Obama: 'Shovel-ready Was Not As ... Uh .. Shovel-ready As We Expected'

This guy's a regular laugh riot. Hey, remember that trillion dollars we spent on shovel-ready projects? Ha! There weren't any, suckers!

Ba dum bum.

And the audience laps it up.
President Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness met today in Durham, NC at Cree Inc., a company that manufactures energy-efficient LED lighting. One of the Council's recommendations to President Obama was to streamline the federal permit process for construction and infrastructure projects. It was explained to Obama that the permitting process can delay projects for "months to years ... and in many cases even cause projects to be abandoned ... I'm sure that when you implemented the Recovery Act your staff briefed you on many of these challenges." At this point, Obama smiled and interjected, "Shovel-ready was not as ... uh .. shovel-ready as we expected." The Council, led by GE's Jeffrey Immelt, erupted in laughter.
I guess you could say it was unexpected.

I got one for ya, Jammie. Picture this- a large company wants to exapnd production beyond it's main facility in a union state and decides to set up shop in a right-to-work state.

You'd think the NLRB would be all over that one, wouldn't you.

Apparently not when it's Immelt's GE. Per the Ft. Worth Star Telegram: General Electric to Build Locomotives in North Ft Worth.

And yet the same dumb-ass fifty-three percent of Americans who voted for this lying POS in 2008 would vote for him again. That little stat doesn't speak well for Americans. We've been fooled by this fucker. Let's not have it happen again.

And BTW, let's take a shovel and bury Ovomit with the rest of the cat and dog shit. Now that's what I call "shovel ready".

This should be run as a GOP ad campaign-Extreme ignorance and arrogance in one brief clip.

Here's someone who's gonna be "shovel ready" as soon as the election count in 2012 is finished. Yeah yeah, I know, we're gonna have to wait until his successor is sworn in. But as far as I'm concerned you can start packing now mr Ovomit.

You too will be out of a job and then it will be back to the Affirmative Action programs that got you this far and corporate welfare for wages the rest of your sorry life mr president.

Or I guess you can get a job community organizing somewhere. You sure as hell aren't gonna be able to claim your experience as president on your resume. You didn't/won't do anything constructive in the four years you were in office.

I guess Immelt and the rest of the fuckers in President Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness really thought the term "shovel ready" was funny. I have news for you scumbags, no one out here in the real world is cracking up at the things that seem to amuse you. You're all gonna be looking for new jobs in the next two years. Then I will be busting a gut. Until then the council, Immelt, and Ovomit can kiss my arse.
