Atlanta is occupied no more. Thank goodness the mayor ordered the police to take out the trash and let's hope they don't come back. These occupy folks have been nothing but rude, crude and immature ever since they appeared as a blight in Woodruff Park in downtown Atlanta and have been one of the largest collections of stupid assembled in one place I have ever witnessed.

Here is a short list of the stupid from this crowd in the days they staged their collective hissy fit.
1) Denied Rep John Lewis an opportunity to speak to them on Day One
2) Engaged in a mind numbing act called the human microphone where by the crowd in a scene straight out of every cult horror show from Hollywood would repeat word for word whatever a speaker said.
3) Staged a protest walk to a hospital in some sort of dispute over a homeless shelter thereby endangering people who may have needed attention at the hospital.
4) Staged daily afternoon protest walks designed to snarl afternoon rush hour traffic.
5) Planned to protest at a mall in the Buckhead area of Atlanta but only managed to get lost on the way and the few that made it were turned away at the doors by security guards.
6) In a final act of something that can only be described as a scene from Harry Potter they marched to the headquarters of Georgia Pacific, a company owned by the Koch brothers, and attempted to levitate the building. Yes levitate the building.

I hope they don't come back, but like a bad cold I have a feeling they are going to try to come back.

There are times when newspapers should consider closing their comments sections. This is one of them.

A San Jose man attending the California Republican Party convention collapsed while dancing at a late night post-convention party and died.

Shortly after 11:15 p.m. Saturday, Doug McNea, a longtime leader of the Silicon Valley Taxpayers Association and three-time Republican Assembly candidate, collapsed while dancing at a party thrown by Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Bakersfield at the Sheraton Hotel, across the street from where the convention was held at the Sacramento Convention Center.

As party-goers and soon thereafter rescue workers attended to him on the dance floor, the party was immediately closed. McCarthy, who was there, identified him outside the closed doors of the party and asked the remaining crowd outside to offer their prayers and support. Rescue workers took McNea to a nearby hospital.

California Republican Party spokesman Mark Standriff confirmed that he died overnight.

Cue the sensitive, thoughtful liberals.

Probably not a loss to humanity. Just another opportunist gotten fat from maligning the evil liberals.

Thanks to union greed and enabled by the Democrats, Barack Obama and the media, we've now got families and friends now hating on each other in Wisconsin. Mission accomplished, Barack!

Milwaukee Public Schools psychologist Jessica Coyle was in tears after reading a cousin's Facebook post calling public employees "whores and a bunch of other nasty things," according to her husband, David, an MPS history teacher. "What made matters worse was that her godmother 'liked' the comment," Coyle told a reporter.

"My wife sent a message to say, 'Hey, remember me, your family member, I am a public employee and I am not a whore.' Her intention was for the cousin to say, 'Oops, sorry, I forgot,' or something along those lines. He didn't. He only said, 'That is how I feel, you can defriend me if you want.' "

The couple couldn't believe how the governor's proposed budget-repair bill was playing out in the virtual community of Facebook, David Coyle said. "We thought that blood was thicker than water. Guess not."

Intensely personal, divisive debates have taken over Facebook in recent weeks, with paychecks, pensions and union rights on the line. The social graces and filtering of opinions that normally temper face-to-face conversations don't necessarily apply to Facebook, where comments can be deleted and friends can be "unfriended" or "hidden" if they cross the line of civility.

Friends, family members, neighbors and co-workers linger in cyber communities at all hours of the day and night, sharing links to opinion pieces, videos, newspaper articles and their own blogs to inform the conversation and persuade others to agree with them.

When Democratic senators fled Wisconsin to stall the vote on Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair bill a week ago, Daryle Wooley of Elkhorn posted on Facebook that the senators should either return or be fired. "Democracy is 24-7; not just when it's something you're in favor of," he wrote.

Within hours, responses came flooding in from Facebook friends around the country, "including some people who were very close to me," Wooley recalled. "I couldn't believe the tone."

He responded to critics, explaining that he had to cash in his IRA and take out a second mortgage on his house just to keep his cast limestone manufacturing business afloat. He told them: "This is the real world. You don't understand pain. If my wife wouldn't have gotten a new job, my health insurance would have gone away. I'm down from 33 employees to three."

Several private e-mail conversations defused the conflict with Facebook friends, but he won't forget it, he said.

"Three weeks ago, we were all one happy family with the Packers," Wooley said. "And now we're all at each other's throats. This is ripping us apart. It's sad."

Indeed, it is sad. So much for Barack Obama, The Great Uniter.

"Facebook is scary," said Lobacz, who works in the health care industry. "I don't think I've ever seen anything as polarizing as this on Facebook, and it's gotten ugly. . . .  I completely feel everyone should have a right to voice an opinion, but when you stoop to calling people 'stupid' and question their education level, that crosses the line," she said.

"This is such a hot-button issue, people have lost all civility," said Lobacz, of Waukesha. "They've forgotten how to be nice. The protesters in Madison have been more polite than my Facebook friends."

The left lost all civility decades ago. After pretending they wanted civility following the Arizona shootings in early January, we've seen and endless orgy of hate coming from their side. Had the right and tea party members been one-hundredth as uncivil we'd be seeing video running 24/7 on the networks. Instead, the violence and uncivil behavior of union thugs around the nation is largely ignored. That merely feeds the beast. That's what they want. And as we now enter an 18-month presidential campaign cycle, it'll only becomes worse.

A lot worse.

I tell you what, that whole argument about civility returning to the political debate in this country is really taking off.

The "Mercury Players Theatre production is about liberal college students who invite some incredibly conservative guests to dinner and then kill them.

This is coming from that wonderful winterland of liberal compassion, Madison, Wisconsin. For those not familiar with Madison, it is like the San Francisco of the Frozen Tundra. You know the same sort of mindset where you are free to say and think anything anything you wish as long as it fits the progressive narrative; otherwise, they have ways of dealing with you. I think it was Ace who pointed out that this is real similar to attitudes in the Middle East where polls say 90% of the people support freedom of religion while at the same time 84% support the execution who anyone who renounces Islam.

It has gotten mundane now to keep pointing out how the left preaches one thing while their actions give proof of their real intentions. They, of course, are given a pass since being a hypocrite, while listed as one of the Seven Deadly Sins for conservatives, is a resume enhancer for liberals.

Funny, offensive, or both? The creative minds behind the Mercury Players Theatre said that they hope that people on all sides of the debate keep talking. Without succumbing to the violence portrayed in "The Last Supper."

Arsonist Strikes on Cape Cod, Leaves Calling Card: 'F--k the Rich'

I blame the class warfare rhetoric of the Democrats for these incidents of arson. Maybe if the left didn't demonize wealthy people so much they wouldn't stoke such hatred in their supporters.

Police and fire officials are investigating an arson fire in Sandwich that has a disturbing similarity with a suspicious incident in Barnstable.

In both cases, the arsonist left a calling card, the message, "(expletive) the rich" at the scene.

At 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 24, flames engulfed an unoccupied home still under construction at 16 Boulder Brook Road in Sandwich. Only the exterior of the house had been completed. The home, which was valued at $500,000, had a three-car garage and three bedrooms, but no plumbing or electric service, Sandwich Fire Chief George Russell said.

The heavy damage burned much of the evidence. But the state Fire Marshal's Office was recently able to rule that an arsonist had set the fire, Russell said.

The following week, on Dec. 2, incendiary devices were found at 43 Trotters Lane in Marstons Mills, law enforcement officials said.

At Trotters Lane, the message "(expletive) the rich," was clearly spray painted on a fence on the property, Barnstable police Det. John York said.

York said a similar message had been found at the Sandwich property. Sandwich officials have declined to provide details about that case.

The police were called at 10 a.m. to the Trotters Lane home, where they smelled gas and found an empty propane tank in the basement. They found burn marks upstairs, which could have been evidence of a candle or small fire that had burned itself out, York said.

In a phone interview Saturday, Joe Vaughn, who owned the Trotter's Lane house for 22 years but moved about 10 years ago to Sandwich, said he talked to his former neighbors the day the arson investigators were at the home.

Socialist blowhard Bernie Sanders was unavailable for comment.

Um, Who are the Hostage Takers?

For all the Democrat blathering about Republicans holding people hostage, they might want to look into the mirror before making any more ransom demands. Especially those in mutiny against Barack Obama.

Watching House Democrats mount the barricades this week and bare their bloody chests in a crusade to raise taxes on the wealthy would be comical if it were not so terrifying.

Carrying all the rage that seethes among angry klepto-liberals, Democrats decided yesterday to simply reject and prevent a vote on the compromise President Obama had reached with Republicans to extend the Bush tax cuts for all Americans.

Greedy rich people need to "pay their fair share," they say, as if those workers don't already pay well more than their mathematical share of taxes in this country. And damn the tax cuts for the middle class, they say, if that means that the rich people get the same breaks.

Now, Mr. President, who is holding the struggling middle class hostage for political reasons?

Indeed, and expect a role reversal come January as the Democrats and Obama become the dreaded Party of No looking to stifle Republican legislation and any relief they seek to give taxpayers.

"The White House made a deal and it's emboldened the Republicans," one Democrat whined to the Wall Street Journal -- revealing the depth of his party's delusions.

Uh, not exactly. We had this little thing last month called elections and Republicans picked up a stunning 63 seats in the House.

That is why Republicans are emboldened and that is why Obama is negotiating with them and that is why the best deal you will ever get is the one you just dismissed.

What, exactly, is the strategy of these House Democrats? To let their last act of governance be that they angrily raised taxes on everybody in the middle of a profound recession and high unemployment?

Which is exactly what they want, amazingly enough. Do they believe massive tax hikes on everyone in this economy is going to help them?

As to the left and their media enablers, can we also put an end to this ridiculous claim that anyone is getting a tax cut? Keeping in place the current tax rates that have been on the books since 2001 is not a tax cut. It's the same old, same old. Let's hope the Republicans look to provide more tax relief to the American people. That's the best way to increase revenue and it's worked every time it's been tried.

Obama's Sister Souljah Week: Or How the Angry Left Will Remain Useful Idiots

The Hill today notes how this week is shaping up as Obama's "Sister Souljah" week, as the beleaguered, petulant POTUS smacks down his core constituency in the midst of his latest meltdown.

President Obama’s liberal critics are furious, vocal and useful to a White House trying to solve the riddle of reelection.

White House officials who last year viewed the “professional left” as an annoying bunch of ungrateful idealists living in a fantasy world now see Washington’s angry liberal class as a key but unwilling or unknowing ally in the 2012 race.

In other words, these useful idiots can stomp their feet and piss and moan as much as they'd like, but let's face it, where are they going? A third party? Ha! Good luck with that. They'd only manage to lay a red carpet for a GOP coronation. A primary challenge? Again, go ahead and try. It'll only set the current Democrat Civil War into full-blown nuclear conflict. You think if Obama were ousted that the black vote will still blindly vote 95% Democrat?

Administration officials think the political and economic environment will be better for Obama and Democrats in 2012 than it was in 2010, but they know voters will still hate Washington.

Their answer is to spend the next two years running against everyone inside the Beltway, and that means both Democrats and Republicans.

The president’s tone when he announced the tax-cut deal was a public scolding of both parties, and the professional left got another lashing at Tuesday’s press conference.

Recalling the debate over the public health insurance option, Obama blasted them for choosing ideological purity over progressive results.

What this really is is a blaring billboard highlighting how immature the left is. Here they have the most far left president they could ever dream of having (after this mess, there'll never be someone so far left elected for generations) and in less than two years, when he's lurched further left than anyone ever imagine, he's still not "progressive" enough for these babies.

And it’s not just the professional left that is angry. Every Democrat in Washington who doesn’t work at the White House is mad. When, they ask, is Obama going to start fighting?

Well, the truth is Obama has started fighting. He’s just fighting everyone, including the left.

You know things are bad when the TOTUS starts turning on him. Supposedly though, there's a method to Obama's madness: Trying to make him look like a grown up. Good luck with that.

With all the children in the Washington circus screaming, Obama will look like the grown-up, officials believe.

In many ways, the next two years will feel like a dull and prolonged version of Bill Clinton’s Sister Souljah moment. The term was coined after Clinton publicly criticized the hip-hop author and activist over her comments about race.

Let's hope the angry left fades into obscurity as fast as Sister Souljah did.

Angry Left Freaking Out Over Obama: 'Boy, Their Political Instincts are Really Stupid'

Two weeks since the GOP's Congressional blowout and the angry left is still licking their wounds. From the sound of things they're ready to abandon world traveler Obama because he--get this--compromises too much with Republicans. Yes, the guy who for two years ignored the GOP is compromising too much with them.

Liberals furious with a White House they view as constantly telegraphing compromise with Republicans are pressuring President Obama to get tougher, arguing that is the only way he will win both progressives and independents in 2012.

Adam Green, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) and an outspoken critic of the White House, said liberal anger has less to do with fears of a Clintonian move to the middle by Obama and more with a misreading of the election results by the administration.

“It’s less ‘Oh no, they’re triangulating,’ and more ‘Boy, their political instincts are really stupid,’ ” said Green, who along with other liberals has blasted the White House for suggesting it would compromise with Republicans on expiring tax cuts.

The White House “fundamentally” doesn’t get that “the only way to get Republicans to deal in good faith is to fight them, crush them and teach a lesson that if Republicans are on the wrong side of an issue there will be consequences ... so it makes sense to negotiate,” Green said.

Yeah, there'll be consequences alright, like the loss of even more seats and the Senate in 2012. How's that whole "crush them" thing working out, fellas?

“Right now, every time Republicans are on the opposite side of an issue from the public, it’s the Democrats who cave and talk about ‘compromise.’ It’s ridiculous.”

While those babies were busy with their temper tantrum, defeated Democrats were busy crying on the House floor.

Freshman Rep. Debbie Halvorson (D-Ill.), who lost her reelection bid, wiped away tears as she hugged fellow members of the class of 2008, many of whom lost on Nov. 2.

Less than three feet away, ousted Nevada freshman Rep. Dina Titus (D) appeared to brush away some tears in a less obvious manner.

Their tears taste delicious.

Sean Penn Hopes His Critics 'Die Screaming of Rectal Cancer'

Keep it classy, Spicoli. Angry Hollywood liberal Sean Penn and good friend of Communist dictator Hugo Chavez lashes out at critics and wishes death upon them. How special.

Sean Penn, who has been helping relief workers in Haiti, has harsh words for the folks who think his do-gooding is an attempt to distract the world from his high profile divorce from actress Robin Wright Penn.

In an interview to air on CBS' "Sunday Morning" this weekend, Penn told journalist Lara Logan that he has been so busy in Haiti he hasn't had much time for his critics -- but he did offer a few choice words to his foes.

"Do I hope that those people die screaming of rectal cancer? Yeah," he later told Logan. "But I'm not going to spend a lot of energy on it."

Why do I get the feeling these comments will be on the cutting room floor come Sunday?

Kinky: Liberals Plan to 'Spank' Obama

After they're done spanking Obama they'll move on to spanking monkeys and choking chickens.

President Obama is days away from announcing a new Afghan strategy, but his immediate battle could come from liberals within his own party who are vowing to "spank" the president for committing tens of thousands of more troops to the eight-year conflict.

In a prime-time speech Tuesday from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Obama is expected to announce that he is sending up to 35,000 additional troops to Afghanistan beginning next year.

The figure is short of the 40,000 troops his top commander in Afghanistan, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, requested -- but enough to anger many congressional Democrats who oppose any potential troop surge, arguing that the mission is too expensive and lacks a clear objective.

"I think there will be some disillusionment within his base," said Paul Kawika Martin, political director for Peace Action, a grassroots organization, who added that thousands of activists are planning to protest following the president's announcement.

"We're going to spank him for sending more troops," he told FoxNews.com, adding that they may also "thank him" if he announces a quick exit strategy.

Massachusetts Democrat Barney Frank immediately volunteered to be spanked before and after Obama.

Even though Obama's announcement is sure to reawaken the anti-war movement, Martin said, the protests won't be as intense as they were in the Bush era because the movement has been weakened by the economic recession -- some organizations have shed up to 40 percent of staff in the past year, he said -- and is distracted by the national health care debate. He also said many members of the movement voted for Obama and trust him more than the Bush administration.

"So you don't have that same type of anger," he said.

In a classic scene from the movie "Patton", Patton's army faces off against Rommel in the African desert and at the end of the battle, in which Patton is the victor, he stands atop a hill and proclaims loudly "Rommel, you magnificent bastard, I read your book." The same could be said of the current actions of citizens all across this country who are confronting their elected officials and voicing their displeasure at the current state of affairs in Washington D.C. The liberals wrote the book on protesting and are very upset that somebody other then them would use their methods. In the business world we call that 'Best Practices'. There is no need to reinvent the wheel.



The Democrats of course don't like it too much and are trying to portray these folks as some sort of rabid crowd who are merely acting as proxies of some bigger well funded corporate entity or people who have some sort of more nefarious motivation behind their actions. They really can't stand having their tactics turned on them.

The only question that remains is how long is the old dinosaur media going to ignore them. You would think sooner or later they have got to at least mention it, but will they use the liberals talking points or just present the news?



I am sure using this sort of tactic is really going to make people sit down and shut up.

Rove On Dowd: 'This is a Dour, Downbeat Liberal'

A dour, downbeat liberal? That's a triple redundancy.

Question: Are there any happy liberals?

Former White House adviser Karl Rove lashed out at New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd on Fox News Channel Wednesday, saying Dowd was a "nasty, snarky person" with a "twisted, bitter little heart."

"I think Maureen Dowd is a bitter, twisted, deranged columnist for the New York Times who misses no opportunity to show her disdain for the conservative side of the aisle," Rove said on Fox News Channel.

"I actually went to an editorial board meeting at the New York Times and wasted a couple bucks on some flowers to give Maureen Dowd…give her a smile on her face. And that didn't even work," he recalled. "This is a dour, downbeat liberal."
