It's All About the Media

Poor things had to brave a snowstorm to go listen to their hero today and ran into a little trouble.

You have to love this headline:

Snowstorm puts W.H. press corps in danger

Some might argue that's a good thing.
According to the White House pool report, as the motorcade drove back to the White House after the president's speech, a medium-size tree branch snapped under the weight of the snow and fell on top of an SUV carrying photographers.

The windshield of the vehicle was reportedly covered in snow and the driver brought it to a stop. The limb was dragged off the roof and the vehicle returned safely to the White House.

An ambulance skidded and crashed into the same SUV earlier in the day. The crash only caused minor damage and there were no injuries, according to the pool report.
A couple of minor snafus and that put the White House press corps in danger? Or as Obama would call them, the White House press corpse.
