What We've All Been Waiting For: Al Gore in 24-Hour Broadcast to Convert 'Climate Skeptics'

Is there a prize for anyone who stays awake for the entire screed? A lifetime supply of Sominex? This dude puts me to sleep in two minutes. How on earth in the balance can someone handle 24 hours of this colossal bore?
Former President Al Gore will renew his 30-year campaign to convince skeptics of the link between climate change and extreme weather events this week in a 24-hour global multi-media event.

"24 Hours of Reality" will broadcast a presentation by Al Gore every hour for 24 hours across 24 different time zones from Wednesday to Thursday, with the aim of convincing climate change deniers and driving action against global warming among households, schools and businesses.

The campaign also asks people to hand over control of their social networking accounts on Facebook and Twitter to it for 24 hours to deliver Gore's message.
Hand over control of Twitter and Facebook accounts? Gee, what could go wrong with that risky scheme?
"There will be 200 new slides arguing the connection between more extreme weather and climate change," Trewin Restorick, chief executive of the event's UK partner Global Action Plan, told Reuters on Monday.

"There will be a full-on assault on climate skeptics, exploring where they get their funding from."
Hmm, a full-on assault? Sounds pretty violent. Won't this scare the children or something?

The Goracle claims for 24 hours, we will all live in reality. Unlike the rest of the year when Gore lives in his massive oceanfront mansion laying down a carbon footprint that dwarfs mere mortals.

Here's an idiotic video clip through their link.

In Gore's typical cowardly fashion, you can't comment on it. That sure is a means of stifling those evil deniers! So much for an honest debate.

Rainstorm in the Northeast? Why It Was Climate Change, Of Course

The rest of this week calls for sunny skies and temperatures in the 60's. As a "so-called skeptic" I question the timing.

Is there anything this clown won't blame on his fantasies?
If there’s a drought – it’s global warming. When there’s a hurricane – it’s global warming. If there are heavy snows or even blizzards – it’s somehow global warming. And amazingly, the latest round of rainy and windy weather in the Northeast, well that’s consistent with this phenomenon as well, so says former Vice President Al Gore.

Gore, the self-anointed climate change alarmist-in-chief, told supporters on a March 15 conference call that severe weather in certain regions of the country could be attributed to carbon in the atmosphere – including the recent rash of rainy weather.

“[T]he odds have shifted toward much larger downpours,” Gore said. “And we have seen that happen in the Northeast, we’ve seen it happen in the Northwest – in both of those regions are among those that scientists have predicted for a long time would begin to experience much larger downpours.”

But Gore had a specific example in mind. He explained this recent soaking in the Northeastern United States was “consistent” with what global warming alarmists were projecting.

“Just look at what has been happening for the last three days,” Gore said. “The so-called skeptics haven’t noted it because it’s not snow. But the downpours and heavy winds are consistent with what the scientists have long warned about.”

So what did Gore suggest? He proposed to solve these weather events he tied to climate change by revamping the American economy to being powered by “clean renewable energy” and phasing out the reliance of foreign oil.

“And we now face the opportunity to start doing something about this,” Gore said. “Rather than continuing to spend billions of dollars on foreign oil, we can make a transition to clean energy and pass that money here at home on clean renewable energy sources, creating millions of new jobs, building new industries – making us more secure."
Safe to say most Americans would like to wean ourselves off foreign oil. Except Gore and Obama oppose drilling on our own property.

They love having it both ways.

Update: Thanks to Hot Air for the link. Also at Hot Air, Ed Morrissey has this bit of hilarity of Senator James Inhofe unloading on ManBearPig. The cover of The Weekly Standard is pure gold.

UK Independence Party Seeks to Ban Al Gore Junk Science Schlockumentary

Let's hope they start doing it in schools here as well. It's a start. Click the image for a review of all his lies.
Pending the results of the commission, the party, that has no MPs at the moment, have promised to build new fossil-fuelled power stations to meet energy demands and scrap subsidies for wind farms. Global warming 'propaganda' like the Al Gore film Inconvenient Truth will be banned in schools and public authorities will not be allowed to spend money on climate change initiatives.

A recent poll found the just one in five people believe climate change is man-made, compared to one in three a year ago.

The survey of 1,000 people found people over 65 were more likely to be sceptical.

Viscount Monckton of Brenchley, the UKIP climate change spokesman, said his party was the only opportunity to vote against the climate change consensus.

"At the moment all the major parties have decided to sign up to the eco-fascist agenda and therefore anyone who does not believe in eco-fascist agenda has no where else to go," he said.

Climate change sceptics claim that emails stolen from the University of East Anglia show scientists were willing to manipulate the data around global warming in a scandal known as 'climategate'.

In another scandal known as 'glaciergate' the UN body in charge of climate change science, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), was forced to retract a claim that the Himalayan glaciers could melt by 2035.

However leading scientists, including the Royal Society, insist the case for man-made global warming remains convincing and it is a grave threat to human civilisation.
Well, you can't ever expect the true believers to admit they're in on the hoax.

The Return of 'Frozen Gore'

Considering most of the planet is suffering through one of the coldest winters in decades, I notice global warming hoaxer Al Gore has been keeping an unusually low profile the last couple of weeks after the Copenhagen debacle. Probably safely ensconced in one of his mansions building up his massive carbon footprint by blasting the heat. Even a scammer like Gore likes to stay warm.

So we notice today that "Frozen Al Gore" has made a triumphant return up in Alaska.
In what might become an annual tradition, an ice sculpture of former Vice President Al Gore has taken its place in front of Thrifty Liquor along Airport Way.

The two-ton “Frozen Gore” sculpture isn’t exactly a tribute. It’s a tongue-in-cheek critique of Gore’s vocal belief in man-made climate change, complete with hot air pouring out of his mouth.

Local businessmen Craig Compeau and Rudy Gavora contracted the piece from award-winning sculptor Steve Dean and say they’ll keep erecting one each winter until Gore accepts an invitation to discuss the global warming issue in Fairbanks.

“We do want to invite debate,” Compeau said. “We don’t agree with his theories — we’re suspicious of the financial motivation behind them.”

This year’s version includes special effects, thanks to a system that pipes the exhaust from a Ford F-350 out of Gore’s open mouth. Compeau will fire up the truck periodically this winter to create the “hot air” effect.

With temperatures in the single digits, a crowd of about 10 people laughed as smoke poured out of the sculpture as it was unveiled Tuesday morning. An excerpt of a recent Gore speech on climate change played over a loudspeaker.

Compeau said the sculpture is inspiring a contest, in which the winner will receive winter gear and an Al Gore bobblehead doll.

He’s asking people to guess how long an F-350 would need to run to match the emissions of a Lear jet flight from Gore’s home in Tennessee to Copenhagen, the site of a recent international climate change summit.

In an e-mail, a Gore spokeswoman said the former vice president doesn’t own a Lear jet and flew to and from Copenhagen aboard commercial flights.

Compeau said he’ll change the wording so his Web site doesn’t claim Gore took a private jet but said the contest will remain the same. He said Gore has been guilty of hypocrisy in the past on the climate change issue.

“I know he’s gone out of his way to be seen flying commercial, but in the past, he’s flown on a Lear jet,” he said.

Running Scared: Gore Ducks Australian Globwarm Skeptic

Nothing like being a man and facing your critics. Here we have this bloated bag of wind who has no regular job, traipses around the globe on private jets lecturing the little people about his global warming hoax, and yet when an elected official in the country he's visiting asks for a meeting, well, he just can't quite fit it into his busy schedule.

What a fraud.
Senator Fielding is trying to score a one-on-one meeting with Mr Gore, who is in Australia promoting several environmental causes, to prove to him that climate change sceptics are right.

Senator Fielding has promised to clear his schedule for any chance to meet the former US vice-president and Nobel Prize-winning environmental campaigner.

"The ball's in his court," a spokesman for the senator said.

The spokesman has said Mr Gore is aware that Senator Fielding holds a crucial vote in parliament and that any major green schemes - such as the Government's model to reduce carbon pollution in Australia - essentially rely on his support.

"(Mr Gore) said 'look, the schedule's tight but hopefully we can work something out'," when Senator Fielding approached yesterday for a meeting on the issue, the spokesman said.

"Al Gore's very aware that Steve has a crucial vote in the Senate."

It is believed Mr Gore will only be in the country for another day or so.
Run, Algore, run!

Gore has controlled the debate over this scam for years and is never subjected to honest critique during his lectures and can't handle any contrary viewpoints that debunk his nonsense.

More people have caught on to this fraud. If only our own elected officials would wake up and do the same.

Moronic Former VP: Fighting Mythical Climate Change Just Like Fighting the Nazis

Considering it was the coolest June here in the New York area in 50 years, I guess climate change is deep inside its bunker ready to eat the gun or something.

Nothing like using absurd examples to make a point, but never let it be said Al Gore wasn't prone to gross exaggeration to get the lemmings to follow along.
Al Gore today compared the battle against climate change with the struggle against the Nazis.

The former US Vice President said the world lacked the political will to act and invoked the spirit of Winston Churchill by encouraging leaders to unite their nations to fight climate change.

He also accused politicians around the world of exploiting ignorance about the dangers of global warming to avoid difficult decisions.

Speaking in Oxford at the Smith School World Forum on Enterprise and the Environment, sponsored by The Times, Mr Gore said: “Winston Churchill aroused this nation in heroic fashion to save civilisation in World War II.”
I always find it amusing how these wacked-out lefties now enjoy invoking Churchill when it's convenient. Give them a couple more decades and they'll be quoting Ronald Reagan on a regular basis.

Nothing like a little projection there by claiming people are exploiting ignorance. How else did this guy become a multimillionaire other than preying on the stupidity of his followers?
He added: “We have everything we need except political will but political will is a renewable resource.”

Mr Gore admitted that it was difficult to persuade the public that the threat from climate change was as urgent as the threat from Nazi Germany.
Then why even go there other than out of desperation since your hoax has been exposed as a lie?

I find it a gross insult to the soldiers who gave their lives fighting the Nazis that we have this buffoon comparing their cause to some money-making scam of his.

For shame.

Fraud Goracle Confronted By Scientist

How much longer must we suffer with this boob?
The Goreacle has spoken–again.

Former Vice President Al Gore repeated his message that climate change is a planetary emergency at the WSJ’s Economics conference in California. The Nobel-prize winner declined to take any questions from reporters, but he did receive a couple of challenges from attendees, including Bjorn Lomborg. But don’t expect Mr. Gore to debate the merits of how best to tackle climate change anytime soon.

Mr. Gore stuck to his prepared script about the urgency of taking action to curb global greenhouse-gas emissions, down to well-worn phrases he trots out at conferences across the country: America is at “a political tipping point” on climate change, and even if Washington has failed to address the energy challenge in the last 35 years, “political will is a renewable resource.”

But he was challenged by Mr. Lomborg, the Danish skeptical environmentalist who thinks the world would be better off spending more money on health and education issues than curbing carbon emissions.

“I don’t mean to corner you, or maybe I do mean to corner you, but would you be willing to have a debate with me on that point?” asked the polo-shirt wearing Dane.

“I want to be polite to you,” Mr. Gore responded. But, no. “The scientific community has gone through this chapter and verse. We have long since passed the time when we should pretend this is a ‘on the one hand, on the other hand’ issue,” he said. “It’s not a matter of theory or conjecture, for goodness sake,” he added.

Great News! Algore Still Winning Grammys

Believe it or not, the bloated, fear-mongering former Vice President managed to cop another Grammy at the ego-fest in Los Angeles Sunday night.
An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore has won the 2009 GRAMMY Award for Best Spoken Word Album.

An Inconvenient Truth is read by Beau Bridges, Cynthia Nixon and Blair Underwood.

With wit, smarts and hope, AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH ultimately brings home Gore's persuasive argument that we can no longer afford to view global warming as a political issue - rather, it is the biggest moral challenges facing our global civilization.

The 2009 Grammys recognize albums released between October 1, 2007 and September 30, 2008.
The paperback version of this fiction was released nearly three years ago and they're still milking this discredited drivel in 2009.

Good grief.

'Environmentalism and the Global Warming Alarmism is Challenging Our Freedom'

The environmental brownshirts aren't going to like this.
Czech President Vaclav Klaus took aim at climate change campaigner Al Gore on Saturday in Davos in a frontal attack on the science of global warming.

"I don't think that there is any global warming," said the 67-year-old liberal, whose country holds the rotating presidency of the European Union. "I don't see the statistical data for that."

Referring to the former US vice president, who attended Davos this year, he added: "I'm very sorry that some people like Al Gore are not ready to listen to the competing theories. I do listen to them.

"Environmentalism and the global warming alarmism is challenging our freedom. Al Gore is an important person in this movement."

Speaking on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, he said that he was more worried about the reaction to the perceived dangers than the consequences.

"I'm afraid that the current crisis will be misused for radically constraining the functioning of the markets and market economy all around the world," he said.

"I'm more afraid of the consequences of the crisis than the crisis itself."

'In Other Words, This Crisis is an Opportunity'

He's playing on our fears!
"The road to Copenhagen is now very clear. It starts with the passage of President Barack Obama's stimulus bill in its entirety. And then, secondly, we need to put a price on carbon by passing cap and trade legislation," Gore said Tuesday in an interview with The Associated Press. "In other words, this crisis is an opportunity."
The bloated windbag has apparently braved a Washington storm to bloviate about mythical global warming.

Yawn.

So. Damn. Tedious.

Of course, never let a crisis go without capitalizing on it for your own gain.

And now, a tribute to the world's most famous unlicensed climatologist.

Algore: Cold As Ice

You're chilly, baby.
Al Gore can thank the Nobel Committee for honoring him with the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.

He can also thank Fairbanks businessman Craig Compeau for what could be the farthest-north likeness of the former vice president: A 5-ton ice sculpture of a “shivering” Gore, created during a recent spell of bitterly cold weather in Alaska and aimed at confronting global-warming theories.

Compeau described himself as a moderate skeptic of those who “rabidly” believe man-made emissions are contributing to a rise in global temperatures. Gore won his Nobel for raising awareness of global warming as one of the greatest challenges facing mankind.

“Be skeptical. Or not. But research it yourself,” Compeau told the roughly three dozen onlookers and reporters gathered at the corner of Airport Way and Cushman Street at 10 a.m. Monday under gray skies. “There’s a lot on both sides.”

Alaska Glaciers Grow, Algore Unavailable for Comment

Sarah Palin just stared them down and stopped the melting all by herself.
Two hundred years of glacial shrinkage in Alaska, and then came the winter and summer of 2007-2008.

Unusually large amounts of winter snow were followed by unusually chill temperatures in June, July and August.

"In mid-June, I was surprised to see snow still at sea level in Prince William Sound," said U.S. Geological Survey glaciologist Bruce Molnia. "On the Juneau Icefield, there was still 20 feet of new snow on the surface of the Taku Glacier in late July. At Bering Glacier, a landslide I am studying, located at about 1,500 feet elevation, did not become snow free until early August.
Meanwhile, records cold in Oregon and California recently.

Funny how this isn't national news.

'Internationally Recognized Defender of the Earth'

Wow. Fawning drivel nonpareil.

Absolutely embarrassing that a media outlet would actually print this. Then again, it's as if they took the Obama template and replaced his name with that of The Goracle.
Al Gore, long mocked as an exaggerating bore, seems certain to land a lead role at the Democratic National Convention as an internationally recognized defender of the Earth.

Eight years after losing one of the closest White House elections ever, Gore is being embraced by party faithful as the Nobel Peace Prize-winning crusader against global warming, and one of the most successful failed U.S. presidential nominees in history.

While the Democratic Party has yet to announce its lineup of convention speakers, the former vice president is on an anticipated short list of headliners at the four-day gathering in Denver that opens on August 25, party aides say.

"He'll receive a tremendous reception," said Democratic Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa, a convention delegate.

"A lot of us still feel he was cheated" in the 2000 vote, Harkin said. "If he'd been president, we wouldn't have had these (Bush administration) messes the past eight years."

"Also, we admire his tenacity in protecting the environment. Many share his vision on what needs to be done," Harkin said.

In traveling the world to warn against the threat of climate change, Gore, 60, routinely draws packed crowds and has earned rock-star status among young supporters.
Good grief, did Gore author this himself?

It gets worse.
"He's charismatic. He's a strong orator. He has a presence that draws you in," George Chipev, a 20-year-old Georgetown University student, said afterward in listing attributes that even Gore backers admit he lacked in his White House bid.

Added Beth Camphouse, 21, a student at James Madison University: "Al Gore is one of the few public figures challenging my generation to do anything. He's inspirational."
What planet are these people living on?
"You've got to give Al Gore credit," said Shirley Anne Warshaw of the Center for the Study of the Presidency. "He became a star by rising above politics with his passion for the environment. He's now international leader on an issue more and more people care about. There has been no more successful defeated presidential candidate."

Nutroots Nation Gushes Over Algore

Sounds like the New York Times is handling Al Gore's PR.
After 40 minutes of questions with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Vice President Al Gore’s voice came over the public address system, and he suddenly appeared on stage, as the audience gasped, shrieked and gave him a standing ovation. As he began speaking, to rounds of applause, Mrs. Pelosi was overheard saying as an aside to the moderator, “Isn’t it exciting that he’s here?”

He is speaking this morning to more than 2,000 bloggers and others meeting at the Netroots Nation convention. His appearance here has been kept hush hush, with word only that a mystery guest would be coming on stage after a question
Memo the The Times: It's former Vice President.

Meanwhile, the brownshirts are eating their own. How dare a Democrat draw a paycheck from the evil Fox News!

Moonbat Sets 'Moon Shot'

You really have to wonder whether the bloated former Vice President and national embarrassment Al Gore ever reads the news.

He can't really be this clueless.

Can he?
Just as John F. Kennedy set his sights on the moon, Al Gore is challenging the nation to produce every kilowatt of electricity through wind, sun and other Earth-friendly energy sources within 10 years, an audacious goal he hopes the next president will embrace.

The Nobel Prize-winning former vice president said fellow Democrat Barack Obama and Republican rival John McCain are "way ahead" of most politicians in the fight against global climate change.

Rising fuel costs, climate change and the national security threats posed by U.S. dependence on foreign oil are conspiring to create "a new political environment" that Gore said will sustain bold and expensive steps to wean the nation off fossil fuels.
Tell it to the Chinese and Indians, fatboy. They'll be burning more fossil fuels the next 30 years than we could ever imagine.

Read the rest of this drivel from AP if you can stomach it.

Such shameless propaganda is yet another reason to avoid thier nonsense.

Memo to Goracle: It's Now Safe To Have Some 'T' on Your BLT

One of the more absurd statements from the bloated former Vice President when he was endorsing The Messiah Monday night was that because of election outcomes America could no longer enjoy tomatoes on their bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches (watch around the 1:00 mark). Judging by Algore's immense girth, the brief salmonella outbreak affecting tomatoes was a hardship on him, although it probably just allowed him room for more bacon.

Gore also blamed tainted Chinese products on George W. Bush, an outlandish claim coming from a guy who was in an administration up to their necks in ChiCom cash, but I digress.

Anyway, our long national nightmare is over, as tomatoes are going back on fast food menus. Gore, as always, has impeccable timing.
Restaurant companies are rolling tomatoes back into their stores, as health officials investigate an outbreak of salmonella cases, including nine in the Chicago area.

The Food and Drug Administration has linked the outbreak that sickened 277 people across the country to a crop of tomatoes. Restaurant chains had pulled tomatoes from their sandwich topping offerings.

McDonald's Corp. began bringing sliced tomatoes back Tuesday, said Bill Whitman, spokesman for the Oak Brook-based hamburger chain's U.S. operations. None of the McDonald's restaurants were connected to the illnesses, he said.
In other Goracle news, the hypocrisy continues to astound, as the energy consumption for his mansion increased by 10% last year (H/T Hot Air).
NASHVILLE - In the year since Al Gore took steps to make his home more energy-efficient, the former Vice President’s home energy use surged more than 10%, according to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research.

“A man’s commitment to his beliefs is best measured by what he does behind the closed doors of his own home,” said Drew Johnson, President of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research. “Al Gore is a hypocrite and a fraud when it comes to his commitment to the environment, judging by his home energy consumption.”

In the past year, Gore’s home burned through 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month.

In February 2007, An Inconvenient Truth, a film based on a climate change speech developed by Gore, won an Academy Award for best documentary feature. The next day, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research uncovered that Gore’s Nashville home guzzled 20 times more electricity than the average American household.
Big Al gets a rotten tomato for his egregious consumption.

Actually, I welcome this buffoon endorsing Obama. Considering his robust endorsements of Howard Dean and John Kerry in 2004, I'd say his recent track record has proved very successful.

For Republicans.

Perhaps if Gore acted in a more dignified manner befitting his former office his endorsements would have more weight.

Goracle, The Opera

Dude must have taken a serious knock to the head.

Italian composer sees music in Al Gore's film
Italian composer Giorgio Battistelli says he believes operatic treatment of Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" will help people see the world's environmental predicament from a fresh point of view.

"Opera makes you reflect," he said in a phone interview Friday. He is working on an opera based on Gore's book and film about climate change.

Artists in general "make you see things differently, make you see things in a new light. When we see a painting by Francis Bacon or a film of Sydney Pollack, we get a very precise idea of the problems of our century," Battistelli said.

He began work on the opera a year ago, and the Milan opera house La Scala plans to present it during the 2011 season as part of celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Italy's unification in 1861.

"I thought it could be a good idea to deal on this important occasion with a subject that involves not only Italy but the world," Battistelli said.

The opera will be told through characters and not a narrator, he said.

La Scala's chorus will figure prominently, and Battistelli said he plans to include the figure of the former U.S. vice president in the story.

"It will be about the tragedy of our present situation," Battistelli said. "It is a great challenge, of course, to write an opera on such an unusual subject. It is certainly not the story of Romeo and Juliet."

Algore Was Unavailable for Comment

Possible snowfall in Daytona Beach. How can this be?

Ominous silence from the global warming hysterics.
ORLANDO, Fla. -- A hard freeze expected in parts of Central Florida early Thursday will bring a chance of snow flurries in Daytona Beach and other areas as temperatures drop into the teens and low 20s.

"There will be clouds that are similar to the clouds that are generated in the Great Lakes states when we have lake-effect snow," Local 6 meteorologist Larry Mowry said. "I'm going to call for the possibility of snow flurries early Thursday morning near the coastline."

Mowry said residents in Daytona Beach, Titusville, Palm Bay and Melbourne may see the snow flurries Thursday.

Algore's Revisionist History

Apparently the media is too stupid to even question the nonsense coming out of his mouth.

Just making it up as he goes along.
"I have one reason for being optimistic, and that is that I see throughout my own country, the United States of America, and throughout the world the rising of the world's first people-power movement on a global basis," he said.

Gore pointed to an international grassroots nuclear-freeze movement which helped push U.S. President Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev to sign arms controls deals in the late 1980s, and said the climate campaign was even broader.
Nice revisionist history, fatboy.

Nothing like a little bit of gross exaggeration to try and buttress his already weak argument.
"The engines of our great global civilization are now pouring 70 million tons of global warming pollution into (the atmosphere) every single day. It is having the consequences long predicted by the scientific community," he said.

"It is now abundantly clear that we cannot continue this process," he said.
I seriously think he's suffering from megalomania. That, or he's just mentally ill.

Kooky Krugman: Right Has 'Gore Derangement Syndrome'

Such is life as a hack for the New York Times, you suffer so much for your hatred for the right, you can't even come up with an original term to ascribe to those you detest.

Charles Krauthammer coined the term "Bush Derangement Syndrome" years ago to describe the irrational hatred from the left for George W. Bush.

Now, psycho columnist Paul Krugman claims valid criticism of The Goracle amounts to Gore Derangment Syndrome. How original.

This piece is a massive case of projection.

Maybe Stephen Colbert should have helped him with this one.
What is it about Mr. Gore that drives right-wingers insane?

Partly it’s a reaction to what happened in 2000, when the American people chose Mr. Gore but his opponent somehow ended up in the White House. Both the personality cult the right tried to build around President Bush and the often hysterical denigration of Mr. Gore were, I believe, largely motivated by the desire to expunge the stain of illegitimacy from the Bush administration.

And now that Mr. Bush has proved himself utterly the wrong man for the job — to be, in fact, the best president Al Qaeda’s recruiters could have hoped for — the symptoms of Gore derangement syndrome have grown even more extreme.

The worst thing about Mr. Gore, from the conservative point of view, is that he keeps being right. In 1992, George H. W. Bush mocked him as the “ozone man,” but three years later the scientists who discovered the threat to the ozone layer won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. In 2002 he warned that if we invaded Iraq, “the resulting chaos could easily pose a far greater danger to the United States than we presently face from Saddam.” And so it has proved.

But Gore hatred is more than personal. When National Review decided to name its anti-environmental blog Planet Gore, it was trying to discredit the message as well as the messenger. For the truth Mr. Gore has been telling about how human activities are changing the climate isn’t just inconvenient. For conservatives, it’s deeply threatening.
Keep projecting. What an idiot. I guess he hasn't been reading up on the blatant distortions and misrepresentation's in Ozone Man's propaganda flick. But havings facts on your side has never mattered to Krugman.

More from NewsBusters, Michelle Malkin, Jules Crittenden.

UPDATE: After some thought, maybe Krugman will claim the satire defense.
