More Good News for David Paterson

As if the accidental governor doesn't have enough political problem. Now he's got this news to deal with. If he needs to gracefully bow out of a race against Andrew Cuomo, this could do the trick.
Gov. Paterson's 15-year-old son was busted Tuesday for possession of a stolen credit card after cops caught him shooting dice with pals near his upper West Side school, authorities said.

The governor's son, a student at Beacon High School on W. 61st St., was arrested at about 3 p.m. and taken to the 20th Precinct, police source said.

Cops spotted the teen shooting dice on the sidewalk near his school. When officers searched his belongings, they found a credit card in someone else's name, traced it and determined it had been stolen, the source said.
Of course his son isn't the first offspring of a politician to find themselves in legal trouble. Though when you have an approval rating hovering near 20% and are almost assured of losing a primary to Andrew Cuomo this year, you don't quite have a reservoir of public goodwill to tap.
