GOP Outcasts Graciously Offer Advice to Tea Partiers

On one side you have backstabber Scott McClellan, a guy who endorsed Obama in 2008, letting us know how "divisive" the Tea Party is, and on the other side we have David Frum, who recently was drummed out of a conservative think tank for his relentless bashing of conservatives. So where do they show up? Why with the hapless Larry King on the rapidly deteriorating CNN.

McClellan obviously missed the news that the Tea Party is far more popular than Congress. He says they're "marginal" and have limited influence. If that's the case, why is everyone talking about them?

I have to laugh how Frum calls Larry King an important show. The dude is stuck in some 1992 time warp or something.

Crackpot Wexler: McClellan Book Justifies Cheney's Impeachment

There is no cure for Cheney Derangement Syndrome.

I recall this moron Wexler from the Clinton impeachment days and the Florida recount when Algore tried to swindle the 2000 election. He was a schmuck back then and is an even bigger idiot now.

Rep. Robert Wexler (D-Fla.), one of the most vocal opponents of the Bush administration on Capitol Hill, said Scott McClellan's book and testimony justify the beginning of impeachment hearings against Vice President Dick Cheney.

During questioning of McClellan, Wexler asked the former White House press secretary if he believed Bush authorized the leaking of Valerie Plame Wilson's name. When McClellan said no, Wexler said this meant that Cheney must have been the source of the leak, meaning Cheney was seeking to retaliate against the wife of an administration critic. In Wexler's view, this would be enough to support the initation [sic] of impeachment hearings against Cheney immediately.

How does one even explain such idiocy? Bush didn't do something, therefore it must be Cheney?

Dude, put down the crackpipe. The Bush administration is nearly over. Just go STFD and STFU.

Circus Time: Desperate Democrats To Have New Boytoy McClellan Testify

Talk about being unable to let go. Despite everyone on the planet knowing it was Richard Armitage who "leaked" the name of non-covert CIA employee Valerie Plame, the idiots in Congress plan to have the hapless Scott McClellan up to Congress to testify next week.

Expect gave-to-gavel coverage of this charade on PMSNBC and CNN.

President Bush's former spokesman, Scott McClellan, will testify before a House committee next week about whether Vice President Dick Cheney ordered him to make misleading public statements about the leaking of CIA agent Valerie Plame's identity.

McClellan will testify publicly and under oath before the House Judiciary Committee on June 20 about the White House's role in the leak and its response, his attorneys, Michael and Jane Tigar, said on Monday.

In his new book, "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception," McClellan said he was misled by others, possibly including Cheney, about the role of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby in the leak. McClellan has said publicly that Bush and Cheney "directed me to go out there and exonerate Scooter Libby."

The statements prompted House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, D-Mich., to invite McClellan to the hearing "concerning reported attempts to cover up the involvement of White House officials in the leak of" Plame's identity.

Plame's CIA identity was leaked to the news media by several top Bush administration officials in 2003, including Libby and former top White House political adviser Karl Rove. Last July, Bush commuted Libby's 2 1/2-year sentence, sparing him from serving any prison time after being convicted of perjury, obstructing justice and lying to the FBI.

Meanwhile, the certifiably insane Dennis Kucinich is still pushing impeachment. The tin-foil is wrapped a wee bit too tight on his skull.

Scott McClellan's 15 minutes of fame and usefulness to the leftwing media may have reached its crescendo when he appeared with the most psychotic member of the media.

Read the transcript if you have some brain cells you'd like to kill, but the self-aggrandizing host sums up his over-inflated sense of worth with this gem:

OLBERMANN: Scott McClellan, I don't want to get too fulsome on you, I don't think you're going to be dining out on the book for the rest of your life, but I think this is a primary document of American history. I hope Scott McClellan is reveling in the adoration of the far-left crowd that spent years savaging him. He'll be the toast of the liberal elite for, oh, about 48 hours and then he'll be kicked to the curb like yesterday's trash.

Then he'll have no friends, no self-respect and no future, except maybe as a political analyst on MSNBC. In other words, he's finished.

A real stunner to find out a George Soros operative is the brains behind the book.

Of course, the connections to Soros, while obvious, will do nothing to quell the well-organized hit on George W. Bush. And the other rats in Congress are falling right in line.

McClellan's credibility (or what little he ever had) will be shattered within days, he'll be exposed as the feckless, incompetent fraud that he is. But the ugly, angry left now has a little something more to bludgeon the president with.
