The Next Book for the Left to Flip Out Over

Oh my. By the time this rolls around hopefully the frothing hatred over Sarah Palin's book will have hopefully subsided. Although at the current rate of hyperventilating, apoplectic rage being demonstrated by the tolerant left, many of them may have succumbed to massive coronaries by then. It's funny, isn't it, how the relentlessly upbeat and cheery Palin inspires such rage and antipathy from her very angry detractors? Maybe we can have some government-subsidized anger management classes for them to enroll in. They sure need it.

Anyway, today's good news, sure to inspire more insipid calls for newly classified bestseller rankings.

Karl Rove memoir coming in March
Karl Rove's memoir has a title, "Courage and Consequence," and a release date — March 9, 2010.

Rove, the mastermind of George W. Bush's two successful presidential runs and a top White House aide, signed in 2007 with Threshold Editions, a conservative imprint of Simon & Schuster that has published best sellers by commentators Glenn Beck and Mark Levin.

Threshold also will release former Vice President Dick Cheney's memoir.

"Courage and Consequence," according to Threshold, "frankly responds to critics, passionately articulates his political philosophy and openly explains the reasons behind his decisions in campaigns and the White House."

Rove, who became synonymous with ruthless but effective campaign tactics, said in a statement Threshold issued Wednesday that his book would be "a frank account of what I witnessed and my often-controversial role."
No word yet how large an army of "fact-checkers" the AP will deploy in advance of this release, although fresh job cuts there may force them to scale back.

First lefty clown to blow a gasket over this? My money is on Mr. Tingles.
