Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall is being dropped as an endorser by corporate sponsor Champion over his controversial tweets objecting to the celebration over the death of Osama bin Laden at the hands of U.S. commandos Sunday. This jerk might want to consider wising up pretty quickly or he'll find himself out of the NFL before long. His comments are radioactive and issuing "clarifications" that only show how out of touch with reality he is aren't helping.
Champion is "ending our business relationship" with Mendenhall since the athletic brand doesn't think he "can appropriately represent Champion," spokesman Matt Hall told Game On! Thursday night.
Mendenhall also questioned what really happened to the Twin Towers during the September 11th attacks. Before deleting it from his Twitter feed, he tweeted he has "a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style."The NFL running back recently signed a 4-year contract extension to endorse Champion through 2015. That extended his first 3-year deal with the unit of Hanesbrands signed in 2008.
The Steelers have also run away from Mendenhall's comments. Mendenhall issued a clarification Wednesday. But it didn't help. Just more proof that athletes and celebrities should be careful before they hit the send button on their tweets.

Hollywood Nutcase Ed Asner Goes Full 9/11 Truther
They really shouldn't let this guy out of the sanitarium. Here he is with an incredulous Adam Carolla, almost nine full minutes of sheer lunacy.
Via Breitbart. More here.
“No high-rise has ever gone down by fire,” Asner explains. “Those buildings fell at the rate of gravity in ten seconds, flat.” He served up some more supposed “facts” as to why the buildings had to have been brought down by domestically planted explosives, rather than internationally hateful terrorists. Carolla tried to debunk the conspiracy theory by asking why the surreptitious government of Asner’s mind, if it was so keen on instigating a war, didn’t go ahead and plant WMDs in Iraq. “Because it wasn’t the same department of government,” Asner replied, chuckling at Carolla’s naiveté.

Ahmadinejad Parties With Farrakhan and Holder's Pals from New Black Panthers
If you get your news from the lamestream media you'd have no idea about the shenanigans from the New Black Panthers Party and Eric Holder's refusal to investigate their actions in the 2008 election (video here). Now we discover the nutty Louis Farrakhan and members of the New Black Panthers, one of whom may have recently visited the White House, this week had an audience with the psychopath 9/11 Truther Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
It was a strange week for the loony strongman from Iran. Here's another sampling of the charming folks who've received a free pass from our so-called Justice Department. And here they are meeting with a declared enemy of our country, yet most of the media casually ignore it.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's six nights in New York featured a secret sit-down with militant minister Louis Farrakhan, heckling in a hotel bar, and a fear of being rubbed out that bordered on paranoia.
The president shared a hush-hush meal with Farrakhan and members of the New Black Panther Party Tuesday at the Warwick Hotel on West 54th Street.
The meeting of the podium smackers took place in a banquet room, where the fiery leaders presumably exchanged theories on what's wrong with the world.

Shocker! Imam Rauf Pal a 9/11 Truther
Of course we're hesitant to play guilt by association, which is something our dear friends on the left never do, but here goes anyway.
A founding member of an organization run by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the driving force behind the planned mosque near Ground Zero, claims that the 9/11 attacks were an "inside job" and that Muslims have been made scapegoats, The Post has learned.Of course he didn't. He'll only respond to preferred media outlets that don't bother doing any backgrounds checks on him.
Faiz Khan -- who has preached at least twice at the former Burlington Coat Factory building, the site of the proposed mosque -- was for years Rauf's partner in the American Society for the Advancement of Muslims, which is dedicated to promoting a better understanding of Islam.
Khan also serves on the advisory board of Muslims for 9/11 Truth and is a founder of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth, known as MUJCA.
On MUJCA's Web site, Khan wrote that "the inescapable fact [is] that 9/11 was an inside job."
"The prime factor for the success of the criminal mission known as 9/11 did not come from the quarter known as 'militant Islam,' although the phenomenon known as 'militant Islamic networks' may have played a partial role, or even a less than partial role -- perhaps the role of patsy and scapegoat," he wrote in documents uncovered by the Investigative Project on Terrorism.
Khan was listed as one of three directors of the American Society for the Advancement of Muslims in its 1997 incorporation papers, when it went by the name of the American Sufi Muslim Association.
ASMA and Rauf's Cordoba Initiative are spearheading the drive to create a $100 million Islamic cultural center and mosque near Ground Zero.
In an e-mail exchange with The Post, Khan said he ended his affiliation with the ASMA in "2002 and 2003," although that claim is contradicted by a record of him speaking at a 2006 ASMA conference in Copenhagen, where his bio listed him as a board member.
When The Post asked Khan who he thought was responsible for 9/11, he initially declined comment, but later said in an e-mail: "I am certain of a few things . . . The towers and WTC 7 could not have collapsed without controlled demolition place from the 'inside.' "
Ray Locker, managing director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism, said: "For someone who claims he wants the mosque project near Ground Zero to help build bridges and heal the wounds from 9/11, it's odd that one of Feisal Rauf's fellow bridge builders is someone who thinks the attacks that killed more than 3,000 people were an 'inside job' by the US government."
Khan told a group of 9/11 deniers at a 2006 Chicago summit called "Revealing the Truth/Reclaiming Our Future" that "the most logical explanation" for 9/11 is that the hijackers were working for corporate America and that the heroin trade creates "billions of dollars" that are laundered by "Citicorp and Procter & Gamble."
Rauf's spokesman didn't return calls for comment.

Season's Beatings From Hollywood!
While the rest of us were busy with family and friends this Christmas, Hollywood moron and 9/11 Truther clown Charlie Sheen decided it would be a good idea to assault his wife.Stay classy, Chuckles.
Bad boy Charlie Sheen spent his Christmas in an Aspen, Co., pokey.
Cops arrested the "Two and a Half Men" actor on domestic violence charges at about 8:30 a.m., Aspen Police Department officials said.
He was charged with second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief and housed in Pitkin County jail, cops said.
RadarOnline.com reported that Sheen had a scuffle with his wife, Brooke Mueller, who was renting an Aspen home for about three months while Sheen remained in Los Angeles.
Sheen flew to be with his wife on Christmas despite their differences, and they began arguing right away, the site reported. A source told the site that Mueller called police after Sheen pushed her.

That Time of Year: National Geographic to Air 9/11 Conspiracy Show
Nothing like giving airtime to a bunch of pathetic lunatics who provided inspiration for the famed comment from a fatuous fathead that fire couldn't melt steel.
These cretins have been so thoroughly debunked the past couple of years it's a wonder why the National Geographic Channel would even bother airing this rubbish. On the upside, however, it's helping provide a little comic fodder as we approach the eighth anniversary of 9/11.
These cretins have been so thoroughly debunked the past couple of years it's a wonder why the National Geographic Channel would even bother airing this rubbish. On the upside, however, it's helping provide a little comic fodder as we approach the eighth anniversary of 9/11.
EIGHT years after Sept. 11, the debate over what exactly happened that tragic day -- and who is to blame -- rages on.The men in white coats are here to see you now, Mr. Hicks.
Several of the most widely known tenets dear to the hearts of those who don't believe the official explanation for what brought down the Twin Towers are put to the test Monday night in an unusual National Geographic Channel special, "9/11: Science and Conspiracy."
* Was the Pentagon hit by an airplane or a missile?
* Did the Twin Towers really collapse from fires caused by burning jet fuel?
* Or were carefully placed explosives inside the buildings the real cause of its collapse?
The special is built around a series of scientific experiments that were conducted under the watchful eyes of a group of Truthers -- the name the conspiracy movement has given itself.
But at least one local Truther -- Sander Hicks, producer of WeDemandTransparency.com and author of the controversial conspiracy book, "The Big Wedding" -- has seen a critic's DVD of the special and has his own reaction:
"This documentary is clearly part of the cover-up," he says.

Here A Nut, There A Nut, Everywhere A Nut Nut
In Europe, Petr Hajek is considered a right-winger. I amend that common characterization to European right-wing nut.

Petr Hajek, a close aide to Czech President Vaclav Klaus and Klaus's former spokesman, views as realistic the possibility that the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the USA were organised by U.S. secret services, not Islamist radicals, daily Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD) writes Wednesday.
"There exists a real possibility that September 11 was really organised by U.S. secret services," MfD quotes Hajek as saying in his new book of essays.
Hajek does not give any evidence to support his assertion. The fool must not know of Alex Jones. Rest assured, though, he should shortly.

Klaus aide: 9/11 attacks likely not by Islamists
On September 11, 2001, Islamist radicals hijacked four planes with passengers. They crashed with two into the WTO center towers in New York and with one into the Pentagon building in Washington. So, Mr. President, what is your opinion on these subjects. Your disqualifier has strength equal to that of milquetoast, IMHGDO. You either support his 9/11 bullshit or you don't.
The fourth plane crashed before reaching the target, after several passengers put up resistance to the hijackers.
The attacks claimed several thousands of lives.
Citing Hajek's book, MfD writes that he believes that Al-Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden is nothing but a media fiction.
"I personally tend to believe that Usama (as known to the world from his TV addresses) has never existed," Hajek writes in his book.
Elsewhere in the book he labels former Czech president Vaclav Havel "a radical neo-Marxist" and a staunch left-winger.
In his book Hajek also mentions the police's attack on a peaceful demonstration in Prague on November 17, 1989, which triggered off the "Velvet Revolution" in then communist Czechoslovakia.
"November 17 was quite an unimportant incident. Undoubtedly it was no spontaneous action of people," Hajek writes.
According to him, the November 17 demonstrators were brought into streets by the manipulative media propaganda that had raised their feeling that demonstrations "had become acceptable."
"The year 1989 in Czechoslovakia was no democratic revolution (the less so velvet) or an uprising in support of freedom. It was not people's uprising against an oppressive regime," Hajek says in his book, MfD writes.
It ensues from Hajek's book that the world consists of two groups of people - right-wing admirers of Klaus, and leftist Marxists. Former U.S. president George W.Bush is part of the latter group, according to Hajek.
Addressed by MfD, Klaus said Hajek's book is inventive and immensely useful in certain aspects, such as his opinion about the role of the media.
"Hajek says the layer of media manipulation that surrounds September 11, Usama bin Laden and the bombing of Serbia (in 1999) is huge. This makes everyone think about it. By saying this I don't at all say that I share Hajek's opinion on how the events really occurred or might have occurred," Klaus said.
A few weeks ago, Hajek attracted public attention by challenging Darwin's theory of evolution, which in his opinion has "much in common" with Marxism.Too bad this village idiot has such a proctologist's view of Marxists. But for that, BarryO might be inclined to go ahead with the proposed Star Wars project. You know, as a reward for truferism and all that.

Post-traumatic Iraq Syndrome
A defeatist by the name of Christopher J. Fettweis, assistant professor of national security affairs at the U.S. Naval War College, has declared the Iraq war lost and says we need to begin dealing with the aftermath.
OK, he's entitled to his opinion, but it doesn't make it indelible fact.
None of this is to imply Mr. Fettweis is a Truther, but it's curious that he's been listed at this site. It's rather disturbing to see that we have a representative of the U.S. Naval War College not only being such a defeatist, but also associated with 9/11 Truthers.
OK, he's entitled to his opinion, but it doesn't make it indelible fact.
The endgame in Iraq is now clear, in outline if not detail, and it appears that the heavily favored United States will be upset. Once support for a war is lost, it is gone for good; there is no example of a modern democracy having changed its mind once it turned against a war. So we ought to start coming to grips with the meaning of losing in Iraq.So I decided to check out just who this Fettweis is and found and article of his posted at Centre for Research and Globalization, entitled "Eurasia, the "World Island": Geopolitics, and Policymaking in the 21st Century", Eurasia, the "World Island": Geopolitics, and Policymaking in the 21st Century". Make of that what you wish, and I recommend reading it, but curiously, on the home page of that site one can find announcements for an Impeach Bush Rally scheduled for today in Palo Alto, for the Vancouver 9/11 Truth Conference, and something called the Pentagon's Second 9/11. Note some of the attendees at the conference:
The consequences for the national psyche are likely to be profound, throwing American politics into a downward spiral of bitter recriminations the likes of which it has not seen in a generation. It will be a wedge that politicians will exploit for their benefit, proving yet again that politics is the eternal enemy of strategy. The Vietnam syndrome divided this country for decades; the Iraq syndrome will be no different.
The battle for interpretation has already begun, with fingers of blame pointed in all directions in hastily written memoirs. The war's supporters have staked out their position quite clearly: Attacking Iraq was strategically sound but operationally flawed. Key decisions on troop levels, de-Baathification, the disbanding of the Iraqi army and the like doomed what otherwise would have been a glorious war.
Speakers / Presenters and their Subjects:A rather dubious group of crackpots.
Prof. Kevin Barrett (U. Madison) lecturer, activist and radio talkshow host, author of "Truth Jihad: My Epic Struggle Against the 9/11 Big Lie" will speak on "How We Know It was an Inside Job". He will also be the conference MC.
Mr. Webster Griffin Tarpley, journalist and author of “Synthetic Terror: Made in the USA” on the History of False-Flag Terrorism and 9/11 as a False Flag Psy Op.
Prof. Peter Dale Scott, (U. Berkley) author, journalist, poet, and former Canadian Diplomat on Drugs, Oil, and War as well Parallels between the JFK Assassination and 9/11
Prof. Steven E. Jones, (formerly of B.Y.U.) on his published paper entitled "Why Indeed Did the WTC Buildings Completely Collapse" and the scientific, forensic evidence for the use of thermate in the destruction of the WTC.
Mr. Rowland Morgan UK, journalist and author of "Flight 93 Revealed" on Flight 93 Anomalies which indicate that Flight 93 was shot down
None of this is to imply Mr. Fettweis is a Truther, but it's curious that he's been listed at this site. It's rather disturbing to see that we have a representative of the U.S. Naval War College not only being such a defeatist, but also associated with 9/11 Truthers.
