Discredited Gore Acolyte: Obama Has Four Years to Save the Earth

Even by absurd global warming hysteria standards, this is just so stupid to be taken seriously. Do these chicken littles realize they no longer have any credibility?
Barack Obama has only four years to save the world. That is the stark assessment of Nasa scientist and leading climate expert Jim Hansen who last week warned only urgent action by the new president could halt the devastating climate change that now threatens Earth. Crucially, that action will have to be taken within Obama's first administration, he added.

Soaring carbon emissions are already causing ice-cap melting and threaten to trigger global flooding, widespread species loss and major disruptions of weather patterns in the near future. "We cannot afford to put off change any longer," said Hansen. "We have to get on a new path within this new administration. We have only four years left for Obama to set an example to the rest of the world. America must take the lead."
Of course, Hansen must ignore the fact we're currently cooling, the ice caps are not melting and we're discovering new species. But why quibble with the facts when you can make people hysterical?

Hansen has been abusing the public trust for over 20 years. Why would anyone continue listening to this maniac?

Global Warming Scammer Wants to Put Oil Company Executives on Trial

We're getting into really dangerous territory when people want to put those who disagree with them on trial.

James Hansen has been exposed as a two-bit fraud along with Al Gore for perpetrating one of the greatest hoaxes ever, yet I don't see anyone urging they be put on trial. Mercilessly ridiculed, yes; but charged with crimes?

Perhaps they should be sued for fraud, but put on trial?
James Hansen, one of the world's leading climate scientists, will today call for the chief executives of large fossil fuel companies to be put on trial for high crimes against humanity and nature, accusing them of actively spreading doubt about global warming in the same way that tobacco companies blurred the links between smoking and cancer.

Hansen will use the symbolically charged 20th anniversary of his groundbreaking speech to the US Congress - in which he was among the first to sound the alarm over the reality of global warming - to argue that radical steps need to be taken immediately if the "perfect storm" of irreversible climate change is not to become inevitable.

Speaking before Congress again, he will accuse the chief executive officers of companies such as ExxonMobil and Peabody Energy of being fully aware of the disinformation about climate change they are spreading.

In an interview with the Guardian he said: "When you are in that kind of position, as the CEO of one the primary players who have been putting out misinformation even via organisations that affect what gets into school textbooks, then I think that's a crime."
Well, sorry, Mr. Hansen, just because you think it's crime, doesn't make it so.

The astonishing arrogance of these global warming freaks never ceases to amaze. It's when these true believers disregard any science disputing them and become drunk with power they become very dangerous.

It's clear Gore, Hanson and their ilk have no use for free speech. They could use a refresher.

Naturally, the media is lapping up his nonsense.

Goracle Mentor Issues Hysterical New Report

With much fanfare and dire warnings, ABC News has a report out citing a paper from James Hansen, director of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York.
Even "moderate additional" greenhouse emissions are likely to push Earth past "critical tipping points" with "dangerous consequences for the planet," according to research conducted by NASA and the Columbia University Earth Institute.

With just 10 more years of "business as usual" emissions from the burning of coal, oil and gas, says the NASA/Columbia paper, "it becomes impractical" to avoid "disastrous effects."
Oh no, the tipping point!
As the tipping points pass, "there is an acceleration, potentially uncontrollable, of emissions of vast natural stores of greenhouse gas," according to Hansen, who reviewed the study for ABC News today.

Hansen explains that dangerous feedback loops are being tracked in various regions of the planet.
Now one would think that since Hansen is of such high repute that ABC rushes this story out, they would tell a bit more about Hansen and his agenda. After all, they are major news outlet with bottomless resources and supposedly don't have any agenda (OK, stop laughing).

Well, a simple search let's us know just who James Hansen is.
As NASA scientist James Hansen, Al Gore's mentor on the global warming issue, concluded, "Empirical evidence does not lend much support to the notion that climate is headed precipitately toward more extreme heat and drought."
If Hansen has as little credibility as Gore, then this "report" is a worthless, agenda-driven study paid for by taxpayers.

Curious how ABC doesn't even mention Hansen's ties to Gore, isn't it?
