Commenters at the Politico are freaking out over this.
The vote Angle cited was an amendment offered to the major health care bill by Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) in hopes of killing it. While the amendment sought to prevent the sale of Viagra to sexual predators using health care funds, there was no portion of the bill authorizing funds to provide the drug to sex offenders to begin with.Indeed, probably not the best line of attack considering Reid can be pummeled on a thousand different votes.
Democrats voted to table the amendment in order to continue consideration of the full measure.
Angle, meanwhile, has increased her lead to 50-46. Looks like Reid's campaign could use some Viagra. Any incumbents under 50% at this juncture are in deep trouble.
