MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Senator John McCain's daughter is scheduled to speak at Middle Tennessee State University on Wednesday night.

Meghan McCain, author of Dirty Sexy Politics, is scheduled to speak 7 p.m. in room 221 of the MTSU Learning Resource Center.

McCain is slated to discuss the incivility of political discourse in the United States, including the discourse surrounding gay right issues.

Her appearance at the Murfreesboro university is sponsored by Scholars Week and by MTLamnda, which is an organization that strives to support and raise awareness about the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.

Wednesday night's event is free and open to the public.

Free admission? Good call. At least that way the audience can't demand a refund.
