“I strongly condemn President Ahmadinejad’s outrageous remarks at the United Nations, and am disappointed that he had a platform to air his hateful and anti-Semitic views. The threat from Iran’s nuclear program is grave. Now is the time for Americans to unite on behalf of the strong sanctions that are needed to increase pressure on the Iranian regime.Uh, so where was he before the speech?
Oh, that's right, he and his minions were busy trying to prevent Sarah Palin from speaking at a rally Monday, though here is what she would have said, in language much more forceful and authentic that an after-the-fact statement written by some handlers.
After all, it was just a few months ago when Obama dismissed Iran as a virtual nonentity.
"Strong countries and strong Presidents talk to their adversaries. That's what Kennedy did with Khrushchev. That's what Reagan did with Gorbachev. That's what Nixon did with Mao. I mean think about it. Iran, Cuba, Venezuela – these countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union...They don't pose a serious threat to us the way the Soviet Union posed a threat to us.But the real whopper comes now when he has the unmitigated audacity to pretend as if he's out front on the issue and has the gall to call for McCain to stop playing politics.
“Once again, I call upon Senator McCain to join me in supporting a bipartisan bill to increase pressure on the Iranian regime by allowing states and private companies to divest from companies doing business in Iran. The security of our ally Israel is too important to play partisan politics, and it is deeply disappointing that Senator McCain and a few of his allies in Congress feel otherwise,” said Senator Barack Obama.Excuse me, but when has he ever called for pressure on Iran?

Obviously, his sycophantic press legions will ignore this gross distortion of reality as they freak out over Sarah Palin yet again.
So the freaky little Islamonazi can spew his bilge all he wants and Obama can play make believe with the facts, but all most of the media wants to talk about is why they didn't all get to pile in the room while Palin met with some heads of state. Something they had a curious lack of interest in while Obama met in private with world leaders.
It's really a shame the psychopathic leader from another tiny country, Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, didn't come and rant on the world stage. It would be amusing to see Obama criticize the comrade of his friend Bill Ayers. Why, it was less than two years ago when Ayers greeted the Communist gathering.
President Hugo Chavez, Vice-President Vicente Rangel, Ministers Moncada and Isturiz, invited guests, comrades. I’m honored and humbled to be here with you this morning. I bring greetings and support from your brothers and sisters throughout Northamerica. Welcome to the World Education Forum! Amamos la revolucion Bolivariana!Must have been some fine education at that Annenberg Challenge.
This is my fourth visit to Venezuela, each time at the invitation of my comrade and friend Luis Bonilla, a brilliant educator and inspiring fighter for justice. Luis has taught me a great deal about the Bolivarian Revolution and about the profound educational reforms underway here in Venezuela under the leadership of President Chavez. We share the belief that education is the motor-force of revolution, and I’ve come to appreciate Luis as a major asset in both the Venezuelan and the international struggle—I look forward to seeing how he and all of you continue to overcome the failings of capitalist education as you seek to create something truly new and deeply humane. Thank you, Luis, for everything you’ve done.
Despite having authored two autobiographies, Barack Obama has never written about his most important executive experience. From 1995 to 1999, he led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), and remained on the board until 2001. The group poured more than $100 million into the hands of community organizers and radical education activists.Read on. It's devastating.
The CAC was the brainchild of Bill Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground in the 1960s. Among other feats, Mr. Ayers and his cohorts bombed the Pentagon, and he has never expressed regret for his actions. Barack Obama's first run for the Illinois State Senate was launched at a 1995 gathering at Mr. Ayers's home.
Who has Obama never been asked about this?
