Spitzer Worked His Way Through 'Stable of Hookers'

Paging Mrs. Spitzer. Looks like your man didn't limit himself to the one hooker he was busted with. We may have to put Eliot's public rehab on indefinite hold.
Ex-Gov. Eliot Spitzer may deny it, but he regularly hooked up with high-priced harlots in a slew of cities for nearly two years, according to the woman who arranged the illegal sex romps.

Spitzer was working his way through the stable of more than a dozen hookers with the Emperors Club before getting caught and resigning in disgrace, the woman said through her lawyer.

"There was a regularity to [Spitzer's hooker habit]," said Marc Agnifilo, who represents Temeka Lewis. She received a year's probation yesterday after detailing the former governor's antics for the feds.

"It was more than sporadic," Agnifilo said. "It wasn't always more than once a month, but it was sometimes more than once a month."

In April, Spitzer was asked in an interview with NBC's "Today" show how often he paid for sex.

"Not frequently -- not long in the grand context of my life," the married father of three said. Spitzer became known as the infamous "Client 9" when his patronage of the hooker ring broke last year.

The then-governor had romped with prostitutes in New York, Washington, DC, and other cities, Agnifilo said.
Eliot, please go away.
