For a minute there I thought maybe the authorities stumbled across Barney Frank's apartment or the employee lounge at Media Matters headquarters.

Police called to a home in a sleepy village were shocked to find a sex dungeon containing Nazi uniforms, whips, chains, sex toys and cattle prods.

Officers were alerted after neighbours reported 'unusual behaviour' and 'strange sounds' coming from the four-bedroom semi in Lee Mill, Devon.

Police arrived with battering rams to raid the home but a plain clothes officer knocked on the door and the residents let him in thinking he had an appointment.

The sex 'dungeon' was found in a converted first floor room filled with hundreds of items including whips, gas masks, wooden bats, handcuffs, clothes pegs and shackles.

Police also discovered bondage chairs with straps, straight jackets, sex toys, gimp masks, S&M outfits, shackles, cattle prods and car batteries used to power the toys.

The dungeon was also stuffed with 'various electrical vibrating' items and a recording studio complete with computer equipment and mixing desk.

During the raid, one customer arrived at the home and still asked for his appointment to go ahead despite the large police presence.

Detective Sergeant Stuart Gilroy of Devon and Cornwall police said officers made the 'startling' discovery last Friday afternoon.

He said: 'We were surprised to uncover this to say the very least. Upon searching the house we found a room set up as a dungeon.

'It's fair to say we were not expecting to find a masochistic dungeon in sleepy Lee Mill. You don't expect to find this sort of thing anywhere.

In the dungeon alone we discovered bondage chairs with straps, gimp masks, whips, shackles and various electrical vibrating items. Hundreds of items were seized at the address.'

Domestic Violence Lobbyist Kills Husband

File this under truth is stranger then fiction. A 45-year-old woman killed her 26-year-old husband after just five days of marital bliss. Her occupation is as a lobbyist speaking against domestic violence. The shooting itself was strange since the woman dressed in a robe with a shower cap and calmly walked up to her beloved on a downtown street and shot him.

Arelisha Bridges was ordered held without bond in the Fulton County Jail. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing later this month on charges of felony murder, murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Officials said Bridges claimed she was unemployed. But records show she is a lobbyist for an organization called the National Declaration for Domestic Violence Order; its Web site says the group is pushing legislation to create a database of those convicted of sex crimes or domestic abuse.

As Obama Speaks, Another Endangered Democrat Announces Retirement; Update: Sexually Harassed Male Staffer?

Mere minutes before the Clown-in-Chief walked out with his props dressed in lab coats today to lie through his teeth some more, word leaked an endangered Democrat announced his retirement.

Rep. Eric Massa is poised to announce this afternoon that he will not seek re-election in the 29th Congressional District this fall as planned, a Democratic source confirms.

The freshman congressman is going to make his announcement at 3 p.m., according to the source. It's unclear if that event is taking place in the district or in Wahsington, D.C. A call to Massa's spokesman has so far not been returned.

UPDATE: Massa's office says he will be speaking with the press on a "very important" conference call at 3:30 p.m. He's in Washington.

Massa is calling around the district to inform party leaders and supporters of his decision.

The source said he assumed that Massa's move is "health related," but said the congressman also gave him a rather nebulous warning that he would be "hearing things that aren't true."

Sources close to the congressman say there has been talk of an ethics investigation, but a staffer in Massa's district office contacted yesterday insisted he had no knowledge of that.

Ironically a guy who might have ethics problems announces he's leaving while a bum like Charlie Rangel plans apparently to die in office. Curious how Massa has filled his campaign coffers with donations from Rangel.

Citing federal Election Commission records, former Corning mayor Tom Reed said in a news release that Massa accepted a total of $67,822 from several of Rangel's fundraising committees during the 2008 and 2010 election cycles.
Last week, a House Ethics Committee report found Rangel guilty of violating gift rules by accepting corporate-sponsored trips to the Caribbean in 2007 and 2008.

Massa is one of many to accept money from Rangel.

Update: Oh my.

According to several House aides – on both sides of the aisle – the House ethics committee has been informed of allegations that Massa, who is married with two children, sexually harassed a male staffer.

I don't claim to know all of the minutiae of congressional procedures, but my basic understanding is that the Nancy Pelosi led House of Representatives has to basically pass the Senate version. They are going to try to with guarantees from Harry Reid that he will incorporate the necessary changes wanted by the progressives in the House in the final version. Harry will then use the reconciliation process to get the 51 votes needed to send it the presidents desk.

Elections have consequences. In the case of this latest one, not just for the current generation, but for about the next two generations if this thing becomes reality.

Paterson Accused of Violating State Laws

Maybe this will finish off the accidental governor.

The New York State Commission on Public Integrity today charged Gov. David Paterson with violating the gift ban of the state’s ethics laws when he secured free tickets to the first game of the 2009 World Series from the New York Yankees.

The commission has asked Attorney General Andrew Cuomo and the Albany County district attorney to investigate whether Paterson or anyone else committed a crime by testifying falsely under oath during the commission’s interview of him and by causing a check to be back-dated.

The commission determined that there is reasonable cause to believe that the governor solicited, received and accepted an unlawful gift and later falsely testified under oath that he had always intended to pay for the tickets for his son and his son’s friend. In fact, the commission alleged, the governor’s intention was to receive and accept the tickets without paying for them until a press inquiry caused him to submit a backdated check as payment for the tickets.

The commission charged Paterson with violating two subsections of the gift ban provisions of the Public Officers Law, each of which carries a maximum penalty of $40,000. In addition, he allegedly violated three sections of the state Code of Ethics, including one that prohibits the Governor from using his official position to secure unwarranted privileges, which carries a civil penalty of $10,000

Dum da dum dum.

Granted, this is chump change next to the countless ethical violations committed by his good friend Charlie Rangel, but considering the cloud Paterson's been under and the pressure to resign, he may no longer have anyone left in his corner.

Captain Sully Retires to Focus on Fulltime 'Rock Star Sex'

The Hero of the Hudson hung up his wings Wednesday.

Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, who became a national hero last winter after he miraculously crash-landed a stricken US Airways flight in the river and got everybody out alive, is retiring, the airline said.

"I have been fortunate to have followed my passion for most of my life, working in a profession I dearly love," Sullenberger, 59, said later in a statement.

The hero pilot gave a shout out to his co-pilot, Jeff Skiles, and vowed to continue working as an advocate for airline safety and for "the airline piloting profession."

"I will work to remind the entire industry - and those who manage and regulate it - that we have a sacred duty to our passengers to do the very best that we know how to do," he wrote.

The Federal Aviation Administration requires pilots to retire at age 60.

Here's hoping Captain Sully continues getting all that rock star sex.

In other FAA news, an air traffic controller is in hot water for allowing his five-year-old to direct traffic.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating why a child was allowed to direct air traffic at John F. Kennedy airport, one of the busiest airports in the country.

The FAA says a controller brought the child to work on February 17th and allowed him to talk to pilots.

"Pending the outcome of our investigation, the employees involved in this incident are not controlling air traffic," the FAA said in a statement. "This behavior is not acceptable and does not demonstrate the kind of professionalism expected from all FAA employees." The agency declined to comment beyond the statement.

I really don't drink all that much any more, but I'm sure this will be welcome news for many.

Booze, for all its magical wonder, still has big drawbacks: You can't sober up quickly, and you often get a hangover. Now Korean researchers have found a way of tweaking booze to limit the fallout — without cutting its strength.

Doctors Kwang-il Kwon and Hye Gwang Jeong of Chungnam National University studied the properties of oxygenated alcohol - booze with oxygen bubbles added - which is a popular concoction in their country. In these drinks, oxygen is added the way carbonation is usually added to soda, and the scientists wanted to know if these oxygenated beverages affected people differently than non-oxygenated ones. The answer was a resounding yes.

They ran three experiments using 19.5% alcohol drinks, and measured the speed at which people's blood alcohol dropped to 0.000%. In other words: How fast did they sober up?

The drinks with the added oxygen content sobered people up 20-30 minutes faster, under the influence of the rather potent alcohol they used for the trials. 20% alcohol is around the strength of fortified wine, soju, or a very strong mixed drink, so while shaving a half hour off your drunken tomfoolery might not seem a great deal, when you're trying to fall asleep at night and combating the spins, you'll appreciate it.

Stay Classy, Libs: Bunning Has Received Numerous Death Threats

A couple of weeks ago when far-left quack Joe Stack flew a plane into the IRS building in Austin the left was quick to call him a "teabagger terrorist" and immediately assign blame to Republicans.

Well, now that we know Senator Jim Bunning has been subjected to bomb threats and now death threats, they're curiously silent.

Meanwhile, Capitol Police are investigating numerous threats that have come into Bunning’s office over the past several days in response to his filibuster, sources familiar with the situation said.

A Bunning aide confirmed late Tuesday night that the office had received a number of complaints via phone, fax and e-mail, and that they had been forwarded on to Capitol Police for investigation. “There have been some threats. We take all threats seriously, and we’ve been reporting them to the authorities,” the aide said.

A second source familiar with the situation said Bunning had received a number of death threats.

I blame the media and the left for this unhinged anger. Anger fomented by idiots like these morons at MSNBC.

Rangel Takes 'Leave of Absence'

How about just leaving the country? Go hang with your boy Fidel or something. Just go away.

U.S. Representative Charles Rangel announced today that he sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi asking for a leave of absence from his post as chairman of the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee.

Rangel, a Democrat from New York, declined to give details as to what prompted his decision to relinquish leadership of the panel, which also has jurisdiction over Social Security, trade and Medicare. Rangel was admonished for breaking House rules on accepting gifts.

This Democrat double standard just boggles the mind.

Extra small condoms for boys as young as 12 are going on sale in Switzerland after a sexual health group campaign.

Called the Hotshot, the condom has been produced after government research showed 12 to 14-year-olds did not use sufficient protection when having sex.

The study, conducted on behalf of the Federal Commission for Children and Youth, interviewed 1,480 people aged between 10 and 20.

It found more 12 to 14-year-old were having sex, in comparison with the 1990s.

Nancy Bodmer, who led the research at the Centre for Development and Personality Psychology at Basel University, said: 'The result that shocked us concerned young boys who display apparently risky behaviour.

'They have more of a tendency not to protect themselves. They do not have a very developed sexual knowledge.

In Wake Of Obama Visit Georgia Unemployment Hits Record High

The PrezBo was in Savannah, Georgia yesterday to talk about jobs and how much government handouts were going to spark the economy.

Today the unemployment numbers for Georgia were announced, and I am sure the national figure due to be released later this week on Friday is going to reflect the same trend. The Georgia unemployment rate is now 10.4%. And getting worse.

The Georgia Department of Labor reported that the state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in January was 10.4 percent, topping the previous record high of 10.3 percent a month earlier.

I know this is local type stuff, but it is my world where I live. In addition to working for a company that is squarely in the crosshairs of this administration this just adds to the growing ulcer threatening to burst out like some sort of alien birth.

I don't know what the tipping point is before the current administration realizes that they are doing more harm then good, or is that their intentions all along. It sure seems like they are tone deaf to our economic woes or else they are just so damn stubborn that they will take this country off the cliffs like lemmings to the sea. Whichever it is, somebody needs to figure out how to snap them out of it or at least the very least just get them to stop.

Go play basketball for 6 months Barry. Take Nancy and Harry with you and all of those economic advisers you got. Quit thinking that throwing more money around is the solution. The answer lies beyond that. The answer is contained in an intangible thing called confidence.

Ronald Reagan projected it. Peyton Manning exudes it. Hell the kid that is the captain of the eighth grade debate team has it. Until the private sections of this country have some confidence that things will get better, they won't.

So please Mr President, go do nothing. Have congress do the same. Everyday y'all show up for work is another day when the private sector waits to see which one of them is going to attacked or legislated to death.

Dude Rocks the Fox

Don't mess with this Dude.

Being chickens, they probably didn't put too much thought into it.

But somehow a flock of four birds managed to kill a fox that had slunk into their pen hoping to gobble them up.

Their owner Michelle Cordell, 43, had the shock of her life when she went to collect the eggs on the weekend and instead found a heavily pecked pile of fur lying dead in the corner.

She said: 'I was shocked. When I opened up the door, the chickens came running out, happy as anything.

'I went inside and the fox was laying there. I've never heard of anything like this before. It's like revenge of the chickens.'

The family, of Basildon, Essex, have in the past lost a hen and a cockerel to foxes, so are well aware of the danger the animals pose.

And so, it seems, are their chickens.

This time, the marauder was a relatively young fox - and no match for the new cockerel Dude and his hens Izzy, Pongo and Pecky.

Miss Cordell has no doubt it is Dude who was the ringleader in the murder.

She said she had shut the sliding door of the coop when she put the chickens to bed on Friday night, but the fox must have nosed his way under. When she went out on Saturday morning, the door was still shut.

The little table in the corner of the coop, which the chickens perch on, had been kicked over and was lying next to the fox's head.

"You arrive as an intern and stay for life, and people do fall in love with Dave and behave in a way that might not be considered appropriate in a professional working environment.

"It was intoxicating to me, and I could see how someone could cross the line. It's like Jesus Christ saying, 'Hey, let's go to dinner!' You're going to go, 'Wow! He chose me!' If he'd hit on me, I probably would have accepted."

Palin told Leno's audience she planned to speak at a gun-rights convention: "Be there or else," she warned them.

She said Alaska is different from California. In Los Angeles, "when people have a frozen look on their face, I find out it's Botox."

And she's happy she's not vice president. "I would not know what to do with all that free time," she quipped.

In remarks taped for broadcast later Tuesday, Palin said the White House health care plan reminds her of acrobatic flips done by snowboard champion Shaun White. And she joked that it's so cold in Alaska it's "5 degrees below Congress' approval rating."

She mentioned she'll be speaking at the NRA convention. One can only imagine the hysterical left's reaction when that happens.

Zuckerman Not Running in New York; Gillibrand Demands Paterson Resign

Yesterday it was Harold Ford, today it's Mort Zuckerman. Is there anyone who will run against an un-elected incumbent?

The field in the battle for a New York Senate seat became a little clearer Tuesday when Mortimer B. Zuckerman announced he would not join the race.

Mr. Zuckerman, chairman and publisher of the Daily News, said personal and professional reasons were behind his decision not to challenge Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.

"I was encouraged by many major political figures in New York to look closely at running for Senate," Mr. Zuckerman said.

"However, at this time, it is very difficult to see how I can devote the necessary time to either a campaign, or to working in Washington, if I were to win."

Mr. Zuckerman pointed out that he has a young family, which is the most important focus in his life.

So what's left? George Pataki? Not the most inspiring possibility.

Meanwhile, the suddenly empowered Gillibrand gave her thanks to the lame-duck David Paterson by asking him to resign tonight. Yes, the guy who appointed her. Now that's some loyalty!

A besieged Gov. Paterson retreated into bunker-mode Tuesday, holing up in his mansion as demands he resign rained down - even from his hand-picked senator.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand lowered the boom as the exploding scandal claimed another scalp: State Police Superintendent Harry Corbitt said he'll retire at the end of Wednesday.

"I'm a cop, a good cop," Corbitt told the "Capitol Tonight" cable show last night. "For my own health, for my own sanity, it's the right thing."

The most shocking evidence of Paterson's crumbling world came from Gillibrand, a little-known upstate congresswoman before Paterson plucked her from obscurity last year to fill Hillary Clinton's vacant seat.

Dear Liberals, Call Off the Bomb Threats: Bunning Agrees to Deal

I guess Senator Jim Bunning grew tired of having his life threatened by the Forces of Tolerance and decided to accept a deal tonight.

Under increasing pressure from Democrats and members of his own party, Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky.) Tuesday night abandoned his one-man filibuster of a one-month extension to unemployment benefits and other programs.

In the end Bunning agreed to a deal allowing him one vote on an amendment to pay for the bill’s $10 billion cost. That proposal was offered by Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) last Thursday at the start of his filibuster, but Bunning rejected it because he feared his amendment would not pass.

Reid has also agreed to give Bunning two votes on amendments to a larger, one-year extension bill that is currently under consideration in the Senate.

I hadn't see the left so giddy since the government shutdown back in the mid-1990s. They have so much fun feigning concern for the people they've put on the unemployment lines that I figured they'd milk this for weeks.

As to who might be calling in the bomb threats, let's just say this: If I had the journalistic ethics of say, a Frank Rich, I'd probably come right out and accuse the hip new Beanbaggers from the left. I'm not saying they might do that, but judging by some of their rhetoric, you could see how someone could think that. But I won't go there.

Rangel Ousted: 'The Dam Broke Today'; Update: Still Clinging On?

Ways and Means Chairman Charlie Rangel was on the verge of losing his gavel Tuesday night as a trickle of Democratic defections turned into a flood.

“The dam broke today,” said a senior Democratic aide.

Rangel suffered a significant blow Tuesday afternoon when Rep. Artur Davis – a member of both the Ways and Means Committee and the Congressional Black Caucus who’s running for governor back home in Alabama – issued a statement in which he said the chairman “should do the right thing and step aside.”

For a few days, the New York Democrat’s grip on power seemed steady even after the House ethics committee found him in violation of House gift rules last week. Speaker and Rangel ally Nancy Pelosi (DCal.) vowed to wait to see if ethics acts on more of the allegations that have been lodged against him.

But Republicans are planning to bring a resolution to the House floor calling for his removal as chairman, and Democratic aides said Tuesday that the party’s most vulnerable incumbents are not willing to risk the electoral fallout that would come from standing by the 39-year House veteran.

Electoral fallout? But the Queen just told us the other day the Democrats would be retaining their majority.

Harlem Democrat Charles Rangel now says he will step down as chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, NBC News has learned.
He may make the move as early as tonight and Michigan Democratic Rep Sander Levin will temporarily take over the committee.

Some details still need to be ironed out, but sources said Rangel has been pushed to step down before the House voted on a bill to forcefully strip him of the coveted chairmanship.

Update: It appears they may have to drag his worthless carcass out kicking and screaming. That or give him a bribe.

Charlie Rangel emerged from a closed-door meeting in Nancy Pelosi’s office Tuesday night to declare that he’s still the chairman of the Ways and Means Committee and hasn’t agreed to give up his gavel – even as some media outlets were reporting that he’d done just that.

But asked whether he’d still be the chairman tomorrow and in the coming days, Rangel said: “I can’t make all those promises at my age.”

And when Pelosi was asked whether Rangel was resigning, she said “no comment.”

Cops are hunting for Naomi Campbell after she assaulted her limo driver in Midtown on Tuesday afternoon, police sources said.

Campbell slugged the 27-year-old driver, then ran from the scene at E. 58th St. and Second Ave. just after 1 p.m.

The driver reported the incident to police, who were canvassing the area.

Sounds like she threw quite a beating on this guy.

Cops later interviewed the 27-year-old driver at the 17th Precinct station house, along with Campbell's assistant, who had hired him for the day.

The driver reported having "bumps and bruises" as a reult of the attack, a police official said.

The former British-born supermodel has had some anger management issues in the past.

Just the other day we found out she's maturing!

A Simple No Is Now a Filibuster

There sure are a lot of liberals, mainly in Congress and the news media, that need to go grab a dictionary or do a little research on what a filibuster actually is.

As I noted in a previous post, and as is increasingly well known to those who actually are capable of comprehension, Senator Jim Bunning - for the simple reason he wishes it to be paid for - is objecting to a repeated unanimous consent request by Senate Democrats to call up and pass a bill that would temporarily extend unemployment benefits, transportation funding, medicare reimbursement, COBRA subsidies and other expenditures to the tune of another $10 billion or so. Again, Democrats are requesting that each U.S. Senator agree - that is, effectively vote “yes” - to said extension without full consideration or debate on the Senate floor.

Lately Bunning is taking a lot of heat for refusing to simply give his voice to an extension of unemployment benefits, one of several other items contained in a piece of legislation that the Imperial Harry Reid wants to pass without a vote. The total bill is $10 billion, and rather then just going along with the crowd Bunning told Dingy Harry to bring the bill to the floor for a vote. Sure, it will take an extra five minutes to fire up the tote board and have everybody push the little button on their desk, but at least you've got everybody on record.

Somehow this has now turned into a filibuster, according to the press and any shrieking harpie liberal talking head or elected official who can get face time on a news show.

Just to be clear, since becoming a minority in the Senate the Republicans have held exactly zero, nada, zip, zilch, no filibusters. Sure, it's a catchy word and the lazy press throw it around like the latest kewl kid saying, trying to recapture their hippie days and deciding groovy was just too dated to use.

Senator Bunning is doing the right thing. He is not blocking anything, rather he is forcing the Democrats to abide by the rules they adopted, known as PayGo. It was a much heralded event when the Congress passed it and PrezBo signed it with much fanfare, but now that reality is staring them in the face the Democrats want to simply ignore the rules they created.

This is nothing new for them, since for decades they have governed as if the rules applied to everybody but them and with so many in the press providing cover they have been getting away with it.

'Worse Than Watergate? This Time it is the Crime AND the Coverup'

Ordinarily when a Democrat dredges up Watergate it's over a Republican scandal, be it real or fabricated. Well, in this case it's a Democrat bringing it up to call for the resignation of another Democrat. And the pressure is mounting by the hour for David Paterson to resign.

Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and Senate Democratic leader John Sampson have just arrived at the governor's mansion near the Capitol where Gov. Paterson has been holed up for the past two days.

The two leaders said nothing on their way into the mansion, although it is believed they may be bringing a message to the governor that it's time for him to resign his office.

Paterson has been embroiled in a scandal stemming from revelations that he may have been involved in directing a cover-up of the domestic violence incident involving one of his close aides.

Sherr-una Booker told police she was roughed up on Halloween last year by Paterson aide David Johnson, her boyfriend at the time, but later decided not to press any charges.

At issue is whether Paterson or anyone from his staff or security detail influenced her decision.

Paterson has acknowledged that he spoke with Booker, but said she initiated the call and that he did not try to get her to change her story.

State Democratic Chairman Jay Jacobs, who has been a Paterson supporter, was also on his way to Albany to meet with the governor.

"I called him, I have not spoken with him yet," Jacobs told The Post, declining to say specifically what he planned to say, but acknowledging the latest allegations are serious.

This comes as State Sen. Craig Johnson (D-Long Island) wrote on his Twitter account this morning, "Worse than Watergate? This time it is the crime AND the coverup."

The push for Paterson to step out is beginning in earnest, multiple sources told The Post, adding that he's being given a very hard sell that he has to leave.

"He can't govern," said one insider familiar with the discussions, while another said, "I don't see how he he lasts the week."

How bad is it for Paterson? Even the politically tone-deaf charmers from NOW have chimed in.

“It is inappropriate for the governor to have any contact or to direct anyone to contact an alleged victim of violence,” said Marcia Pappas, president of NOW New York State. “This latest news is very disappointing for those of us who believed the governor was a strong advocate for women’s equality and for ending violence against women.”

How naive they are, thinking Democrats care the slightest bit about women. If they had the slightest clue they'd have been out in front of this story at least a week ago.

Sex-Crazed Elephant Trashes Wedding

I've always said you've got to be really careful about who you invite to weddings.

AN ELEPHANT ran amok at a lavish wedding ceremony in India, causing $303,000 worth of damage.

The elephant, one of three hired for the wedding reception of two politicians' children in New Delhi, went on the rampage after trying to reach an in-heat female elephant.

According to Bangkok-based Thaindian News, the elephant charged a lawn full of wedding guests before flipping over about 20 cars in a nearby parking lot.

It was finally brought under control by a tranquilizer around six hours later, after ramming a police truck and narrowly avoiding injuring two officers within.

The elephant was very confused.

The turned-on tusker trampled 20 limos trying to reach the female in a nearby sugar cane field in the Indian capital New Delhi.

He also then mounted and attempted to mate with a truck, and smashed through a shopping mall in the 15-hour New Delhi rampage.

Shocker: 'Minority' Student Confesses to Hanging Noose at UCSD

Hmmm. This all sounds so familiar. A noose shows up on a college campus, outrage ensues, pandering politicians jump the gun and decry intolerant acts of alleged racism and then, well, it all turns out to be a hoax.

The UC San Diego student reportedly responsible for hanging a noose last week in a campus library issued a public, but anonymous, apology Monday and said she had no racist motivation.

The noose's discovery set off protests at a school that is already tense from recent racially charged episodes and triggered condemnations from UC leaders and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In a letter published Monday on the front page of the UC San Diego student newspaper, the Guardian, the student wrote that the incident was "a mindless act and stupid mistake" and was not meant to recall the lynching of blacks.

"As a minority student who sympathizes with the students that have been affected by the recent issues on campus, I am distraught to know that I have unintentionally added to their pain," the student wrote. She was suspended Friday and remains under investigation for a possible hate crime.

The letter is signed "Anonymous UCSD Student" and offers no clues about her identity or ethnicity.

Sari Thayer, the Guardian's Web editor, said in an interview that the woman had asked the paper to publish the letter and that "a reliable source" confirmed its authenticity.

The woman wrote that she and friends had been playing with the rope early last week, making a lasso and then a noose.

She said that she took it to the library Tuesday, strung it above a desk and forgot about it. Its discovery Thursday night caused a firestorm on campus, where tensions were high after a Feb. 15 off-campus party that mocked Black History Month.

Whoops. Never mind. Cancel those sensitivity classes.

Naturally, some other highly suspicious incidents of "racism" immediately popped up elsewhere.

Officials at the University of California, Santa Cruz say they found the image of a noose scribbled on the inside of a bathroom door.
The graffiti was discovered Monday in the school's Earth and Marine Sciences building. School spokesman Jim Burns says the words "San Diego" and "lynch" were written on either side of it.

The graffiti follows a string of racially charged incidents at the University of California, San Diego. A noose was found dangling from a light fixture of a campus library last Thursday.

Meanwhile, at the very white Cal-Berkeley the forces of tolerance held a "Blackout" in protest yesterday. I wonder if they feel really stupid today?

Amazingly, nobody had yet blamed Tea Party activists as far as we can tell.

Sad: Washed-Up Movie Critic Takes to Twitter to Trash Tea Partiers

You'd think a guy battling cancer would have more to worry about than harboring insane rage against Americans fighting for their freedom. It's really sad this far-left kook can't let go of his anger.

Who's the biggest scourge of the tea party movement these days? It might be film critic Roger Ebert, who lately has been tossing brickbats at Sarah Palin and other right-wing politicians in between rendering verdicts on the latest movies.

Over the last few weeks, Ebert has used his busy Twitter page to give the tea party belittling nicknames, predict it will quickly fade and opine that "a loud movement is not the same as a mass movement."

"I write about the TeePees because it's so sad how they've been manipulated to oppose their own best interests," Ebert said in an e-mail, using his latest epithet for the tea party followers. "I am a liberal."

Yes, people just cannot do what's in their own best interests and think for themselves. Instead, they're being "manipulated" by some dark, unseen forces, unlike liberals who always think for themselves, naturally.

Now here we have a grown man reduced to using the term "TeePees" to refer to Tea Partiers.

So clever I'm surprised nobody else came up with it. Get it? TP, like toilet paper?

But due to complications from cancer surgery in 2006, he has been unable to speak. The story of his recovery battle, along with a jarring portrait that revealed his surgically ravaged jawline, recently appeared in Esquire. Tuesday, he will appear on a taped piece on "Oprah" to unveil an electronic device that promises to give him back some vocal function. Given the fact that for years Ebert was never far away from a microphone, there's irony in the fact that his current battle with the tea party followers is conducted in text only, with bite-sized tweets and blog posts.

He might gain some sympathy if he acted like an adult.

Government Motors Recalls 1.3 Million Vehicles

It'll be interesting to see how quickly the preening Congressthings call Government Motors owner Barack Obama to come testify, along with all his union buddies.

General Motors has recalled 1.3 million Chevrolet and Pontiac models in North America for power steering failures that are tied to 14 crashes and one injury in the United States, the company said Tuesday.

The recall affects 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt and 2007-2010 Pontiac G5 models sold in the United States, 2005-2006 Pontiac Pursuit vehicles sold in Canada, and 2005-2006 Pontiac G4 models sold in Mexico.

Detroit-based GM told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration about the recall Monday after concluding its own investigation first launched in January 2009.

The NHTSA opened a separate investigation on 905,000 U.S. Cobalt models in January 2010 after receiving more than 1,100 complaints on power steering failures, 14 crashes and an injury.

Hey, Look Who Took Money From Evil Insurance Companies

Remember this meltdown from Anthony Weiner last week? He was so cute railing against the evil insurance companies and making the absurd claim he never met a Republican who wasn't wholly owned by the big, bad insurance companies.

Well, look what we've got here. It turns out Weiner himself has taken insurance company money. Seems I've never met a sniveling Democrat who wasn't a total hypocrite.

But who owns Weiner?

The unions, for starters. Over the years, according to Federal Election Commission records, he's taken more than $631,000 from just about every Big Labor outfit imaginable.

Or the trial lawyers.

Well, they don't call themselves that anymore -- they're the American Association for Justice. And their political action committee has forked over $43,000 to keep Weiner in Congress.

Or groups like the AMA, the American Hospital Association and lobbying outfits for radiologists, cardiologists, podiatrists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, psychiatrists, pathologists -- even veterinarians. They've been good for $122,500.

Wall Street -- you know, those financial companies that Democrats love to bash -- has kicked in $92,750.

Then there's the home builders' lobby ($22,500), the auto dealers' lobby ($25,000), the Realtors' lobby ($41,000), casino companies ($20,500) and the beer wholesalers ($12,500).

As for the evil insurance industry, Weiner has glommed up at least $20,300 from such companies as John Hancock, Met Life, MONY, New York Life and Prudential, as well as from the American Council of Life Insurers.

Sort of makes you wonder why all these special interests think that Anthony Weiner is so . . . well, special.

I guess glomming money from Big Labor, Big Trial Lawyer, Big Medical, Big Beer, and Big Realty is fine with Weiner. Oh, and he also takes money from Big Insurance yet talks out the other said of his mouth and trashes the hand that feeds him.

Funny, but I don't recall seeing Weiner whining on the House floor about all his Democrat friends, including his mentor Chuckie Schumer, taking all that money from Big Bernie Madoff.

Blanche Lincoln Recipient of Obama Curse

The Obama endorsement curse is quickly overtaking the Sports Illustrated front page as the most dreaded sign of failure, which is bad news for Blanche Lincoln (D-AR). Robert Gibbs came out yesterday and said The One is standing behind her, just like they are standing behind all incumbent Democrats.

Guess this means she will vote for the Pelsoi-Reid-Obama healthcare plan now. I mean defeat is guaranteed so why not go out in a blaze of glory and really screw the constituents who you ignored all these years. Guess she might have the last laugh at our expense, realizing that she will be exempt any of the provisions in any healthcare legislation that is passed. Congress always manages to exempt themselves from the rules all of us little people have to struggle under.

President Obama is sticking with Sen. Blanche Lincoln in the May 18 Democratic primary in Arkansas.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs confirmed today that Obama will keep with his trend of supporting the sitting senator in party primaries, as he's done with Sen. Arlen Specter over Rep. Joe Sestak in Pennsylvania and in supporting Sen. Michael Bennet in Colorado.

"We support Senator Lincoln as an incumbent senator," Gibbs told reporters today during his daily briefing.

I guess the other good news is they are also supporting Specter. I will be glad to see him go.

Obama Visits Georgia, General Public Not Invited

The TOTUS is visiting Georgia today, Savannah specifically, to come talk about jobs and the economy. Right now the Georgia unemployment rate is above the national average and we are deluged with the daily numbers of layoffs and foreclosures. We are in the top 10 there also, but strangely just in the Democrat areas, and in an effort to keep it real the general public is not allowed to visit Barry O.

Go figure.

Savannah is preparing to welcome President Barack Obama Tuesday.

But he won't be meeting with the general public

The President is scheduled to speak at Savannah Technical College.

He's expected to highlight programs to boost the economy and create jobs.

But the event is invitation-only and it's very unclear who's being invited.

No doubt he will also come with a check in hand, just like Joe Biden did when he decided to visit one of the most connected communities in the state, where the average resident earns well above the state average, and handed out a check touting a program to increase broadband access. He visited Dawsonville, which is home to NASCAR legend Bill Elliott, and while they may be a bunch of gearheads, the Elliott family has created more jobs in this northern Georgia city and area than Barry O and all of his Democrat allies could ever dream of.

While Barry is here he will visit a technical college and the venue holds about 250 people, which is by invite only.

Recently, the Obama spoke of increasing funding for nuclear power plants, and there is one in the area, and as a result we have been bombarded with commercials from environmental groups warning us that we are going to wind up glowing in the dark and how the apocalypse is just around the corner. Some of those folks are upset that they won't be able to get into the meeting.

Oh and that school he is visiting. It is being tossed around in discussions regarding budget cuts in the University System of Georgia for closure. You see states have to live on a budget unlike the federal government.

The Murder-Suicide Victims of 'Global Warming'

Somehow I doubt anyone will ask junk scientist Al Gore about this.

Francisco Lotero, 56, and Miriam Coletti, 23, shot their daughter and her toddler brother before killing themselves.

Their son Francisco, two, died instantly after being hit in the back.

However, their unnamed daughter cheated death after the bullet from her father's handgun missed her vital organs.

Police were alerted by worried neighbours who discovered the massacre three days after the shooting and the girl was taken to hospital.

The youngster is recovering in hospital in the town of Goya in the northern Argentine province of Corrientes, where doctors say she is out of danger.

Her parents said they feared the effects of global warming in a suicide note discovered by police.

The parents and a two-year-old are dead and a child left an orphan, all becasue of global warming hysteria.

I hope Gore sleeps well in his mansion at night. The blood is on his hands.

Memo to Paterson: It's the Cover-Up, Stupid

I just don't see how much longer the accidental governor can stay in office as the slow drip of revelations surrounding his aide's beating of his girlfriend is slowly becoming a tidal wave ready to wash his administration away. Paterson may want to step aside and for a minute begin thinking of how badly this affects the state and his constituents.

In an explosive development that puts Gov. Paterson at the center of an alleged cover-up, the governor instructed two female state workers to contact the woman involved in a domestic-violence case against his closest aide -- even enlisting one of them to ask the victim to downplay it, sources told The Post last night.

Paterson instructed his press secretary, Marissa Shorenstein -- who met with probers from Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's office yesterday -- to phone Sherr-una Booker just as the media was preparing to unleash a damning piece on Booker's ex, troubled longtime Paterson pal David Johnson, one source said.

The source said it appeared that Paterson wanted to minimize the violent nature of the incident.

The stunning revelation is the first apparent evidence that Paterson tried to influence the case against his friend, Johnson.

Booker had told cops that Johnson choked her and slammed her into a mirror because he was furious over her sexy Halloween costume.

Shorenstein called Booker but was unable to reach her, and a Paterson administration source insisted that the press secretary wasn't aware of the extent of Johnson's alleged vicious attack on Booker when she tried to reach her.

Shorenstein had phoned Booker at Paterson's behest believing that the woman might issue a statement on behalf of the governor as he was getting slammed by scandal, the Paterson source said.

Meanwhile, Paterson -- in his quest for damage control -- even personally pressed a second state worker to get involved in the case, the source said.

The governor asked the worker, Deneane Brown, to reach out to Booker, whom she knows, and have her call him so they could talk, according to the source.

Brown, who works for the Division of Housing and Community Renewal, called Booker several times before finally reaching her Feb. 7.

Booker then turned around and called Paterson that same day -- the day before she was to appear in court in her domestic-violence case against Johnson.

The next day, Feb. 8, Booker failed to appear in court -- and her bid to seek a protection order against Johnson was dismissed.

Can you say conspiracy, boy and girls?

Meanwhile, Paterson has become so distracted he's not even able to show up for work.

He's got to go.

The "Hall of Governors" corridor outside of Paterson's office at the Capitol was eerily quiet for the start of a state government work week.

By early evening, Paterson hadn't left the 39-room protected compound, despite what had been expected to be a full day of serious negotiations with state lawmakers on how to close a looming $9 billion state budget deficit for the fiscal year beginning April 1.

"Where's the governor? Why isn't he here working?" a senior Assembly Democrat asked.

"Is he writing his resignation speech?"

Aides refused to say what the governor was doing in the mansion.

So you have a state in dire fiscal crisis, a lame-duck governor mired in scandal and he's not even showing up for work.

Ford Not Running Against Gillibrand

Well, that clears the Democrat path for her. Now we just need to find a Republican to run for this very winnable seat.

Tennessee transplant and former U.S. Rep. Harold Ford Jr. has decided not to challenge unelected incumbent Kirsten Gillibrand for her US Senate seat, sources said tonight.

"I heard from Harold Ford and he has decided not to run," said Assemblyman Vito Lopez, the Kings County Democratic chairman who had strongly indicated a willingness to back Ford.

"After giving it considerable thought and talking it over with his wife, he reached the conclusion that he would not be running, although he said he would like to remain active in the Democratic Party here," Lopez continued.

Grim Jobs Numbers Coming? Summers Blames Winter

These Obama hacks are now reduced to blaming snowstorms for what will likely be more "unexpected" bad jobs numbers later this week.

Just pathetic.

White House economic adviser Larry Summers said on Monday winter blizzards were likely to distort U.S. February jobless figures, which are due to be released on Friday.

"The blizzards that affected much of the country during the last month are likely to distort the statistics. So it's going to be very important ... to look past whatever the next figures are to gauge the underlying trends," Summers said in an interview with CNBC, according to a transcript.

Construction activity was hit particularly hard by the storms, but many restaurants and stores also had to close, putting the brakes on hiring plans and temporarily throwing some employees out of work.

So now if some stores had to close for a day that put brakes on hiring plans? Who the hell does he think he's kidding?

Now if by happenstance the numbers were to go down would Summers urge us to look past those numbers?

Next thing you know some idiot will tell us those snowstorms were a result of mythical global warming.

Surprise! Brooklyn Prosecutors Clear ACORN

Imagine my shock to find out a hack New York prosecutor like Charles Hynes cleared the criminal enterprise ACORN. You don't suppose this could be politically motivated?

Brooklyn prosecutors on Monday cleared ACORN of criminal wrongdoing after a four-month probe that began when undercover conservative activists filmed workers giving what appeared to be illegal advice on how to hide money.

While the video by James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles seemed to show three ACORN workers advising a prostitute how to hide ill-gotten gains, the unedited version was not as clear, according to a law enforcement source.

"They edited the tape to meet their agenda," said the source.

O'Keefe and Giles - who visited ACORN offices in several cities, including its Brooklyn headquarters - stirred controversy when they posted the videos on their Web site.

They were hailed as heroes by the likes of Rush Limbaugh and their footage led several government agencies to temporarily cut funding for ACORN as the prosecutors opened an investigation.

"On Sept. 15, 2009, my office began an investigation into possible criminality on the part of three ACORN employees," Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes said in a one-paragraph statement issued Monday afternoon.

"That investigation is now concluded and no criminality has been found."

Of course there's editing in the process. Has Hynes seen all of O'Keefe's footage? It will be interesting to see O'Keefe's response. If there's video Hynes did not see he'll have some explaining to do. I don't see any reaction at Big Government as of yet.

ACORN is now talking tough. Let's see how long that lasts.

"Acorn is gratified that the DA has concluded something we knew all along," ACORN lawyer Arthur Schwartz said, adding it was "unfortunate" the O'Keefe and Giles used "subterfuge to convince congress and the media to vilify an organization that didn't deserve it."

A smug Media Matters thug currently feuding with Andrew Breitbart, among others, is gloating.

Nigerian Taliban Denied Religious Expression

Geez, these police officers ought to be commended not arrested for conducting a pre-emptive strike on the Nigerian version of the Taliban.

I know, I know, we can't go down to the level of the enemy, but really all these officers are guilty of is not allowing the suicide bombers in training from completing their "religious" training and probably murdering scores of innocent civilians when they suffered their holy martyr's death by detonation.

Nigeria has arrested 17 policemen who were filmed apparently executing unarmed members of a radical Islamist sect during a deadly uprising last year, a police source said Monday.

The arrest followed the February 9 broadcast of a five-minute video by Al-Jazeera satellite station showing policemen shooting dead unarmed young men and teenagers outside police headquarters in the northern city of Maiduguri.

The victims are believed to belong to Boko Haram, a Nigerian Islamist sect styled on Afghanistan's Taliban that was behind an uprising in north Nigeria last July in which more than 800 people died, most of them sect members.

The article says tensions in the area have risen since Christians have started settling in the area. Now I wonder who is raising the tensions? Surely not that peace, love and sharia spouting fanatics who dress women in bags and execute them in the public square while turning a small profit by selling tickets to the events.

I know murder should not be condoned no matter what, but I just can't muster much sympathy for those killed.

The FBI records show that some Ivins acquaintances shared with the FBI e-mail and instant message communications exchanged with the scientist. It's official. Using the finely-tuned journalistic standards of the left, we can only conclude Ivins was spurred to murder due to the violent rhetoric and hate speech of those named above.

Can't blame Cheney. Can't blame Palin. Can't blame "teabaggers" for any of this.

Even worse, Ivins hated the Yankees.

A laboratory co-worker reported that Ivins hated the New York Yankees and thought New Yorkers were "elitist."

Funny, but as a Bronx native and Yankees fan I don't think I've ever been called an elitist.

'They’ve Never Liked Each Other'

Heartbreak in TV land. That hot Jan on Marcia reunion action you've all been hoping for has been shelved.

Here's the story ... of how two TV sisters are still not getting along after all these years.

"Brady Bunch" stars Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb are still not getting along, reportedly causing the cancelation of a televised reunion planned for this week.

All the actors who played the Brady kids were slated to do an interview Wednesday on NBC's "Today Show" -- but when McCormick and Plumb found out they were going to be on the same show, the reunion fell apart, sources told RadarOnline.com in article posted this morning on their Web site.

McCormick, who played the TV family's oldest sister Marcia Brady, revealed in a tell-all book in 2007 how she had a steamy on-set sexual relationship with Plumb, who played her younger sister Jan.

The book, titled "Here's the Story," shocked fans of the 1970s hit show when McCormick detailed how a small crush blossomed into a romantic and physically intimate relationship between the two "sisters."

Sources told RadarOnline that "the bottom line is that they didn’t want to be on the same show and the appearance was canceled because of it."

The source added that "some people blame Maureen and some people blame Eve.”

In November, Susan Olsen, who played little sister Cindy, spoke of the long-standing feud, saying she can sympathize with Plumb.

"I don't like there to be a rift in the family. I love them both and this means whenever we get together for any project there will only be one or the other. But I do understand Eve's point of view," Olsen told Fox News. "She got tired of Maureen gaining attention for herself by regurgitating the tiresome and false insinuations that they had a lesbian affair."

But another source said the feud goes back to the days when Jan's character would whine, "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia," each time her TV sister scored a date or made the cheerleading squad.

“But really the problems between them go back decades,” said the source who knows them. “They’ve never liked each other.

“And there have been many other events where Eve has said, ‘I’m not doing it if Maureen is doing it.’”

Last year, McCormick hoped the two could bury the hatchet.

"It's such a drag because I loved her," McCormick told Fox News. "I hope we can work it out."

I could see maybe if he was tired from getting too much action, but blaming a loss on watching too much porn? Why not just say you were beaten by the better man?

Running away with the gold medal for risque behaviour Norwegian cross-country skier Odd-Bjoern Hjelmeset tops the list of gaffes for blaming a bad ski run that cost him the gold medal on watching too much porn.

'My name is Odd-Bjoern Hjelmeset,' he said. 'I skied the second lap and I f***** up today. I think I have seen too much porn in the last 14 days.

Two Republican Congressmen From Georgia Call It Quits

The elections of 2010 keep shaping up to be something spectacular. It seems if there is one message that is getting through to the lawmakers, except for Nancy Pelosi, is the throw the bums out sentiment that is spreading across the country is real and getting more and more palpable.

Over the course of the last week two Republican Congressmen from Georgia have announced that they will not seek reelection. On Saturday it was John Linder, the biggest Fair Tax advocate in Washington, and now this morning Nathan Deal has announced he will not run again.

Deal becomes the second member of the state’s 13-seat congressional delegation to announce his retirement in the past few days. U.S. Rep. John Linder (R-Ga.) announced on Saturday he won’t seek re-election in November.

Deal is running for governor so this resignation is not totally unexpected, but he is not polling that well in the gubernatorial race.

Both are from what is classified as solidly Republican districts, but with the way the winds of this election year are blowing I don't think you can make those kind of assumptions. Ain't that right, Massachusetts?

This promises to be a interesting primary season.

I wish I could convince my Democrat representative to do the same thing.

UPDATE: In the case of Deal a special election will have to be held to replace him since his resignation is effective immediately.

Linder is simply not seeking reelection, but will retain his seat the rest of the session.

When Democrats Attack: White Plains Mayor Busted for Assaulting His Wife, Time to Play Name That Party

Of course if your source of information is the New York Times you'd have to play guess that party. Yes, the New York Times, the same paper that employs Frank Rich, the man who links suicidal Communist sympathizers to the Tea Party. I guess when they know the party of the person involved it's not relevant.

Well, at the least the New York Daily News mentions the fact Adam Bradley is a Democrat, even if they wait until the last sentence of the story. They and the NY Post are the only sources I can find practicing ethical journalism in this case.

The mayor of White Plains was charged with misdemeanor domestic assault Sunday after slamming a door on his wife's finger, cops said.

While acknowledging "problems in my marriage," Mayor Adam Bradley denied any wrongdoing Sunday night and insisted he would not resign.

"This unfortunate matter will in no way affect my commitment to the important work I am doing for this great city," Bradley said after his arraignment in White Plains City Court on a third-degree assault charge.

In the latest embarrassing incident involving a New York politician, Bradley's wife of seven years, Fumiko, told cops her left middle finger was injured Saturday night when her husband closed a door on her hand.

Fumiko Bradley refused to publicly discuss the incident, telling The Journal News her husband is "a great mayor" and "a great father."

"He put himself under a lot of pressure and I couldn't handle that, too," she added.

Just consider the unimaginable pressure of being the Mayor of White Plains. It's a wonder how he soldiers on.

The Associated Press also doesn't find it relevant that he's a Democrat. Neither does WABC TV, nor the local Westchester paper, the Lower Hudson News, nor does 1010 WINS.

Safe to say if he were a Republicans it would be in the first paragraph of every story.

'The Fact is What Mr. Rangel Has Been Admonished for is Not Good'

So says the reigning Queen of the most ethical Congress ever.

Rep. Charles Rangel was made aware that organizers of the Caribbean junkets he attended were grubbing for freebie plane tickets from corporate sponsors, according to a report from the House Ethics Committee.

In a letter dated April 23, 2007, and carbon-copied to Rangel, the head of the Carib News Foundation solicited American Airlines to donate 90 round-trip first-class and coach tickets to cover flights to its conference that year in Antigua and Barbuda. Rangel attended that junket and one in 2008.

The letter and an interview with Karl Rodney, CEO of the Carib News Foundation, were included in the House Ethics Committee report, which concluded that the Harlem congressman broke congressional rules by accepting junkets bankrolled by corporate sponsors.

Despite the admonishment, Rangel, 79, told The Post on Saturday that he wasn't giving up his seat.

"I'm going to run for re-election," he said.

Meanwhile, Rangel got a mild scolding yesterday from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who said his ethics lapse was "not good" but left wiggle room as to whether her longtime ally would retain the chair of Congress' tax-writing committee.

Rangel could face a vote as soon as this week to boot him from his perch atop the Ways and Means Committee.

Pelosi (D-Calif.) said that breaking House gift-ban rules by taking corporate-sponsored junkets to Caribbean hot spots was not as bad as other violations still under review by ethics investigators and that decisions about Rangel's fate should wait.

"The fact is what Mr. Rangel has been admonished for is not good. It was a violation of the rules of the House. It was not something that jeopardized our country in any way," Pelosi said on ABC's "This Week."

I'm so happy to see now that ethical and possible criminal transgressions now must rise to the level of jeopardizing the nation before anyone is removed from office. File that one away for fututre reference.

If Pelosi is dumb enough not to boot Rangel from his chairmanship then I eagerly await her cries of racism when he's made the poster boy for what has now become perhaps the Most Corrupt Congress Ever.

Hmmm: Which Democrats Are Illegally Visiting Cuba?

Granted, this is a blind item from Page Six, so take it with a grain of salt.

WHICH members of Congress make regular, secret visits to Cuba as guests of Fidel Castro, flying in from nearby islands? Their passports aren't stamped, so no one's the wiser.

From nearby islands, huh?

Well, if I were a betting man, Carribean kingpin Charlie "The Red" Rangel would certainly be atop the board. He sure is down that way enough. A certain friend of Hugo Chavez also could be a suspect. It's not unlikely Delahunt's good buddy Hugo could arrange for a side trip so they could visit Comrade Fidel.

Another hard left suspect also comes to mind.

Waters has also made international headlines for her frequent trips to communist Cuba to visit her convicted cop-assassin friend, Joanne Chesimard, who is also known by her Black Panther name of Assata Shakur. Chesimard was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted by a jury of the 1979 murder of a New Jersey State Trooper. With the help of fellow cult members, she escaped from jail and fled to Cuba.

Outraged U.S. lawmakers insisted she be extradited but Waters always stood by her side, likening the cop-assassin to civil rights leader Martin Luther King. In fact, she wrote Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro a letter to ensure that she was not part of the group of U.S. legislators who voted for a resolution to extradite the cop murderer. Waters told Castro that she opposed extradition because Chesimard was “politically persecuted” in the U.S. and simply seeking political asylum in Havana, where she still lives.

Whoever's leaking this information should names names.

Whatever the case, I'll simply use the mainstream media's standard of assigning guilt without evidence until we have further evidence.
