Dem Congressman Urges Obama to Fight Harder Against Evil Republicans: 'Stand It Up To Them'

Who knows, maybe he's planning on auditioning for an MSNBC gig.

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) said Sunday that African-Americans want President Obama to “fight harder” to create jobs in the struggling U.S. economy.

Speaking on CNN’s State of the Union, Cummings said the black community is very protective of Obama and is upset by attacks coming from Republicans on the president. But the lawmaker, ranking member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and former chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, said African-Americans want Obama to not concede to Republican demands.

“Almost every African-American person I have talked to has said they want him to fight, and fight harder,” Cummings said. “If the Republicans are not going to work with us, we just have to go it alone. Stand it up to them. Don’t back down. Period. They’re going to give you anything anyway.”

Why is it the responsibility of Republicans to give you something. I know this is an arcane notion, but shouldn't you earn something?

'His Vile Rhetoric Incited the Rioting'

What kind of idiot invites racial arsonist and newest MSNBC star Al Sharpton to a forum on the 20th anniversary of riots he helped instigate?

An East End synagogue has reignited bitterness over the 1991 Crown Heights race riots by inviting the Rev. Al Sharpton to a symposium marking the 20th anniversary of the bloody confrontations.

"It's just an absolute disgrace," said Norman Rosenbaum, whose brother Yankel was killed at the height of the mayhem. "His vile rhetoric incited the rioting."

What revived the nightmare was Sharpton's invitation to appear on a panel on the "State of Black-Jewish Relations: Twenty Years after Crown Heights."

The riots were touched off when 7-year-old Gavin Cato was struck and killed by a car in the motorcade of a Hasidic leader.

Yankel Rosenbaum, an Australian-born Hasidic scholar who had nothing to do with the motorcade, was stabbed to death in the violence that followed.

Sharpton was criticized at the time for saying, in a eulogy for Gavin, that he wasn't killed by a car accident but by "the social accident of apartheid." He led 400 protesters, chanting "No justice, no peace" despite pleas by then-Mayor David Dinkins for calm.

Norman Rosenbaum said the title of the forum falsely implies the four nights of rioting were due to "ongoing problems between the Jewish community and the African-American community."

"It was just wanton criminal attacks," he said. "This is Crown Heights revisionist history," he said of the forum, scheduled for Sunday night.

He said Sharpton "did absolutely nothing then to improve black-Jewish relations -- and nothing since."

Community leader Isaac Abraham, who was invited to the forum, accused The Hampton Synagogue's Rabbi Marc Schneier of trying to gain attention by including Sharpton.

"To get some publicity for your phony West Hampton ethnic bullcrap, you invite the biggest race hustler who played a large part in those four nights of the pogrom," he wrote Schneier.

Racist Liberals Blast Obama's 'Stupid Social Security Tax Holiday'

As we all know, any criticism of Barack Obama is racist. Now not only are House Democrats racist, they're calling Obama's plans stupid. A few more insults and they'll be honorary Klansmen.

Liberal Democrats are stepping up their attacks on President Obama for his plan to extend a payroll tax break by a year.

Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) blasted Obama last week for his “stupid Social Security tax holiday,” arguing that money would be better used on more stimulative spending.

He and other liberal lawmakers fear the extended tax holiday might make a permanent cut more likely, thus slashing Social Security’s primary funding stream and threatening future benefits.

“It’s a unique tax break. You don’t just give away money, you have to borrow money to give away money, to restore the Social Security trust fund,” DeFazio said Friday. “If you’re going to borrow $110 billion, spend it on infrastructure [and] put 4 million people to work instead of pissing away 25 bucks a week, which is what we’re doing now.”

Put four million people to work? This guy's a regular comedian. If $110 billion would put four million people to work, Obama's failed stimulus should have eliminated unemployment entirely.

'It Ain’t About Nancy. It’s About Black People'

Why does wealthy elitist liberal Nancy Pelosi hate black people so much?

Three staffers working for embattled Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) were asked by security officers to leave an event in downtown Washington on Thursday after they tried to display large campaign signs just as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was about to speak.

The aides were holding lawn signs that defended Waters from the ethics charges she is facing in the House.

“Let’s fight for Maxine Waters,” read a headline on the signs above a large picture of the congresswoman. Smaller headings read: “No improper action. No benefit. No failure to disclose. No one influenced. No case!”

Pelosi was appearing outside the Historical Society of Washington, D.C., where she addressed an X Prize awards ceremony honoring the winners of a contest to build a safe car that gets at least 100 miles per gallon in fuel efficiency. The staffers entered the outdoor area where Pelosi was scheduled to speak and departed without incident when asked to leave minutes later.

Waters told The Hill afterward that the staffers had been displaying the signs at the annual legislative conference for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, which was held at the Washington convention center a few blocks away. “It ain’t about Nancy. It’s about black people,” Waters said.

The charges against Waters were first handled by the Office of Congressional Ethics, which was established by Pelosi in 2008.

Waters said she was deploying campaign signs at events throughout the country to defend herself against charges that she improperly intervened to help a failing bank secure a meeting with Treasury officials even though her husband had owned stock in the company and previously served on its board. “These signs will show up wherever large numbers of African Americans gather,” Waters said.

A campaign aide to the congresswoman said the young men at the Pelosi event were staffers paid for the day. The aide said 40 to 50 yard signs were printed, in addition to 10,000 handouts. The aide said a similar presence would be made at other events between now and when Waters’s trial takes place, but that no formal plans had been made.

Just yesterday members of the Congressional Black Caucus slobbered over the soon-to-be former House Speaker.

Just after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi addressed the legislative conference of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Wednesday, Rep. Barbara Lee offered an endorsement that would warm the heart of any congressional leader facing the prospect of landslide losses this fall.

“Everyone here recognizes why we all say you are the greatest speaker ever,” Lee, caucus chairwoman, said to cheers from the audience.

Nancy Pelosi: Not only the greatest speaker ever, but quite likely the dumbest.

'Racially Insensitive and Sexist' Democrats Pull Out of Hawaii Special Election

Nothing like a good catfight among Democrats. Their own infighting may well allow Republican Charles Djou to win the Hawaii Congressional seat in Barack Obama's hometown.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the national campaign organization of House Democrats, announced today that it is pulling out of a special election in Hawaii that has turned into a major headache for the party.

"The DCCC will not be investing additional resources in the HI-01 (Abercrombie-open) special election," said DCCC spokeswoman Jennifer Crider. "Local Democrats were unable to work out their differences. The DCCC will save the resources we would have invested in the Hawaii special election this month for the general election in November."

Here's the back-story: There are two Democrats, Ed Case and Colleen Hanabusa, who are seeking the seat, along with one Republican. While the district is usually safely Democratic - President Obama grew up there, and took 70 percent of the vote in 2008 - the two Democrats are splitting the special election vote, leaving GOP candidate and Honolulu city councilman Charles Djou in first place in many polls.

Democrats have been pressuring one of the Democratic candidates to drop out, but there is a split in institutional support: National Democrats have been supporting Case, a former U.S. representative, while Hawaii's two senator's backed Hanabusa, the state senate president. Hanabusa insisted last week she is "in the race until the end" despite pressure from national Democrats.

Here's some of the back story.

Democrats remain hotly divided over whom to support, with some saying national party interference in the election has been racially insensitive or sexist.

The DCCC has been quietly supporting Case over Hanabusa, Politico reports, citing unnamed sources. Those efforts reportedly coincided with the circulation of opposition research against Hanabusa.

Upon hearing reports of the DCCC's support for Case, the Asian American Action Fund released a statement saying, "The DCCC should focus the party on uniting Democrats and keeping this seat blue rather than dividing us and helping us defeat ourselves."

"It is unseemly for party officials to step into a special election with more than one Democrat, particularly in a district where 58 percent of the population is Asian Pacific American," Asian American Action Fund executive director Gautam Dutta said. "Imagine the disgruntled reaction were the DCCC to step into a contested special election in a predominantly African-American or Latino district."

Some female Democratic activists were also angered. Amy Siskind, president of The New Agenda, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls, wrote at the Huffington Post that the DCCC's actions represented "the latest on a long list of examples of the Democratic Party no longer standing up for, nor representing, women and women's issues."

Gee, I thought only Republicans were supposed to be racist and sexist?

Racist Democrat Flips Out: 'He Lost Control of Himself'

Quick, someone call the Southern Poverty Law Center, Frank Rich and Bill Clinton. We've got an out-of-control racist Democrat on our hands here and he's clearly a threat to the public.

Hothead state Sen. Kevin Parker erupted again Tuesday, this time with a race-based rant that rattled even his supporters.

"He needs help," said Sen. Ruben Diaz (D-Bronx), an ally who witnessed the latest angry outbursts. "He lost control of himself."

Parker exploded in anger at fellow Sen. John DeFrancisco, a Syracuse Republican, who was questioning a nominee to the New York Power Authority.

DeFrancisco, who is white, asked Mark O'Luck, who is black, about the nominee's prior claim that without programs for minorities, whites and the affluent "would have access to nearly 100%" of government funding.

As DeFrancisco told O'Luck he can't fault everyone who's prospered, Parker began screaming that the GOPer was "out of order."

"How dare you!" Parker shouted, at one point referring to "you racist people in here."

"I've never seen a white appointee be treated like this, in such rude fashion!" the Brooklyn Democrat yelled.

In a scene straight out of the Al Pacino movie "And Justice for All," Parker was repeatedly ruled out order.

"You're out of order!" he screamed back. "This committee's out of order!"

Amid the nearly two-minute tirade, committee chairman Carl Krueger (D-Brooklyn) told Parker he would be removed from the hearing room if he didn't settle down.

"Then get somebody to remove me," he said. "Bring people, though."

DeFrancisco later had little to say about the incident. "It speaks for itself," he said.

Parker dismissed the incident as a "heated debate" - but maintained DeFrancisco's line of questioning was beneath the "decorum" of the Senate.

He shrugged off his warning to Krueger to "bring people," saying, "We're all prone to hyperbole."

Parker, who had been ordered to anger management after being accused of punching a traffic agent, is currently under felony indictment on a charge he assaulted a news photographer.

Earlier this year the charming Parker charged a white state senator and called her a bitch. He's currently under indictment for assaulting a photographer. Parker also is a deadbeat, having ignored paying his mortgage for years.

So the question remains: Why do Democrats tolerate these violent, racist types in their ranks?

Poll Finds Half the Democrats Are Racist, Nazi, Apartheid Supporters

Back to the drawing board for Barack Obama and the 31% of the public who want illegal aliens to overrun us.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer last week signed a new law into effect that authorizes local police to stop and verify the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being an illegal immigrant. A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that 60% of voters nationwide favor such a law, while 31% are opposed.

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of Republicans support the law along with 62% of voters not affiliated with either major party. Democratic voters are evenly divided on the measure.

At the same time, however, 58% of all voters are at least somewhat concerned that “efforts to identify and deport illegal immigrants will also end up violating the civil rights of some U.S. citizens.” That figure includes 29% who are Very Concerned about possible civil rights violations.

Voter support for empowering local police comes at a time when most voters (56%) believe it is unlikely Congress will take action to gain control of the border. Only 31% say Congress is even somewhat likely to take such an action. That figure includes just 10% who believe Congress is Very Likely to act.

President Obama has denounced the Arizona law, and he and other critics of the measure see it as an incentive to push new national immigration reform legislation to supersede it.

Not surprisingly, support for the law authorizing local police to arrest illegal immigrants is a bit higher in Arizona than it is nationwide. As one of the states most impacted by illegal immigration, 70% of voters statewide favor the new law.

Hopefully the Democrats keep up their politics of fear and division and keeping egging on the illegals to become more provocative with their swastikas and incendiary rhetoric. It's such a losing issue for them I hope they keeping digging their political graves.

'She Is Absolutely Obsessed With Painting the Tea Party People as Racists'

Is this the best you Democrats can do? If you think about it for a second, if Tea Partiers were the racists they're being portrayed as, then why would these sneaky Democrats have to bus people in to pretend to be racist Tea Partiers? Taken further, why would Democrats know how to be "racist"? Does it just come natural to them?

Do they think this pathetic behavior is going to win them votes in November?

New Hampshire Democrats are engaged in a statewide search for liberal activists willing to attend so-called tea parties on Thursday and carry signs expressing racist or fringe sentiments, a Democratic source with knowledge of the effort tells NowHampshire.com.

According to the source, who sought anonymity for fear of reprisals, the Dems’ last minute scramble reflects a growing obsession among party leaders that they need to discredit the tea party movement soon or it will overwhelm them come the November election.

Former Democratic State Party Chairman Kathy Sullivan is heading up the search, the source said. Sullivan has been calling and e-mailing liberal activists trying to get them to attend tea parties in different parts of the state and hold signs denying the authenticity of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate and make racially disparaging comments to reporters.

“This is Kathy’s [Sullivan] project,” the source told NowHampshire.com. “She is absolutely obsessed with painting the tea party people as racists.”

Similar “crash the tea party” efforts are taking place throughout the country on Tax Day.

If she pulls it off, this won’t be the first time Sullivan has endeavored to manufacture a racist controversy regarding the tea party movement. Last month Sullivan and other Democratic leaders attempted to portray a “white pride” rally in Concord held by a Massachusetts-based white supremacist organization as a tea party. Sullivan was forced to retract her bogus accusation.

Racism In Georgia

There has been a court case ongoing in Dekalb county, Georgia for a while that recently concluded and the jury decided that racism is alive and well. You won't find too many ACLU or other civil rights attorneys crowing about it though. You see in this case, like in another previous case in the area, the defendants were of a dark skinned persuasion.

A federal jury has awarded damages of more than $170,000 to two former parks department workers who filed a lawsuit claiming that DeKalb County officials sought to replace white employees with black ones. The jury's verdict Thursday found that former DeKalb chief executive Vernon Jones, his one-time top aide Richard Stogner, a former parks director and DeKalb County itself were liable for damages.

The main defendant in this case was Vernon Jones, a Democrat lap dog with a long and checkered history of run ins with the law and scandals. He has been investigated for everything from using county assets to run background checks on people who dared cross swords with him to rape. Very few of the previous cases ever made it to court, either because witnesses and victims alike suddenly either dropped charges or decided not to testify, but this time the plantiffs did not back down.

This case involved the firing of several, actually most, whites in high level positions in the county after he took over as what they call CEO. It so obvious that even Stevie Wonder could see it.

Vernon has at various times run for congress, he is currently hoping to unseat the eloquent and now world famous geologists Hank Johnson, the representative who has been made an overnight sensation for his concerns over Guam tipping over and capsizing, and he has challenged Saxby Chambliss for his Senate seat.

He is a proud Democrat and a person who is in love with power. He is also dumb as a box of rocks, which makes him fit in the Georgia fourth congressional district just fine.

For the record, the picture above, while it was produced by the Jones campaign when he was challenging for the Democrat nomination to face Saxby Chambliss in the race for his senate seat, was determined to be digitally altered and condemned by the Obama campaign. That however didn't stop Vernon from pledging his undying allegiance the TOTUS.

Teabagging Redneck Mentions Obama and Watermelons on National Television, Outraged Democrats Call for His Scalp

Just imagine the feigned outrage if a Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck said this. The condemnation would be so swift and calls for their job so loud it would be 24/7 news for weeks.

Then again, Dan Rather doesn't really have a job any more and the Democrats always look the other way when it comes to alleged racist comments of one of their own.

In reality this is just one of Dan Rather's silly homespun analogies that falls flat until host Chris Matthews interrupts him, which he's got a habit of doing. Funny though, how those Soros-funded "media watchdog" outfits didn't quite get around to mentioning this yesterday. Guess they're too busy defending ACORN from their latest criminal activities.

'I'm Blacker Than Barack Obama'

Hey, it's alright, the person who said this is a Democrat, so no harm, no foul. Just ask Al Sharpton.

So who said it? Rod Blagojevich.

"I'm blacker than Barack Obama. I shined shoes. I grew up in a five-room apartment. My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived," Blagojevich said. "I saw it all growing up."

"What the (expletive)? Everything he's saying's on the teleprompter," Blagojevich told the magazine for a story in its February issue, which hits newsstands Jan. 19.

That's funny, I don't recall Blagojevich or Harry Reid being at any of the Tea Party demonstrations. You know, the ones filled with racists, which Janeanne Garofalo went on TV and told the dozen or so viewers of Bill Maher's show.

Wouldn't you love to get a hold of some off the record comments from Hillary in regards to Barry O?

Racist Democrats for Obama: 'They’ve All Got One Black Friend'

That black friend, of course, is The Messiah.

So refreshing to see the Democrats openly admit they're racist scumbags.

New polling and a trickle of stories from the battleground states suggest that Sen. Barack Obama's coalition includes one unlikely group: white voters with negative views of African-Americans.

Race has become the elephant in the room of the 2008 presidential campaign, with Obama’s prospect of becoming the first black president drawing some Americans closer to him while pushing others away. At times, the contest has slipped into a familiar dynamic of allegations of racism and outraged denial — but it's also challenged some easy assumptions about race, racism and prejudice.

“What you see is it’s perfectly possible to hold a negative view of at least one aspect of African-Americans and yet simultaneously prefer Obama,” said Charles Franklin, a political scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. “Racial feelings are not as cut and dried — not as black and white — as people often say.”

Yes, because it's OK for them to be racist, so long as they project their racism upon Republicans with their incessant cries of racism. Naturally, it's fine if 105% of blacks (with ACORN's help, naturally) vote for Obama. We can't call that racist, because we'd be racist for pointing that out.

One senior congressional Democrat mused about prejudice among his own supporters. “They’ve all got one black friend,” he said, “and they won’t stop talking about their black friend.”

“That’s Obama,” he said.

That was probably Jack "My Constituents are Racist" Murtha.

And some argue that elements of Obama’s story and persona make him specifically acceptable to voters who hold broadly negative views of African-Americans.

“Not all whites associate the generic African-American with Obama,” said Ron Walters, a longtime student of race and politics and aide to the senior Jesse Jackson’s presidential campaigns. “They give him credit for having half a Caucasian ancestry, and give him credit for his education, and give him credit for his obvious ability to take complex subjects and parse them.”

Somehow I've missed out on Obama having an obvious ability to take on complex subjects. The guy can't even answer a simple question as to why he pals around with terrorists.
