All Of a Sudden The Left Is Quoting Karl Rove

Karl Rove offered a mild criticism of the McCain campaign today and the leftwing blogs are having a sustained orgasm.
Former Bush campaign guru Karl Rove said Sunday that both campaigns’ attacks have “gone one step too far,” adding that some McCain spots go “beyond the 100-percent-truth test.”

“Both campaigns ought to be careful about it. They ought to — there ought to be an adult who says, ‘Do we really need to go that far in this ad? Don’t we make our point and won’t we get broader acceptance and deny the opposition an opportunity to attack us if we don’t include that one little last tweak in the ad?’” Rove told Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday.
Now a man vilified by the left for years is all of a sudden a go-to source for quotes.
Wow. This is a bit like being labeled a sleaze merchant by Bob Guccione or Larry Flynt.
Apaprently the Obama people missed the part where Rove criticized both campaigns and released this breathtakingly absurd statement.
"In case anyone was still wondering whether John McCain is running the sleaziest, most dishonest campaign in history, today Karl Rove -- the man who held the previous record -- said McCain's ads have gone too far."
This coming from the same people who ridicule the disabled McCain for being unable to use computers much, trashing him for being too old and who've spent the better part of two weeks savaging Sarah Palin.

This idiot says he can never trust Rove, but now he will.

And they talk about McCain being dishonest.
