So a majority of people think Obama will win in November and this is news?

The poll numbers show a statistical dead heat, but because more people think Obama will win, that's the headline.

At this point in 2000, a majority thought Al Gore was going to win. In 2004, they thought John Kerry would win.

Last January an overwhelming majority of Americans thought the New England Patriots were going to win the Super Bowl.
