How could you ever forget
this face?
Mason Reese is back.
Who? Well, if you don't remember him, then you probably weren't around in the early 1970s.
The cherub-faced, fire-haired child actor was the king of TV pitchmen before he even reached puberty -- most famous for doing commercials for Underwood Deviled Ham, in which his adorable "borgasmord" mispronunciation of smorgasbord charmed the nation.
Today, the 44-year-old New Yorker is about to start a new business in the East Village, an Avenue A lounge called Destination Bar and Grille.
"I've always enjoyed nightlife, I've always found it to be really magical," he told The Post.
He said he has no regrets about his time in the limelight in the early 1970s, when he appeared on the Mike Douglas talk show and graced the cover of TV Guide (inset).
As Reese grew up in the 1980s, he became a regular on the New York club scene, passing the velvet rope each night at hot spots like China Club and Limelight, where he says he lost his virginity to the women's bathroom attendant.
Ah, the glory days. Of course, not everyone remembers him fondly.
Reese, who lives on the Upper West Side, says the worst thing that ever happened to him as a former actor occurred when he was in the bathroom of a club.
"A guy comes out of the bathroom stall and smacks me right in the back of the head and said, 'I never did like your f- - -ing commercials anyway,' " he said.
