Staten Island Mutants Hit With Election Night 'Hate Crimes'

I detest the term hate crimes, hence the quotes around it. Still, if we're stuck with such laws, this is a pretty damn good example.

Check out these punks from Staten Island and the nonsense that went on during election night. The appear too young and stupid to have any ideoligical grounds for what they did. Allegedly. Simply put, they just sound like racist assholes.
Three Staten Island teen-agers who federal authorities believe are responsible for a string of Election Night assaults were brought out from the FBI's Manhattan offices on Federal Plaza this morning and taken to Brooklyn Federal Court, where they will be slapped with hate crime charges.

The teens -- which include Ralph Nicoletti, 18, of Wadsworth Avenue in Fort Wadsworth, Bryan Garaventa, 18, of the 100 block of Maryland Avenue in Rosebank, Michael Contreras, who goes by the nickname "Dominican Mike" and Brian Carranza, 21 [a 21-year old is a teenager? -- ed.] -- are responsible for a half dozen racially-charged incidents on Election Night, sources allege. Nicoletti, Contreras and Carranza are expected to be arraigned on charges of violating the voting acts right today. Charges against Garaventa have not yet been announced.

The most serious of those incidents include bludgeoning a 17-year-old black youth in Stapleton while yelling "Obama!" and running over a 38-year-old Port Richmond man because they mistakenly thought he was black, those sources said.

The teens refer to themselves as the "Rosebank Krew," one law enforcement said last night.
It's drooling submorons like this that just give the media to regurgitate their "wave of hates" crimes meme.

If they had a problem with minorities, they're going to really enjoy tossing salad in prison.

Idiots.
