Lego My Terrorist

What little jihadist wouldn't want one of these?
A range of Lego-style figures including an al-Qaeda terrorist and Nazi officer have been slammed by religious leaders for 'glorifying terrorism.'

One of the children's toys - made from customised Lego men - resembles a masked follower of Osama bin Laden complete with a rocket launcher, assault rifle and grenades.

Another of the warped figures is a gun-wielding German major, whose uniform bears the SS insignia, which can be bought along with a replica Nazi stormtrooper.

Mohammed Shaffiq of Muslim organisation The Ramadhan Foundation told The Sun the figures were 'absolutely disgusting'.

He said: 'It is glorifying terrorism - the makers should be ashamed. We should be coming together to unite against terrorism but how is that possible when children are playing with toys like this?'

Edie Friedman, director of the Jewish Council for Racial Equality, added: 'These distasteful toys are something we could all well do without, especially when there is so much tension around.'

The two-and-a-half inch figures are customised from Lego toys by the American makers BrickArms who claim to have sold tens of thousands of them in 35 countries.
What a lovely array of weaponry BrickArms offers. Nothing like a mini RPG or a frag grenade for the tykes.
