Hmm: Author Claims Man Arrested in Massachusetts Was Iraqi Associated With Tim McVeigh

Stories about other associated with Tim McVeigh have made the rounds over the years and I recall wanted photos at the time had a suspect who never materialized.

Could it possibly be this guy?
The author of a book on the Oklahoma City bombing says a homeless man arrested in Quincy on Wednesday is the same man identified by several witnesses to the bombing as having been with Timothy McVeigh on the day of the deadly attack.

Quincy Police on Thursday spoke with the author and notified the FBI of the arrest of Hussain Al-Hussaini for slashing a man’s face with a beer bottle.

Capt. John Dougan said the man arrested in Quincy on Wednesday has the same name as a man featured prominently in the 2004 book “The Third Terrorist: The Middle East Con nection to the Oklahoma City Bombing.”

Both Dougan and the author of the Oklahoma City book said the man arrested in Quincy also has a tattoo on his arm that matches the description of one on the arm of the man in the book.

“His age, his name, the picture, the mugshot, that’s him,” the author of “The Third Terrorist,” Jayna Davis, told The Patriot Ledger in a telephone interview.

Davis said she saw the Al- Hussaini she wrote about during depositions for a libel suit he brought against her.

Davis said the Al-Hussaini she wrote about is a former Iraqi solider who was seen with McVeigh in the weeks before Oklahoma City and on April 19, 1995, the day of the bombing, which killed 168 people.

McVeigh was executed for his role in the bombing. The Al-Hussaini seen with him was never charged.

The Al-Hussaini arrested by the Quincy police is 45 years old and is being held on $500 bail on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He is also being held for a pro bation violation.
It would never have made much sense for the feds to have ignored any role this guy may have had. Unless of course they wanted to believe Bill Clinton's fiction that it was all a result of talk radio.

Back during the 1990s the suspect was called John Doe No. 2, and the mystery was supposedly resolved. From a 1997 NY Times report:
John Doe No. 2, thick-necked, square-jawed and dark became one of the most recognized faces in America. Federal agents and police officers questioned dozens of lookalikes and received more than 10,000 tips. By June 1995, however, Federal investigators realized they were mistaken. The description matched a soldier with no connection to the bombing, Pvt. Todd Bunting of the Army, who had come into the truck rental shop the day after Mr. McVeigh.
Another account from Jayna Davis.
"Nearly two dozen Oklahomans have signed sworn affidavits in which they accuse these ardent Saddam supporters and ex-enemy combatants of aiding and abetting McVeigh and Nichols during critical stages of the bombing plot.

"The most incriminating testimony centered around one man - Hussain Hashem Al-Hussaini. Al-Hussaini not only fit the FBI's physical description in the official arrest warrant for John Doe 2, but according to veteran law enforcement officials, was a dead ringer for the government's profile sketch of the elusive suspect.

"Witnesses identified this Iraqi immigrant socializing with McVeigh at an Oklahoma City nightclub prior to the bombing. An Oklahoma City gas station attendant also fingered Al-Hussaini as the customer who paid one hundred dollars cash to fill up a large Ryder truck with diesel fuel (the key chemical component used in Ryder truck bomb) on eve of the bombing - April 18, 1995.

Nothing to see here, move along. Nobody want's to admit an Iraqi connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing.

With Hillary Clinton at the State Dept., this will, I promise, go nowhere.

They may have been secretly smug for awhile about helping to level one of our buildings and killing our people, but 2003 would be the "Karma Chicken" coming home to roost year for them when we took over their whole damn country.  As Tony Stark said in Iron Man..."Should they respect us or fear us?  Why not have both!"
