The convention is being run by the Safari Club International. No doubt some lefty kooks will probably show up to picket or something. I can already see the Palin-hating media lining up to bash her every word.
Let the quivering and trembling begin.
The address comes amid a debate in Congress over gun rights that followed the shootings of 20 people at a meet-and-greet event for Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.). Palin's speech will likely be watched to see if she references the Arizona shooting, which left six dead and 14 wounded, including Giffords. Not sure where they got this "debate in Congress over gun rights" nonsense. There is no debate and there hasn't been any business in Congress this week. Sure, the gun grabbers want to capitalize on a tragedy, but they won't be getting anywhere. As to "causing more controversy" with he video this week the only controversy it caused was ginned up by the media and left who harp on her every word.
Palin was drawn into the debate after liberals criticized materials on her political action committee's web site, which in calling for the defeat of Giffords and other Democrats put their districts in the cross hairs of a rifle. Palin defended herself with a lengthy message on Facebook this week that ended up causing more controversy. Her message came out the day of a Memorial service for the victims of the shooting, and her use of the term "blood libel" also created a firestorm.
