What, you expected him to pay homage to our Founding Fathers? Besides, they were all just some rich, old corporatists looking for a tax cut.President Obama used his weekly address to reiterate his demand for ending tax breaks for "millionaires and billionaires" in any budget deal to raise the nation's debt limit.Even after the ridicule of his absurd statements on "corporate jet owners," he still goes back to the same shtick.
"It would be nice if we could keep every tax break, but we can’t afford them," Obama said. "Because if we choose to keep those tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires, or for hedge fund managers and corporate jet owners, or for oil and gas companies pulling in huge profits without our help – then we’ll have to make even deeper cuts somewhere else."
The president said that students, medical researchers and seniors would pay the price if those tax breaks were not taken away.
"That isn’t right, and it isn’t smart," he said. "We’ve got to cut the deficit, but we can do that while making investments in education, research, and technology that actually create jobs."
Of course a decrease in taxes and burdensome regulations would create plenty of jobs, but why allow the private sector to work when government can do no wrong?

So, why did Mr Obama personally take a $22,000 Foreign Tax Credit on his own tax return in April? That's $22,000 he subtracted from his United States tax bill saying he'd paid that much in tax to foreign governments on his income (mostly from book sales). He had well over $1 Million in income alone in 2010.
Mr Obama is talkng about himself when he sneers about "milllionaires" abusing "tax loopholes" that hurt the country. Who does that? Even Bono is being challenged for such hypocrisy but Mr Obama is given a pass on it each year.
Interesting that he says the oil and gas companies bringing in profit "without our help" so now companies making a profit can only be those "with our help?"
As a private citizen I will help by spending money wisely with companies and businesses who have not taken any obama stimulus. But I know the "our" means government to him!
