Campaigner-in-Chief Hits 41% in Gallup

His handmaiden media keeps reminding us how he's a virtual shoo-in for re-election.

Not with these numbers.
The latest Gallup Daily tracking three-day average shows 41% of Americans approving of the job Barack Obama is doing as president. That ties his low as president, which he registered three times previously -- twice in August 2010 and once in October 2010.
At the rate gas prices are going he'll be at 35% by Memorial Day.
Obama's low ratings could be due to the still-struggling economic recovery and rising gas prices, which Gallup says have traditionally driven down presidents' approval.
Independents have virtually abandoned him.
But the president has a lot of work to do with Independents. Obama only receives 35 percent approval from the key voting bloc, nine points off his average for the group in 2011.
But don't worry, Bammy. Some bootlicker media outfit will concoct a poll over the weekend and that'll have you at 50% or some, so relax, play a little golf. God know you're exhausted from all this week's fundraising.

Sadly the media will only continue to cover for our president. If the world was truly fair we would be reading headlines like this today:

Oh my these "polls" are a laugh riot. I don't suppose Gallup mentioned the fact they asked the poll questions up in Berkely at the headquarters of the ACLU. Yep - a real fact driven and honest poll. I await the next one with girded loins. Can you say the word "manipulation" and not laugh? What a riot.
