NJ Tea Party Looks to Recall Menendez

I wish them luck. It's doubtful this will get anywhere, but at least it will remind people Robert Menendez is a no-show senator and should get the boot in 2012. The same goes for that cadaver Frank Lautenberg.
A coalition of conservative activists wants to throw New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez out of office.

Members of the Tea Party movement have sued in New Jersey Superior Court asking to be allowed to start collecting the 1.3 million voter signatures it needs to get a recall on the ballot.

The Sussex County group takes issue with Menendez's support of health care reform and his opposition to limiting government's control.

Their lawyer, Dan Silberstein, said the group went to court after the Secretary of State failed to certify their petition.
New Jersey hasn't elected a Republican senator since 1972 and it's highly unlikely Menendez would ever be recalled. These folks would be better off focusing on finding a suitable challenger for him instead, although it's also unlikely a conservative meriting their approval could win statewide.
