'Red' Ken Livingstone Gets Backing of Islamist Suicide Bomb Advocates

Talk about your Leftist-Islamist convergence. Here we've got the Communist Mayor of London proudly posing with a psychotic Islamist who promotes mass murder by suicide bombing.

If this doesn't roust the Brits from their slumber, then they're beyond hope.
An advocate of suicide bombing is among leaders of a group trying to mobilise Muslim voters to back Ken Livingstone, it was reported today.

For the past year, the group has been working on a strategy to win an estimated 200,000 Muslim votes in an effort to re-elect the Mayor, the Evening Standard claims.

It includes a campaign of vilification aimed at his Conservative rival, Boris Johnson. It is being waged by Muslims 4 Ken, led by 39-year-old lecturer Anas Altikriti and Palestinian-born Azzam Tamimi, a supporter of Hamas, the militant group dedicated to the creation of an Islamic state of Palestine.

While Mr Altikriti says he abhors violence and favours dialogue to further the Muslim cause, Mr Tamimi has praised suicide bombers and said he would volunteer for a suicide mission in Palestine.

"For us Muslims martyrdom is not the end of things, but the beginning of the most wonderful of things," he has said. "If I can go to Palestine and sacrifice myself I would do it. Why not?"

Muslims 4 Ken moves into overdrive this week after months of lobbying for Mr Livingstone among Muslim community leaders, in mosques and among political organisations.
Somehow I doubt Rudy Giuliani would have accepted endorsements from Islamists had he been running again for Mayor of New York City. The notion of Livingstone posing with Islamists and accepting endorsements from the type of people who murdered the people of his own city just a couple of years ago is sickening.

Radical Egyptian Cleric Urges Corpse to Surrender

Naturally, he's skeptical Osama bin Laden actually perpetrated the 9/11 terrorist attacks and just wants him to come forward so a fair court can judge him.

I guess if that court is packed with Troofers, Kos Kidz and HuffPosters, he probably stands to be acquitted.
The Egyptian cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who is also a preacher on the Arab satellite television network Al Jazeera, has called on al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden to surrender.

"I ask Osama bin Laden to surrender and to hand himself over to an international tribunal in order to respond to the charge that he ordered the attacks of September 11," said al-Qaradawi in an interview with the Arab newspaper al-Sharq al-Awsat.

According to the well-known Muslim scholar, it is still not established "in a definitive way by the American secret services in their reports," of bin Laden's responsibility in the attacks that occurred in New York and Washington in 2001.

For this reason, he calls on bin Laden to surrender and allow himself to be judged, with the hope that he will find himeself in front of a fair court that will be able to also judge other al-Qaeda terrorists.

"I would also like to tell the American president George W. Bush that his country committed the same errors as the terrorists when it attacked Afghanistan with the excuse of hunting [bin Laden] and instead killed children and innocent people," said al-Qaradawi.

He said that terrorism cannot be fought with a war on a vast scale,"but by treating the causes of terrorism because even if Osama bin Laden is killed, thousands of others like him will come forward if the problems are not resolved."
Left out of the story, naturally, is the fact this creature al-Qaradawi supports terror himself.
Sheik Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a radical Muslim Brotherhood ideologue based in Qatar, has garnered worldwide appeal through a wide network of associations and by making use of various media outlets. Through his speeches and writings, Qaradawi has demonstrated consistent support of terrorist groups that seek to undermine both a peaceful resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and, more broadly, reform and democracy in the Middle East.

Qaradawi has a long record of endorsing Palestinian suicide bombings against Israeli civilians. For example, during a July 2007 conference held in his honor in Doha, Qatar, titled "Imam al-Qaradawi: A Forum for Students and Friends," Qaradawi reiterated his support for suicide bombing and terrorist groups. "I support the Palestinian cause. I support the resistance and the jihad," Qaradwi said according to MEMRI. "I support Hamas, the Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah. I oppose the peace that Israel and America wish to dictate. This peace is an illusion. I support martyrdom operations."

Jihad Etiquette

Good grief.

Only the nitwits at The New York Times could come up with something so absurd.
With Islamist violence brewing in various parts of the world, the set of rules that seek to guide and justify the killing that militants do is growing more complex.

This jihad etiquette is not written down, and for good reason. It varies as much in interpretation and practice as extremist groups vary in their goals. But the rules have some general themes that underlie actions ranging from the recent rash of suicide bombings in Algeria and Somalia, to the surge in beheadings and bombings by separatist Muslims in Thailand.

Some of these rules have deep roots in the Middle East, where, for example, the Egyptian Islamic scholar Yusuf al-Qaradawi has argued it is fine to kill Israeli citizens because their compulsory military service means they are not truly civilians.
Who knew exploding Muslims could be so mannerly?
