves.

"It is like giving a speech, but instead of imagining everyone naked, you're the one who's naked," Brown, 29, said.

Eva Stone, a 25-year-old dancer at the Pink Monkey, said dealing with occasional verbal abuse from patrons requires "a thick skin."

Makers of adult films cautioned that women shouldn't rush into the decision to make adult movies without considering the effect on their lives.

"Once you decide to be an adult actress, it impacts your relationship with everyone," said Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of adult film giant Vivid Entertainment Group. "Once you make an adult film, it never goes away."

Great News: Paterson's Secret Tax on 'The Rich'

Naturally when there are no more "rich people" left to tax, the rest of the schlubs in New York will be picking up the tab. For a guy whose poll numbers are in the toilet, it's as if he has a secret ambition to be booted from office as soon as possible.

GOV. PATERSON and legislative Democrats have secretly agreed on an $8 billion, two-year tax hike on individuals making more than $500,000 a year that will "sunset" around the time he plans to run for election in 2010, legislative sources told The Post.

Also under intense discussion yesterday as lawmakers rushed to complete a budget by April 1 is a proposal to raise the state's 4 percent sales tax to 4.5 percent the total of which would jump to close to 10 percent in parts of the state with the addition of local sales taxes.

Of course you don't have to be rich to pay the sales tax. Everyone is fortunate enough to share in that.

The sales-tax hike, too, would sunset at the end of next year or in early 2011, legislative Democrats said.

While Paterson has repeatedly claimed he was against a "millionaires' tax" on the very wealthy and hasn't backed a sales-tax hike, the sources said he was privately backing both.

The current top tax rate is 6.85 percent for all incomes over $25,000 a year. Sources could not say yesterday what the rate would rise to for incomes over $500,000.
"Paterson has told everyone he really wants the taxes, but he wants it to appear to the public that he's against them," a senior legislative official said.

"European speech of the year"

Obama to make "European speech of the year" in Prague

Barack Obama doesn’t arrive in Prague until April 4th, but an “advance team” of advisors are already here to scout out locations for what the Czech prime minister Mirek Topolánek says will be Mr Obama’s “European speech of the year.” Quite what he’ll say in it remains to be seen, with fresh questions raised this week over the future of the planned U.S. missile defence shield in the Czech Republic and Poland.

Early April in Prague is notoriously fickle; some years it’s freezing and grey, others it’s spring in full bloom, with blazing sunshine and clear blue skies. Those involved in Mr Obama’s trip must be hoping for the latter, as the U.S. president could be making his keynote speech – being tipped as his “European speech of the year” – in the open air. An advance team of advisors is already checking out possible locations, with Prague Castle, the Old Town Square and the embankment in front of the Rudolfinum concert hall all apparently in play.

Just what he’ll say is hard to guess. But certainly he’ll be under pressure to say something about plans to build a radar base on Czech soil as part of the missile defence shield, an agreement that was signed with the previous Bush administration. Mr Obama seems less keen on missile defence and – unlike Mr Bush – is certainly in no hurry to start deploying it in earnest.

A progressive defend America and her allies? Such mishegas.

There were fresh worries this week for Mr Topolánek’s centre-right government after it emerged in the Russian and American media that Mr Obama had sent a secret letter to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev, reportedly offering to abandon missile defence in exchange for help in stopping Iran’s nuclear ambitions. The White House has not commented publicly on the claims, but if confirmed, they would be a major political embarrassment for Mr Topolánek. He’s spent a good deal of political capital on the radar base, which still lacks approval in the lower house of parliament.

For now, though, the focus of the Czech media is on Mr Obama’s itinerary. It seems he will arrive in Prague on the evening of Saturday April 4th, to be welcomed by President Václav Klaus. Sunday he’ll apparently have breakfast with former President Václav Havel, before meeting leaders of the EU’s 27 member countries, and making his promised speech.

President Obama is due to be accompanied by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as well as his wife Michelle, something that could cause headaches for the prime minister’s protocol team. Mr Topolánek is separated from his wife and lives with his girlfriend, fellow Civic Democrat MP Lucie Talmanová. For the photo calls either he will appear alone alongside Barack and Michelle Obama, or with Ms Talmanová. The protocol team must decide which – in the absence of a married partner - is the lesser evil.

Kroft to Obama: 'Are You Punch-Drunk?'

I don't have the stomach to watch this blithering idiot on 60 Minutes, but this is sure to make news.

President Barack Obama said he believes the global financial system remains at risk of implosion with the failure of Citigroup or AIG, touching off “an even more destructive recession and potentially depression.”

His remarks came in a “60 Minutes” interview in which he was pressed by an incredulous Steve Kroft for laughing and chuckling several times while discussing the perilous state of the world’s economy.

“You're sitting here. And you're— you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, ‘I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about money—’ How do you deal with— I mean: explain. . .” Kroft asks at one point.

“Are you punch-drunk?” Kroft says.

“No, no. There's gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day,” Obama says, with a laugh.

A regular comedian, this guy. He's watching our economy swirl the drain and he's laughing!

Just A Little 'Ol Rally in Atlanta

Okay, granted I am only posting this over here because I didn't want the boss to think he was the only one busy this weekend. Besides I got pictures and sound.



Saturday there was a rally in support of state sovereignty and HR 470 in Georgia which affirms the states rights granted under the 10th Amendment of the US Constitution. I was glad I attended.
The weather was great for a change. Most weekends here locally have been marked by the badly needed rain but this day was bright, sunny, with just a few wisps of clouds on the sky and just enough nip in the air to get you honest.
This rally was sponsored by the Georgia First coalition and the GA chapter of the Don't Go Movement. I broadcast the first hour of the rally live on my Blog Talk Radio show, podcast is available here.


Among the hardy folks in attendance were Bobby Franklin, the sponsor of HR 470 in the Georgia state legislature, Ray McBerry, declared gubernatorial candidate on the Republican ticket, Sherrie Reese, Georgia State Director of the Don't Go Movement, Jennie C from Smart Girl Politics, and Ricardo Davis, State Chairman of the Constitution Party.

The attitude among the attendees was invigorated and excited. Americans of all stripes are getting fed up with our federal congress and government are running rough shod not only over states rights but individual liberties as well. In addition to the folks in attendance signs of support were given by those driving by who were honking horns and shouting words of encouragement.
Gubernatorial candidate Ray McBerry fired up the crowd with his speech vowing to return to a state government that takes care of it residents with as little interference from the federal government as possible and a return to the American values that made us the greatest country on earth.
More then a few people were aware of the Missouri state police report that had a completely bizarre list of what compromised a possible threat or militia group as evidenced by folks with signs displaying the "Don't Tread On Me" flag and at least one Ron Paul t-shirt.
I look forward to the Tea Party scheduled on April 15th. I heard from people from as far away as Augusta, thanks to the young man who made that trip, who are trying to organize such events in their area. I heard from people who working on Tea Parties in Gainesville, GA, and Macon as well as Atlanta.
I urge everybody to get out and attend some of these rallies in their area in support of anything, or even opposition to anything your elected officials are proposing. We the people have got to take our country back.
At the end of the rally we had copies of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, thanks to the Heritage Foundation, to hand out.
All in all it was a great day.

Silenced

So I had the occasion to attend the St. Patrick's parade in Pearl River, NY this afternoon, which is held annually the Sunday after St. Patrick's Day. It's one of the larger parades held in the area and thousands were on hand. Leading off the parade was Bronx Congressman Eliot Engel, who few recognized, although I did a shout out to Eliot and asked him how things were at his house in Maryland. He did not look pleased.

But the highlight of the afternoon, or lowlight depending on your perspective, was seeing the odious Chuckie Schumer come schlepping along, desperately seeking attention. Curiously enough he was being greeted mostly by indifference. As luck would have it, someone nearby mentioned AIG, and that's all Chuckie needed to begin hamming it up.

"Did you see me on TV, did you see me? I told them if you don't give back those bonuses we're going to tax 100 percent of it. One-hundred percent!"

Never one to miss an opportunity to sandbag an unctuous pol, especially when he's standing three feet away, preening for all, I said, quite loudly, "When are you going to return 100% of the money you took from Bernie Madoff?"

The blood drained from his face as he fell silent, possibly for the first time in his life. A moment of pure hilarity that I wish I had on camera to share. Finding myself among kindred spirits, a fellow to my right then chimed in with "Hey, how about telling Chris Dodd to give back the money he got from AIG!"

Talk about silence being golden. He quickly then moved on along the parade route, no doubt cursing my existence.

A moment I shall always treasure.

Biden Adviser on Confiscatory AIG Tax: 'That May Be a Dangerous Way To Go'

Am I hearing this correctly? A Democrat arguing against a 100% tax rate?

Vice President Joe Biden's economic adviser warned Sunday that a congressional plan to tax American International Group Inc. executives' bonuses may go too far in using the tax code as a tool for retribution.

President Barack Obama has not said whether he would veto some version of a House-backed plan to heavily tax the $165 million in bonuses. Biden economist Jared Bernstein said it's important to look at what version of the proposal comes out of the Senate.

"I think the president would be concerned that this bill may have some problems in going too far — the House bill may go too far in terms of some — some legal issues, constitutional validity, using the tax code to surgically punish a small group," Bernstein said in a television interview. "That may be a dangerous way to go."

Legal issues? Constitutional validity?

When did that ever stop these people before?

Spanish 'Man' To Give Birth to Twins

I hate to quibble over minor details, but if it's giving birth it's not a man.

Just saying.

A Spanish man is set to become the first in the world to give birth to twins.

Transexual Ruben Noe Coronado, 25, is due to become a dad at the end of September.

Ruben, born a woman called Stephanie, will bring the boys up with partner Esperanza Ruiz, 43.

The pair plan to marry before they become parents.

Bearded American Thomas Beattie made headlines round the world after giving birth to daughter Susan Juliette last June.

The 35-year-old, born Tracy Lagondino, is expecting a second child with wife Nancy this summer.

Like Beattie, Ruben is officially a man but retained his female reproductive organs.

When doctors told girlfriend Esperanza, already a mother of two, that she could not have any more children, she and Ruben decided he should try to become pregnant with donor sperm after undergoing fertility treatment.

He plans to give birth at a hospital in Barcelona, where the couple recently moved from Malaga due to family problems.

Once he becomes a dad he will continue sex change surgery interrupted to enable him to fall pregnant and give birth.

Spicoli's Sympathy for the Ayatollahs

It's either Senn Penn is sypathetic with the mad mullahs or he didn't want to be associated with another ghastly box-office bomb. I'd say it's the former as he has no shortage of movies that don't make any money, critical acclaim notwithstanding.

DID Sean Penn's sympathy for Iran's ayatollahs help cripple the box-office prospects of a recent Harvey Weinstein movie?

Sources say Penn, who traveled to Iran in 2005 and sent wordy dispatches to the San Francisco Chronicle, demanded to be removed from "Crossing Over" because he objected to an "honor killing" scene of an Iranian woman slain by her brother.

The Weinstein Company flick on the immigration issue, budgeted at $20 million, is a multi-plotted drama, like "Traffic" and "Crash," starring Harrison Ford and Ashley Judd. Although Penn shot scenes playing an enforcement agent, sources told Page Six he insisted he be cut from the movie, which has grossed a paltry $292,254 since its release three weeks ago. The Post's Lou Lumenick panned its stereotypical characters who "spout tin-eared dialogue."

The Manhattan madam linked to former Gov. Eliot Spitzer claims she had a "connection" and "flirtation" with scandal-scarred Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez.

Kristin Davis, who says she met the third-baseman at a Philadelphia gym in 2005, told the Post that: "our paths have crossed both personally and professionally," and that "there was a flirtation there."

"I'm not going to deny there was a relationship there," said the 32-year-old blond bombshell, who ran high-class call girl service Wicked Models.

"Let's just say there's some sort of connection there."

Davis, who is on probation for five years after copping a plea to promoting prostitution, said she hasn't seen Rodriguez, in a year or two.

When asked if the Yankee patronized her escort agency, Davis, who said she likes Latin men, would only say that they had a "professional" relationship.

President Barack Obama says the U.S. hasn't done a good job sorting out who should be released from the Guantanamo Bay detention center.

Obama says in a broadcast interview that some of the people released from the facility in Cuba have rejoined terrorist groups. He also says U.S. officials have not always been effective in determining which prisoners will be a danger once they are let go.

But he says the Bush administration's policy of holding detainees for years on end with no trials is "unsustainable,' and has only fueled anti-American sentiments.

Uh, who was it agitating for the release of these monsters and fueling anti-American sentiment? Oh yes, that's right, it was Democrats and their cohorts from the ACLU, among a number of leftwing groups. For years the left whipped up anti-Bush hysteria so when these terrorists are released and return to battle it's now Bush's fault? Whose first order of business as president was it to order the closing of Club Gitmo?

The same guy now complaining.
