Here's one item that seems bound to replace vacuum cleaners and kitchen appliances as the least romantic holiday gift to give your lover.
Ironically, it comes in the form of sheer, lacy lingerie from Brazil. But once your lady sees the GPS tracking device attached to the silky underthings, she's likely to disappear for good.
Courtesy of LindeLucy Lingerie designer Lucia Iorio, the “Find Me If You Can” line comes equipped with a pager-sized GPS that allows those with the password to track the wearer's whereabouts online. The black box is sewn into the bodice of the lingerie and is clearly visible.
Sounds like a dream come true for controlling boyfriends everywhere, but Iorio insists her product isn't the feminist nightmare some perceive it to be.
"This collection ... is a wink to women and a challenge to men because, even if she gives him the password to her GPS, she can always turn it off," Iorio told AFP. "She can be found only if she wants to [be].
