Michelle Obama's Fashion Funeral: Tank Top For Tea Time

While most of the media gushes like Oprah of this woman, at least one fashion scribe gets it right.

THE occasion was momentous and fashion hopes were high, but when Michelle Obama met the queen yesterday, she wore her office sweater.

The Obamas, in London on the first stop of their European trip, joined Her Majesty for tea at Buckingham Palace.

Tea at the palace in April. Florals perhaps? Something tea length?

Britain's sovereign looked fresh and spring-like in a pink dress, but Mrs. Obama, grin notwithstanding, looked more like she was on her way to a funeral.

And a fashion funeral it was.

At first glance, the outfit looks like a skirt and a T-shirt and a sweater.

When Mrs. Obama removed the cardigan (top photo), it became clearer that it was, oh good, a tank top, not a T-shirt.

A tank top?

These people are clueless.
