Worst Cover Song Ever

Indeed, this is horrific.
French-Canadian chanteuse Celine Dion is responsible for the world's worst cover version -- a rendition of rockers AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" -- Total Guitar magazine said in a poll.

Dion has never released the song as a single but performed what the magazine called the "offence" against music at a Las Vegas concert six years ago in a duet with Anastacia.

"The number one worst cover song -- Celine Dion covering AC/DC -- is sacrilege," said the magazine's editor, Stephen Lawson. "The best covers are unlikely choices and they do something radical."

Clips of Dion and Anastacia rocking are available on the Internet video-sharing website YouTube. One of the comments that doesn't use strong language read: "My poor ears."
This one also made the list. So bad it's good. Clearly, a cheesy spoof.

Pantsuit Chooses Theme Song From a Canadian

Fishwrap has the details.

I guess all of those who suggested "Bitch" were voted down.
In a riff on the final Sopranos episode, Hillary and Bill Clinton announced in a Web video her campaign theme song will be "You and I" by Celine Dion.

Watch the video yourself, and appreciate the cameo appearance by now-dead Sopranos mobster Johnny "Sack" Sacramoni, (played by Vince Curatola). Earlier this month, Fishwrap readers offered their suggestions, but Clinton (D-NY) opted for something a bit more mellow.
Singing the sappy songs Americans just won't sing.

If they're going to riff on The Sopranos, why don't the two of them just fade to black?
