Stop the Hate! More Violence Between Clinton and Obama Supporters

Last week we noted this item on a Clinton supporter shanking his brother-in-law Obama supporter.

Well, now it appears this was not an isolated incident.

Apparently the desire for change and hope is leading some to violent means. Just imagine how out of control these people will get if we have a brokered convention.

The condition of the man struck in the head with a baseball bat during a political argument has improved. The victim was hospitalized after being struck in the head with a baseball bat during an argument in Alexander County, North Carolina. The attack reportedly occurred during a dispute over politics last Tuesday night (February 26) while the Hillary Clinton / Barack Obama debate was on television. This story, broken Monday by WHKY, has gained national attention, numerous news organizations have added it to their websites. According to the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office 40 year old Gregory Lynn Carter of Taylorsville is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. The victim was an acquaintance of the suspect. According to the Sheriff’s Offfice, after striking the 25 year old victim, the suspect drove him to Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC. While at the hospital Carter reportedly told police what happened, at which time he was arrested and charged.

We can only hope these two deeply religious and spiritual candidates can reach reach out to their violent supporters and ask them to please stop the hate!
