Sean Penn Manages to Crap On The Troops Again

I stumbled across an awards show last night on Spike TV called the Guys Choice Awards, which is an awards show to not only honor all things guys but the US military as well. I was pleasantly surprised when I tuned in to see the crowd made up of mostly service members with the celebrities sprinkled about, and then this happened.

Sean Penn Leads A Ridgemont High Reunion
Tags: Sean Penn Leads A Ridgemont High Reunion

There is no way in hell Sean Penn should have even been in the same room as all of the service members and the fact that he walked out of there with no visible bruises speaks volume to the level of discipline exhibited by those in attendance. I guess all that training involving having to hold your fire after a terrorist who was just shooting at you runs out of ammo and now becomes merely an innocent bystander came in handy.

I am not sure I could have shown such restraint.

The appearance of Penn ruined the night for me, which up until that time for the most part had been pleasant. Kudos to Ben Affleck, who after winning his award gave effusive praise to the troops, just like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson had done after receiving his award for the Most Kick Ass Guy. After suffering through the Penn and Ridgemont High segment I switched channels. Talk about kicking somebody in the 'nads. Here they were honoring a guy who pals around with Ahmadinejad and Chavez, and at least one of them has actively participated in murdering our soldiers, in the same room as those he despises.

Sean Penn Shows His Patriotic Side

Did I say patriotic? Sorry. It's Sean Penn we're talking about, after all.
They say Washington, DC, is "Hollywood for ugly people," but the Beltway got a major infusion of good looks Saturday night at the annual White House Correspondents Association dinner. Staid Washingtonians also got a dose of Hollywood-style drama.

Sean Penn caused a stir right off the bat when he wouldn't follow everyone else in putting his hand over his heart as the room stood and sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Hilton International Ballroom. The surly star then spent dinner all over new flame Scarlett Johansson. "She plopped down in his lap, and they were kissing," described a shocked witness. The two left the room for "an hour," sources said, and Penn came back to the table with his tie askew.
I'll chalk up Johansson's stupidity to being young and naive. Let's just hope she's got the common sense to flee the first time he punches her in the face.

Hugo Chavez Fantasy: Sean Penn, Oliver Stone or Noam Chomsky as US Ambassador

If none of the above crackpots make the cut, he'll settle for Bill Clinton.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez sought to end a diplomatic stand-off with the United States on Tuesday by suggesting it name Bill Clinton, actor Sean Penn or director Oliver Stone as its envoy to Caracas.

In the latest flare-up between the ideological foes, Washington withdrew the visa of Venezuela's ambassador last week in retaliation for Chavez's rejection of President Barack Obama's nominated ambassador to Caracas.

U.S. diplomat Larry Palmer had criticized Venezuela's government, saying morale in its military was low and there were clear ties between members of the Chavez administration and leftist rebels in neighboring Colombia.

In a televised speech late on Tuesday, Venezuela's firebrand president said he had come up with a solution.

"I hope they name Oliver Stone. I'll suggest a candidate ... Sean Penn, or (linguist and philosopher Noam) Chomsky. We have a lot of friends there. Bill Clinton!" Chavez said.

Stone visited Caracas in May for the local premiere of his documentary "South of the Border," which profiles Latin America's leftist leaders. He told reporters he admired Chavez and his record since coming to power in 1999.

Penn, who has been involved in humanitarian efforts following Haiti's earthquake, won best actor Oscars for his roles in the Clint Eastwood-directed drama "Mystic River" and as slain gay activist Harvey Milk in the movie "Milk."

Chavez also recounted how he met U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton briefly on the sidelines of Dilma Rousseff's inauguration ceremony on Saturday in Brazil.

"I said to Senora Clinton 'How is your husband?'" he said. "But I made a mistake because I speak very bad English, and I said 'How is your wife?' She laughed, then I said husband."
What a card that Hugo is, slipping in a little lesbian humor. No word if Huma Abedin was present.

Spicoli Taking His Divorce Harder Than Expected

Wait until his good buddy Hugo Chavez sees him in drag. Theirs may no longer be a platonic relationship.

Spicoli Sentenced to Anger Management

That's about the worst of it for this piece of garbage after beating up on a photographer. Being one of the beautiful people he doesn't even have to show up in court, pleads no contest, and gets 300 hours community service waived because he's in Haiti or something.

Our only hope? Maybe TMZ or some such celebrity stalkers can plant someone in his anger management class and get him to snap.
Sean Penn pleaded no contest to vandalism on Wednesday, effectively ending a case in which the Oscar-winning actor was videotaped kicking a celebrity photographer.

Penn was not present in court and entered the plea through his attorney. He was sentenced to three years of informal probation and ordered to perform 300 hours of community service, said city attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan.

Mateljan says those hours can be completed through Penn's earthquake-relief efforts in Haiti.

He was also ordered to undergo 36 hours of anger management counseling.

Penn was charged in February with misdemeanor battery and vandalism for the October dustup.

"Prolonging this matter in the court system would not have been in Mr. Penn's best interests and would have distracted from his charitable commitments, specifically his work in Haiti," Penn's attorney Richard Hirsch said. "Accordingly he has decided to accept the terms and move on."
Yeah, it would probably prevent him from his charitable work, like hanging out with that scum-sucking dictator Hugo Chavez.

Tea Partier Issues Death Threat: 'The Next Time I See You, You Will Be In a Box'

These tea partiers really need to control themselves. This wave of violent threats is really getting out of hand. Oh wait, it wasn't a tea partier? It was a Hollywood liberal and pal of dictator Hugo Chavez?
Actor Sean Penn threatened to kill a paparazzo if he ever ran into him again, according to a new lawsuit filed by the photographer, entertainment website TMZ reported Monday.

In a suit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Jordan Dawes claims Penn assaulted him by “kicking and punching” him as he filmed a documentary about paparazzi in October 2009.

Dawes says Penn broke his camera and said, “The next time I see you, you will be in a box."
These angry liberals really need to control themselves.

God is a 'Bolivarian'

Whatever happened to the separation of church and dictatorship?
President Hugo Chavez is confident that God and nature will pull Venezuela out of a power crisis battering both the economy and his popularity.

Rationing and blackouts have afflicted the South American oil exporter since late 2009, due mainly to a drought that has cut water levels at hydroelectric installations normally supplying more than two-thirds of power needs.

The crisis may cause a second year of economic contraction in Venezuela and is also weighing on Chavez's approval ratings ahead of a legislative election in September that he and opponents are casting as a referendum on his rule.

"The squalid ones are hoping it won't rain," Chavez said late on Tuesday, using his usual term for the opposition.

"But it's going to rain, you'll see, because God is a 'Bolivarian.' God cannot be squalid. Nature is with us," the socialist leader added during an event with athletes.
Pretty desperate for the Communist thug to be praying to God now, isn't it?

I just hope Spicoli doesn't read this or he might want to imprison me. Speaking of Spicoli, is it just me or does he sound an awful lot like his whiny traitor character Daulton Lee from The Falcon and the Snowman here?

Whatever the pathetic Chavez wants to use as an excuse, the lack of electricity isn't his only concern.
President Chavez, who until recently avoided talking about violence and rampant crime, went as far as to admit that the situation “has become a risk for the Bolivarian revolution”.

“Chavez has the idea that the revolution must break structures and continues to believe that violence is part of the class struggle, the conflict of the poor against the rich. But what we have in Venezuela is the poor killing the poor” said Roberto Briceño-León, head of the ONG Venezuelan Violence Observatory.
According to the ONG in the last three years, 91% of murders have gone unpunished.

Sean Penn Hopes His Critics 'Die Screaming of Rectal Cancer'

Keep it classy, Spicoli. Angry Hollywood liberal Sean Penn and good friend of Communist dictator Hugo Chavez lashes out at critics and wishes death upon them. How special.
Sean Penn, who has been helping relief workers in Haiti, has harsh words for the folks who think his do-gooding is an attempt to distract the world from his high profile divorce from actress Robin Wright Penn.

In an interview to air on CBS' "Sunday Morning" this weekend, Penn told journalist Lara Logan that he has been so busy in Haiti he hasn't had much time for his critics -- but he did offer a few choice words to his foes.

"Do I hope that those people die screaming of rectal cancer? Yeah," he later told Logan. "But I'm not going to spend a lot of energy on it."
Why do I get the feeling these comments will be on the cutting room floor come Sunday?

Tyrannical Government Seeks to Imprison Famed Dissenter

Aww, poor Spicoli.
Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn was charged Friday with battery and vandalism for allegedly attacking a photographer and breaking his camera outside Brentwood Country Mart in October, officials said.

Penn faces up to 18 months in jail if convicted of the misdemeanor charges of battery and vandalism stemming from the Oct. 2 run-in with a photographer.

The charges were filed by the L.A. city attorney's office. The incident was captured on video and broadcast on TMZ, the celebrity website.

"We are alleging he kicked a photographer and and we are also accusing him of breaking the photographer's camera," said Frank Mateljan, a city attorney spokesman.

Penn will be arraigned March 22 in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Penn pal Hugo Chavez was unavailable for comment.

Flying Pig Moment: Sean Penn Praises U.S. Military

I wonder if he'd feel the same way if the evil Cheney/Bush regime were still in office? Whatever the case, the actor manages to say some kind words about our military, which may well be grounds for dismissal from the Film Actors Guild.

One question: Does his buddy Hugo Chavez know he's there after that nuke test we conducted?

Actually, one more question: What's the deal with that hat?

High Level U.S. Diplomat Meets With Chavez

He's promising the Venezuelan madman he'll soon be meeting with Barack Obama, so I'm assuming he's now the de facto Secretary of State while Hillary Clinton is off negotiating the return of the Honduran thug to power.
Sean Penn, the Hollywood star who wants to be a journalist, has now become an amateur diplomat by visiting America's noisiest enemies in the Southern Hemisphere and promising to relay their messages back to Washington.

After Penn's visit with Hugo Chavez in Caracas on Wednesday, the Venezuelan strongman said he had discussed politics with Penn, who told him he would soon see President Obama.

"Chavez said he'd asked Penn to tell Obama he should take action to earn his Nobel Peace Prize, and should scrap a plan for the US military to increase its presence at bases in Colombia," the Associated Press reported on their session.

"They gave him the Nobel Prize -- very well, now he should earn it," admonished the socialist Chavez, paraphrasing his friend, documentary filmmaker Michael Moore.

Penn had come from Cuba, where he reportedly tried to meet with his other hero, Fidel Castro, 83, who hasn't given an interview to a Western journalist since he was felled by intestinal illness three years ago.

The Oscar winner's publicist, Mara Buxbaum, didn't know about Penn's visits with either Castro or Obama. State Department spokesman Noel Clay told Page Six, "Sean Penn is a private person. He's entitled to his views and opinions. He doesn't speak for the US government."
The two were later spotted canoodling over a candle-lit dinner at a Caracas hotspot. They were using candles, of course, since the Marxist dreamstate is running out of electricity.

I notice Penn is wearing a Venceremos t-shirt. Nothing like proudly announcing you're a Communist.

Castro's Sister Worked for CIA

Well, there's at least one sane member of the Castro family.
THE younger sister of Fidel and Raul Castro, Juanita Castro, collaborated with the US Central Intelligence Agency against her brothers' rule in Cuba before going into exile in Miami in 1964, she said today.

Juanita Castro, 76, who has not spoken to either of her brothers for more than four decades, made the revelation to the Spanish-language TV channel Univision-Noticias 23 on the eve of the publication of her memoirs about Fidel and Raul Castro.

The book in Spanish entitled Fidel and Raul, My Brothers, the Secret History, co-written with Mexican journalist Maria Antonieta Collins, is being published tomorrow.

After initially supporting Fidel Castro's 1959 Revolution that toppled dictator Fulgencio Batista in Cuba, Juanita Castro said she became disillusioned by the way her elder brother was executing opponents and moving the island toward communism.

"I began to become disenchanted when I saw so much injustice," she said in an interview with Collins broadcast by Univision-Noticias 23.

Juanita Castro said that from her house in Havana, she had worked to shelter and help those who were being persecuted by Fidel Castro's Government. "My situation in Cuba became delicate because of my activity against the regime," she said.

She told Collins said that one day a person close to both her and Fidel Castro brought her an invitation from the CIA asking her to collaborate with the US spy agency.

"They wanted to talk to me because they had interesting things to tell me, and interesting things to ask me, such as if I was willing to take the risk, if I was ready to listen to them - I was rather shocked, but anyway I said yes," Juanita Castro told Collins.
Maybe the folks at the Kennedy Center can give her a Profiles in Courage Award. Yes, I know in recent years those are for people who show the courage to raise taxes, but it would be a nod to JFK, a Democrat who actually disliked Communists.

Speaking of the Communist murderer, look who's going to interview the monster.
Oscar-winning actor and political activist Sean Penn flew to Cuba hoping to interview its revolutionary icon Fidel Castro, entertainment news website TMZ reported Sunday.

"Sean (Penn) is going to the land of Fidel as a journalist, writing a story for Vanity Fair (magazine) about how the (Barack) Obama administration has affected Cuba," TMZ reported.

Penn was traveling with Diana Jenkins: "Actually ... it's her plane ... she's married to the head honcho at Barclays bank," TMZ added, noting the pair set out from Las Vegas on Saturday.

"Barclays sources say Sean and Diana are going to meet (Fidel) Castro -- presumably because that's what Diana told them," the website reported. Penn's representative also told TMZ a meeting was possible.
Via Gateway Pundit.

Castro's sister had the decency to see the evil. Idiotic American actors don't have a problem with the mass murderer, however.

Luckiest Gal in the World

Just imagine being married to this insufferable lout for 13 years. I hope she is handsomely rewarded for all her pain and suffering.
THE misery is over for Robin Wright, the long-suffering wife of Sean Penn. The two-time Oscar-winner is divorcing the mother of his two children, Dylan and Hopper Jack. "Extra" reports he filed for legal separation last Friday. This comes as no surprise to Petra Nemcova, Helena Christensen, Ines Misan, Naomi Campbell and Natalie Portman, who all befriended Penn during his 13-year marriage to Wright.

Incredibly Annoying Actor to Play Incredibly Annoying Media Whore

Somehow this slipped by me last month, but when you think about it, it's perfect casting.
The Daily Beast site has an alleged scoop today that the long-in-the-works movie based on Valerie Plame's memoir is ready to go into production, with Naomi Watts as the former CIA operative and Sean Penn now signed to play her husband.
Good grief. You can pretty much give him the Oscar now and be done with the drame.

Anyway, I noticed it here, as the director was trying to rope Ann Coulter into a role in the film.
ANN Coulter is too smart to be lured into a movie where she'd be made to look foolish. The leggy conservative has turned down an offer from director Doug Liman to appear in "Fair Game," his left-leaning film about the Valerie Plame affair starring Naomi Watts as the CIA agent whose cover was blown by columnist Robert Novak. Sean Penn, who plays Plame's underemployed husband Joseph Wilson, was pushing to have Coulter in a scene where she'd be screaming invectives at him.

The Three Stooges Ride Again

Talk about typecasting. The powers that be in Hollyweird are making a full length movie about the Three Stooges and have cast Sean Penn, Jim Carrey, and Benicio Del Toro as the slapstick comedy trio. Most people may know Sean and Jim but Benicio is not a household name. He was last seen in an over long, boring yet award winning film from the entertainment self congratulation community depicting Che Guevara.
Penn will play Larry Fine, del Toro the leader Moe Howard, and Carrey is in negotiations to star as Curly Howard, who was known for his hitch-pitched voice and his “nyuk nyuk nyuk” catchphrase.
Might this be the straw that breaks the camel's back? I mean c'mon you are messing with one of the few American icons that has not been subjected to revision.

Spicoli's Sympathy for the Ayatollahs

It's either Senn Penn is sypathetic with the mad mullahs or he didn't want to be associated with another ghastly box-office bomb. I'd say it's the former as he has no shortage of movies that don't make any money, critical acclaim notwithstanding.
DID Sean Penn's sympathy for Iran's ayatollahs help cripple the box-office prospects of a recent Harvey Weinstein movie?

Sources say Penn, who traveled to Iran in 2005 and sent wordy dispatches to the San Francisco Chronicle, demanded to be removed from "Crossing Over" because he objected to an "honor killing" scene of an Iranian woman slain by her brother.

The Weinstein Company flick on the immigration issue, budgeted at $20 million, is a multi-plotted drama, like "Traffic" and "Crash," starring Harrison Ford and Ashley Judd. Although Penn shot scenes playing an enforcement agent, sources told Page Six he insisted he be cut from the movie, which has grossed a paltry $292,254 since its release three weeks ago. The Post's Lou Lumenick panned its stereotypical characters who "spout tin-eared dialogue."

Penn's rep told us: "Sean's portion of the film was somewhat experimental as it had a mystical quality that the rest of the film did not have. His not being in the final edit was a creative decision of which he was aware."
Mystical quality? He thinks highly of himself.

Ironic that a guy who won an Oscar for playing a gay character is silent about Iran's treatment of gays.

'You Commie, Homo-Loving, Sons of Guns'

Sean Penn knows his audience.

Just imagine if Clint Eastwood won an award and said the same thing.
Sean Penn took home the Oscar for best actor on Sunday for his portrayal of slain San Francisco gay rights activist Harvey Milk in the movie "Milk" and used his win to defend the right of same-sex couples to wed.

Penn, 48, picked up the second Oscar of his career, the first being his 2004 win for his lead role as a grieving father in "Mystic River."

"You commie, homo-loving, sons of guns," the sharp-tongued Penn told the audience as he collected his award. "I did not expect this and...I know how hard I make it to appreciate me."

The straight actor's portrayal of an openly gay politician was a timely one -- with "Milk" coming out shortly after California's same-sex couples lost their right to marry in a voter referendum.

"I think it is a good time for those who voted for the ban against gay marriage to sit and reflect and anticipate their great shame and the shame in their grandchildren's eyes if they continue that way," Penn said.

Spicoli: I'm Not a Stooge For Dictators

Stooge

Poor Sean Penn. After it was noted the other day he laments being portrayed as a mouthpiece for communist dictators, he takes umbrage with being labeled a stooge.
JUST because Sean Penn likes to visit Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez and then writes nice things about them, doesn't mean he's "a stooge for left-wing dictatorships," as we called him on Sunday, his publicist, Mara Buxbaum, says. "Sean does not endorse dictators. Like him or not, Hugo Chavez is a democratically elected official." So was Hitler. "Sean is a champion of civil rights," Buxbaum says. Yet Penn defends the Castro regime, which has jailed and executed gays. Although Chavez has closed newspapers and TV stations, Penn said, "Chavez may not be a good man. But he may well be a great one." Buxbaum says, "You . . . may not always agree with Sean, who aggressively questions and challenges the status quo in ways that aren't always polite . . .
Maybe he could challenge Fidel Castro by asking the corpse why he murdered so many people over the past five decades. Or perhaps ask the great Chavez why he teargasses opponents.

We'll wait breathlessly for those answers.

Spicoli Realizing Useful Idiocy Has a Price

Poor Sean Penn. It's finally occurred to him that sucking up to dictators and thugs might be affecting his career. Sure, the guy's a pretty good actor, but his films aren't making any money, he's a constant source of ridicule and even left-leaning groups want nothing to do with him. Now he's in damage control mode.
SEAN Penn is getting worried that his cozying up to Marxist dictators might cost him an Academy Award. We reported last month how Penn was smacked by the gay Advocate magazine over his visits to Fidel and Raul Castro, whose regime murdered and imprisoned gays. Last week, Penn called José Miguel Vivanco, head of Human Rights Watch's Latin America division, and asked for a meeting. Vivanco flew to San Francisco to dine with the star Thursday and brief him on the situation in Cuba and Venezuela. Vivanco was thrown out of the latter country by Penn pal President Hugo Chavez. "Tom Cruise let Scientology make him a household name for weirdness. Sean is entering into similar territory as a p.r. stooge for left-wing dictatorships," said a Hollywood insider.
Maybe journalist Sean Penn can do an exclusive interview with actor Sean Penn and reveal his inner torment.

Sean Penn Gets a Gay Bashing

Couldn't happen to a bigger hypocrite.
NOT all gays are gaga over Sean Penn's portrayal of homosexual martyr Harvey Milk in Gus Van Sant's biopic "Milk."

In an Advocate.com article, writer James Kirchick slams Penn for his political leanings, arguing that any adulation he receives from the gay community should be tempered because of his affection for Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chávez and Cuban strongman Raul Castro.

Chávez and Castro are guilty of flagrant human-rights abuses, Kirchick writes: "Gay rights are human rights, as Milk said, and Penn discredits both when he rationalizes illiberal ideologies as 'anti-imperialist' and rushes to the defense of thugs who posture as victims of the West."

Penn has long been a supporter of the dictator duo. In this month's issue of The Nation, he lavishly praises both Chávez and Castro after paying them a recent visit. He asserts, for example, "It's true, Chávez may not be a good man. But he may well be a great one."

Kirchick's story includes a quote from Human Rights Foundation President Thor Halvorssen, who says: "That Sean Penn would be honored by anyone, let alone the gay community, for having stood by a dictator who put gays into concentration camps is mind-boggling."
Still, the mindless Hollywood nitwits always look the other way, so look for Penn to receive a stream of accolades and awards for his latest role.
