AWOL Muslim Arrested: Suspect In Planned Terror Attack at Ft. Hood

Fox News broke a story earlier about a possible planned terrorist attack on Ft. Hood and in the early reporting they stated that three people were under arrest but were withholding the names. Well, the first name has come out and to nobody's surprise he is a Muslim, but he is also a soldier with a long track record in the public eye.



In addition to the CNN report above he also gave interviews to Al-Jazeera and anybody else wishing to listen to this pathetic loser's sob story.

Back in 2010, after serving for over an year, and upon his unit at Ft. Campbell receiving deployment orders to Afghanistan, he got in touch with his inner Muslim and decided to apply for Conscientious Objector status based upon Islam being such a peaceful religion and all. These sort of claims always crack me up, and in this guy's case even more so. You see, the guy is in the Infantry, which are the bomb dodgers, bullet catchers, baby makers and widow makers of the Army. This can be gleaned from the HLN video attached by the blue rope around his right soldier. Only Infantry soldiers are allowed to wear it.

I should know, I wore one for 22 years. I would have thought in a post-9/11 world with the US Military engaged in two active wars in Muslim countries that somewhere during his 15 weeks of training at Ft. Benning that he just might have got a clue that he could be called upon to fight in one of these wars.

Well, anyway, while his CO status case was going through the process he decided to go AWOL and apparently fled to the Ft. Hood area, where he found a sympathetic band of losers who operate a coffee shop just outside the main gate and assist AWOL soldiers in hiding out and provide legal assistance to them. Meanwhile, back at Ft. Campbell, investigators who were going through his computer found some kiddie porn, which of course is perfectly acceptable in the Muslim faith, seeing as their great leader was a pedophile himself.

We will have to see how this story plays out over the next hours and days, and keep in mind there are still two more soldiers who have been arrested in this alleged plot.

UPDATE: Reuters now reports that the FBI say he was arrested with bomb making material.

A missing U.S. Army soldier is expected to face federal charges on Thursday after he was arrested with "bomb-making material" in his hotel room near Fort Hood, Texas, a local FBI agent said.

Islam Edging Closer To Being Classified as a Mental Disease

We all knew this was coming. It is one of the favorite tactics of defense lawyers and that is to get their clients classified as having some sort of mental disorder in order to avoid the harsher penalties that may be passed on them.

Here are two more case studies to promote this cause.

Remember the guy in Arizona who ran down his daughter because he thought she was too westernized? Yup, his lawyer is pushing for a mental evaluation.

An Iraqi immigrant accused of killing his 20-year-old daughter because he believed she had become too westernized doesn't understand court proceedings and may need a mental-health evaluation, his lawyer said Wednesday.

And, of course, lawyers for the Ft. Hood mass murderer are also trying to do the same thing.

The attorney for the Fort Hood shootings suspect says his client will be evaluated next month to determine his mental status that day and whether he's competent to stand trial.

I have thought for a long time that followers of Islam were nuts. I mean, come on, when your big ambition in life is to strap explosives to your body and blow up a bunch of innocent people in the hopes of getting 72 virgins, your thought process has to be slightly screwy.

Ft. Hood Jihadist Has One Less Phone Call To Make

Word is coming out today that an imam the Ft. Hood jihadist had ties to received an early Christmas present courtesy of a Predator drone.

The radical Muslim imam linked to the rampage at Fort Hood reportedly is believed to have been killed in a Yemen airstrike that may have also taken out the region's top Al Qaeda leader and 30 other militants.

The raid in Yemen's east targeted an Al Qaeda leadership meeting held to organize terror attacks. U.S. officials believe radical cleric Anwar Awlaki was "probably" killed in the strike, a source confirmed to FOX News.

While so many in our media and indeed inside our own Defense Department and Department of Justice continue to twist themselves into pretzels trying to find some social ill to explain away Nidal Hassan's mass murder, they apparently continue to execute missions which strike at the root of the problem, and it ain't getting PTSD by osmosis like so many of Hassan's defenders would have you believe.

Al-Awlaki said he lauded the Fort Hood attack because it was aimed at troops, whom he accused of fighting an unjust war against Islam.

"It is a military target inside America and there is no dispute over that," he said. "Also, these military personnel are not ordinary; they were trained and ready to fight and kill oppressed Muslims and commit crimes in Afghanistan."

Despite his approval, Al-Awlaki said his role was only limited to Hasan's thought process, adding that he'd "be honored if I had a bigger role."

On the other hand, if you are a friend of Hassan's you might want to make sure that caller ID feature is working on your phone. I'm not sure I would answer a call from this guy since it just might be a possibility that the GPS coordinates are then uploaded to a circling UAV.

Early this week Hassan's lawyer was whining about the fact that his client wasn't being allowed to pray over the phone in Arabic if there was no translator in the room. I guess that problem is solved now, huh?

Fort Hood Heroine

God only knows how bad the carnage would have been yesterday at Ft Hood if not for the actions of police Sgt Kim Munley. She was the police officer who charged into the building, confronted the Muslim killer and delivered 4 shots on target to take him down and receiving a gun shot wound herself.

[General]Cone said Munley's aggressive response training taught her that "if you act aggressively to take out a shooter you will have less fatalities."

Reports say she should recover and I wish to send along my well wishes and gratitude for her actions.

Not all heroes are 6'5" Arnold Swartzenegger clones.

UPDATE: Apparently this is not the first time that Officer Munley has been at the right place at the right time.

While Appler was talking to the driver of the vehicle, a third man approached the detective and interjected himself into the discussion. Appler said he asked the third man to leave, when he didn’t, the detective tried to arrest him.

A struggle ensued, and the two men eventually rolled down a hill. When they came to a stop, the man was straddling Appler, reaching for the handgun holstered on the detective’s belt.

Suddenly, Munley appeared, leaped onto the man’s back, yanked him off of Appler and forced him into handcuffs.

At that point, Appler said, he heard the theme to Mighty Mouse playing over in his head: “Here I come to save the day.”

From that time forward, Appler called Munley: “Mighty Mouse.”

This happened when she was an officer in Wrightsville Beach, NC.

Why Isn't CBS Advertising This Townhall Meeting?

On Monday, 11 August, there is going to be a big townhall meeting in the Ft. Hood, TX area made up of active and former military members as well as their families. CBS has agreed to air it live form 9 to 11 PM. Senator McCain will be there but Barry O will be vacation in Hawaii, like the rest of the Democrat party. The one theme that could sum up the Democrats is on vacation. Or out to lunch.

I went to the CBS main website to get information on the show and their website does not list this event. Instead their lineup for that night shows Two and a Half Men, Adventures of Christine, and CSI Miami. I checked some of the other links thinking that maybe it just wasn't updated on the main page but I could find no mention of it. So is CBS going to air the program or not? If they are, why aren't they promoting it? I don't watch enough television to know if they have shown any commercial concerning the show or not.

So I am calling on all the blogger community and will reach out to the #dontgo crowd to try and get the word out.

Okay Republicans, here is another idea for a commercial. Think of the scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off where Ben Stein is standing at the front of the classroom and repeating Bueller, Bueller .... except now make it Barack, Barack, and somehow tie in all of his present votes.

Choosey People Choose Fox News

The thin skinned, arrogant, all knowing, unqualified for any office, Barry O aka Barack [middle name deleted] Obama whines about the presence of Fox news at the few stops he made in the Middle East and Europe that involved actual potential voters, also known as American service members. By now everybody knows he has decided to snub the service members at Landstuhl and Rammestein in favor of going on a shopping trip in Germany. Well the soldiers in Germany aren't the only ones he has little time for, per email over at Blackfive's place he seemed to have little time for those in Afghanistan and he is dodging a town hall meeting with service members and their families in the Ft Hood, TX area. For somebody who pretends to want to be the Commander in Chief, let that scary thought roll around in your brain for awhile, he sure has a funny way of showing it and a complete lack of understanding of just what powers that position has. Of course this is coming from someone who is on record as saying he would ignore the generals anyway and in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary pull our forces out of the engagements in Iraq. (Notice the date). Maybe he ought to spend less time with his transition team and more with the very people whole have pledged their lives to ensure that he is free to pursue his political ambitions.
