Tea Party More Popular Than Obama, Frank Rich Hardest Hit

A day after New York Times simpleton Frank Rich compared Barack Obama to Superman and declared him more popular than any politician, we get word today that the Tea Party, which isn't really a party at all, is more popular than his hero.
On major issues, 48% of voters say that the average Tea Party member is closer to their views than President Barack Obama. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 44% hold the opposite view and believe the president’s views are closer to their own.

Not surprisingly, Republicans overwhelmingly feel closer to the Tea Party and most Democrats say that their views are more like Obama’s. Among voters not affiliated with either major political party, 50% say they’re closer to the Tea Party while 38% side with the President.

The partisan divide is similar to that found in the President’s Job Approval Ratings and on the Generic Congressional Ballot.

“Unaffiliated voters are continuing the pattern they established in 2006 and 2008 of opposing the party in power,” notes Scott Rasmussen, president of Rasmussen Reports. In his new book, Scott makes the case that “the American people don’t want to be governed from the left, the right, or the center. They want to govern themselves.” In Search of Self-Governance has received positive reviews from across the political spectrum and is available at Rasmussen Reports and Amazon.com.

Eighty-seven percent (87%) of those in the Political Class say their views are closer to the president. The Obama Administration has created a significantly larger government and political role in the economy.
Now there's a stunner. The government slackers and layabouts are closer in view to Obama. Now wonder the only "jobs" being "created" are government jobs.

Considering these numbers it comes as no surprise that the primary focus of Obama and his media lackeys is discrediting the tea partiers, who much to their dismay aren't just a bunch of fringe outcasts.

Dozens Arrested After Tea Party Riot

Oh wait, this raucous outbreak of anger and violence didn't happen at a Tea Party? It wasn't a bunch of "angry, wild-eyed" white people fomenting violence? It was Democrat constituents in the bluest of blue cities in the nation?

Well, never mind then.
Scores of gangbangers marauded through Times Square and nearby streets last night, storming businesses and harrassing pedestrians as three people were shot in possibly related violence.

Hundreds of cops struggled to disperse the youths. Police made 54 arrests on a variety of charges, including disorderly conduct.

One man was shot in the ankle on West 41st Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues.

Early this morning two people were shot at 34th Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues. Their conditions were not immediately known. Twenty young men were seen fleeing the scene.

And a woman was hit by a bb pellet at West 51st Street and Seventh Avenue. Her wound was not life-threatening, authorities said.

Police were trying to determine whether the three incidents were related to the disturbances.

A cop trying to break up a rowdy group of youths outside the police substation at West 42nd Street was taken away on a stretcher after he sustained a knee injury.

"This kind of nonsense [on Easter night] has been going on for the five years I've been here," said a security guard at a business on West 42nd Street, who asked not to be identified.

"The police try to maintain the crowd, but while one side of the street is maintained, on the other side of the street, a fight breaks out."
Funny, but I see zero mention of this story in the New York Times, whose offices are right in that neighborhood. Guess they're busy "reporting" on some non-stories and fabricated racial hoaxes perpetrated by Democrats.

Update: I see the Times finally noted this story with an item posted at 4:27 this afternoon.

Suicide Watch at DNC HQ: Four in 10 Tea Partiers Independents or Democrats

Go ahead, Democrats and your media lapdogs, keep insulting and smearing the tea partiers. Come November your obliteration will make 1994 look tame by comparison. Of course they'll probably just scoff at this poll and just continue to dig a bigger hole. I say have at it.
Four in 10 Tea Party members are either Democrats or Independents, according to a new national survey.

The findings provide one of the most detailed portraits to date of the grassroots movement that started last year.

The national breakdown of the Tea Party composition is 57 percent Republican, 28 percent Independent and 13 percent Democratic, according to three national polls by the Winston Group, a Republican-leaning firm that conducted the surveys on behalf of an education advocacy group. Two-thirds of the group call themselves conservative, 26 are moderate and 8 percent say they are liberal.

The Winston Group conducted three national telephone surveys of 1,000 registered voters between December and February. Of those polled, 17 percent – more than 500 people -- said they were “part of the Tea Party movement.”

“It’s a good sample size,” said David Winston, the polling firm’s director. “It will certainly give us an initial base to follow where these folks are.”

The group is united around two issues – the economy/jobs and reducing the deficit
. They believe that cutting spending is the key to job creation and favor tax cuts as the best way to stimulate the economy. That said 61 percent of Tea Party members believe infrastructure spending creates jobs. Moreover, given the choice Tea Party members favor 63-32 reducing unemployment to 5 percent over balancing the budget.

It isn’t a “purely homogeneous” group, said Winston.

The group has a favorable view of Republicans generally but that drops from 71 to 57 percent if they’re asked about Congressional Republicans. Congressional Democrats are viewed very unfavorably by 75 percent of Tea Party members – a uniquely strong antipathy. An overwhelming 95 percent said “Democrats are taxing, spending, and borrowing too much.”

The group also vehemently dislikes President Barack Obama – even more so than those who called themselves Republicans in the survey. Over 80 percent of Tea Party members disapprove of the job he’s doing as president, whereas 77 percent of Republican respondents said they disapprove of Obama. The Tea Party members are also strongly opposed to the Democrats’ healthcare plan, with 82 percent saying they oppose it -- only 48 percent of respondents overall were opposed.
It's interesting to note that job creation and deficit reduction are the two primary issues motivating those polled. Democrats used to pay lip service to the deficit when it suited them and Obama has pretended to care about creating jobs while overseeing the loss of millions of them. The media mantra that it was all about taxes doesn't seem to wash.

It sure doesn't seem like the pathetic attempts at portraying tea partiers as a bunch of racist, violent extremists is bearing much fruit.

Speaking of which, after that alleged wave of violence against Democrats following their ramming of the healthcare scam down our throats, why is it we haven't seen a single arrest?

Not only that, the whole fabricated racial epithet hoax seems to be falling apart by the minute.

New York's Political Crime Wave Blamed on New Jersey

What do all these corrupt New York politicians have in common? They're all Democrats, of course. So rather than take ownership of these lowlifes, New York Daily News columnist Michael Daly loses control of his sense and blames their action on New York's proximity to New Jersey.

Sure, that makes perfect sense.
In times past, we could gaze across the Hudson River and give thanks that it separated us from the cesspool of corruption known as the State of New Jersey.

Lately, the bridges and tunnels span two realms that no longer seem so different.

Every day seems to bring word of some new investigation into yet another New York official.

Bernard Kerik came from New Jersey, but we made him the NYPD commissioner and even named a jail after him before he pleaded guilty to eight felonies.

New Yorkers convicted of corruption include former state Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno, former state Controller Alan Hevesi, former Liberal Party head Ray Harding, former Brooklyn Democratic boss Clarence Norman, four former state legislators and a former city councilman.

Another city councilman, Larry Seabrook (D-Bronx), has been charged with a crime spree involving more than $500,000. “Cash and Carry Larry” at one point allegedly doctored a receipt so he would be reimbursed $177 for a $7 bagel and soda.

“Bagels can be expensive,” his lawyer actually said.

Among those under investigation are Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-Queens), along with former Rep. Floyd Flake, state Senate President Malcolm Smith (D-Queens), state Senate Majority Leader Pedro Espada Jr. (D-Bronx), Assemblyman Peter Rivera (D-Bronx), Assemblywoman Carmen Arroyo (D-Bronx) and Queens Borough President Helen Marshall. Hevesi is being eyed in a “pay-to-play” scandal unrelated to the crime for which he has already been convicted.

No longer can we hear of a New Jersey official such as the one in Millville who was arrested for stealing $20,000 in Little League funds and tell ourselves such a thing could happen only across the Hudson.

Our own former assemblyman and labor leader Brian McLaughlin of Queens out Jersey-ed Jersey by stealing $95,000 from the Eastchester Little League. McLaughlin also pocketed more than $2 million in taxpayer funds and he is presently serving a 10-year federal prison term [Note McLaughlin is also a Democrat--ed.].

He would have gotten 15 years, but he agreed to introduce an undercover FBI agent posing as a businessman to then-Assemblyman Anthony Seminerio (D-Queens).

The result was that Seminerio got an 11- to 14-year term for shaking down various businesses and nonprofit groups for over $1 million in “consulting fees.” His victims included Jamaica Hospital.

“You tell me what you want and I’ll take care of you,” Seminerio was recorded as saying.

In further proof that we can sink as low or even lower than Jersey, former City Councilman Miguel Martinez (D-Manhattan) was convicted of pocketing money intended for a children’s arts fund.
Of all those listed he makes sure to mention Joe Bruno and Bernie Kerik first. How kind of him. The overwhelming majority of these crooks are Democrats, naturally.

Having lived in both state, trust me when I tell you the crooked pols in New Jersey are pikers next to these rogues in New York State.

'A Slice of Heaven'

Some folks will do anything to get attention.
THE shop owners call it clever marketing, the locals call it pornography.

The cut-out drawing of a naked woman with a pizza slice covering her nether regions in the window of Pizza Supremo in Murray Bridge has had tongues wagging.

But owners Damien Eve, 37, and Sarah Budarick, 35, who have had to remove the artwork after a visit from the police, say they don't know what all the fuss is about.

They moved into the Swanport Rd premises earlier this year and proudly displayed the eye-catching piece - painted by Mrs Budarick and entitled "A Slice of Heaven" - above the shop's verandah.

But since then, there have been complaints about the sign, with residents describing it as offensive and even porn.

Gloria Booker, Murray Bridge Council's manager of development and environmental services, told the Sunday Mail she had received four written complaints and six phone calls about the sign on Pizza Supremo's roof, which is close to a primary school.

"May I remind the council that teen and childhood pregnancy is on the rise and this form of advertising only increases curiosity in children and leaves them vulnerable to exploitation, sexually transmitted diseases and infectations (sic)," one concerned mother wrote.
I wonder if they have an extra sausage pie?

New Taxes Crushing Small Businesses

For all the blather from Obama the other day that we're "turning the corner" from the recession with the addition of temporary government jobs, the reality if more and more small businesses are in danger of going under due to the onerous taxatation being piled on top of them.

America's jobs growth engine is being choked to death.

A record 25 percent increase in the taxes against US small businesses -- from costs associated with new health care law, to an increased Medicare tax, increased capital gains taxes and higher state and city taxes -- is repealing any ability of these entrepreneurs to add jobs to their payroll.

And the numbers for New York's small- to medium-sized business are just as harrowing.

By one estimate, the effective tax rate on the 26 million small businesses across the country -- which in the past have accounted for more than half of the job growth in the US -- has jumped to 50 percent from 40 percent, sucking valuable cash from the businesses.
But I though taxes weren't going up? Well, if you get your information from Obama's lapdog media you probably won't know any of this.
The 26 million small businesses in the US — like Eneslow Shoes, headed by CEO Robert Schwartz—are getting buried under an avalanche of new taxes, which include:

* An increase of 4.6% in federal taxes from 35% to 39.6% (expiration of Bush tax cuts)

* An increase in capital gains taxes from 15% to 20% (expiration of Bush tax cuts)

* A new tax of 3.85% on investment income, dividends, rents, royalties mandated in the new health care bill

* An increase in the Medicare payroll tax to 2.35% as mandated in the new health care bill

* In states like New Jersey and others, state and municipal taxes have been raised by the average of almost 2%
So before any of the joys of ObamaCare are so graciously bestowed upon the great unwashed, everyone is already getting crushed by the tax burden.

No wonder tea partiers are more popular than Congress and why the Democrats and the media are in overdrive trying to discredit them.

Get Credit Card Relief Last Year? Now Your Tab Comes Due

I'm woondering whether the millions of people who unloaded bad debt in 2009 have any clue they're about to get socked come tax day. Probably not if they're Obama voters, since he's supposed to be paying mortgages and buying gas for them or something.
Roughly two million embattled Americans got credit-card relief last year -- getting banks to cut their huge card balances, thus allowing them to crawl out from under the giant debt bus and get on with their lives.

Well, surprise, here comes a second bus to run them down: that forgiven debt is considered income and Uncle Sam wants his share.

That's right, two million temporarily overjoyed people are going to have to pay income tax on the forgiven debt.

Which means, if someone got $10,000 in credit-card debt written off by their bank in 2009, they could owe $2,500 come April 15.
Maybe they'll just put it on the credit cards.

Al Sharpton Was Unavailable for Comment

Apparently there aren't any white people to blame for this savagery.
Two adults and three juveniles have been charged with gang-raping a 7-year-old girl who was sold by her 15-year-old stepsister during a party at a crime-ridden apartment building, police said today.

Details on the arrests were announced at news conference tonight at police headquarters in Trenton, the state's capital city.

The arrested people include a 20-year-old man who already had been charged Friday with having sex with the 15-year-old. The other four are a 19-year-old Trenton man and boys ages 13, 14 and 17. Each was charged with aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment.

Police said further arrests may be made in the case, which shocked residents of the gritty Rowan Towers apartment building.

Authorities say the 7-year-old girl was offered for sale by her stepsister on March 28. They say the stepsister went to a party with some men at Rowan Towers and the younger girl tagged along because she worried about her stepsister's safety.

Police say the 15-year-old sold sex to men, then took money to let them touch the younger girl. They say touching turned to forcible sex as at least seven men raped the 7-year-old.

Before Saturday's arrest announcement, the 15-year-old had been charged with promoting prostitution, aggravated sexual assault and other crimes; police have not released her name, and she remained in juvenile detention Saturday night.

Mayor Doug Palmer said he met with the victim's relatives at his office on Thursday to offer help and make sure they were able to move out of the neighborhood over safety concerns.

Palmer met with the parents, the 7-year-old girl and her two younger siblings. The woman is the mother of the 7-year-old girl, and the man she lives with is the father of the 15-year-old. The man and woman also have two toddlers together.

Police earlier in the week were urging residents to come forward, but neighbors said they were scared of retaliation from gangs that prowl the streets if they spoke up.

Missing Link Between Humans and Apes Discovered

Here's the first photo of the missing link.

Obama Voter: 'I Feel Lied To, Cheated and Raped'

The increasingly unpopular Barack Obama isn't going to like such vitriol, especially when it's coming from a woman who voted for him.
Ann Ducket attended the Tea Party rally in Grand Junction, Colorado, on Wednesday.

A lawyer and lifelong Democrat, Ducket made her political leanings clear: She said she was a campus community organizer for Democratic Sen. George McGovern's 1972 presidential campaign, voted for Jimmy Carter and Al Gore, and previously ran for elective office in Colorado as a Democrat.

"I was a card-carrying member of the ACLU, and I probably did inhale in college," Ducket said.

Ducket, who is now an independent and did not vote for Obama, said the president has "carried things to an extreme."

"I think we've gone too far on the side of government doing too much," Ducket said. "The Democratic Party is wanting to take care of everyone, instead of helping everybody stand on their own two feet."

Roxanne Lewis expressed a similar point of view. A small business owner in Grand Junction, Lewis described herself as a lifelong Democrat and called the president a "phenomenal speaker." She voted for him because she "believed in what he was saying: change."

But, Lewis added, "I should've listened a lot closer when he talked about 'spreading the wealth.' "

Asked how she feels about having voted for the president, Lewis said "I feel lied to, cheated and raped."

Lewis criticized the taxpayer-funded bailouts of financial institutions, which began under former President George W. Bush, and the bailout of General Motors and Chrysler.

"These are not the Democrats that I have been brought up with," Lewis said. However, she said she will continue to be a Democrat.
Even after being "raped" by one?

Palin's Fox Show Crushes the Cable Competition

Naturally it's spun here as performing modestly.
Sarah Palin’s Real American Stories performed modestly for Fox News on Thursday night. Its 2.073 million viewers and 472,000 adults 25-54 dwarfed the competition, but compared to On the Record with Greta last Thursday at 10pm, there was nothing special about Palin’s ratings. Last Thursday Greta averaged 2.3 million viewers and 654,000 adults 25-54.

Whether it was the upcoming Good Friday and Easter holiday, TV viewing was down a bit in general and all the broadcast networks took it on the chin.
It performed modestly, yet it dwarfed the competition. OK. Sure, it didn't get the same numbers as Greta Van Susteren in the same slot the week before, probably since it wasn't a live news program. But to say it performed modestly is pretty weak.

Drudge has the nightly numbers:
FOXNEWS O'REILLY 2,981,000
FOXNEWS HANNITY 2,256,000
FOXNEWS PALIN 2,073,000
FOXNEWS BECK 2,014,000
FOXNEWS BAIER 1,877,000
FOXNEWS SHEP 1,658,000
MSNBC OLBERMANN 989,000
MSNBC MADDOW 950,000
CNN KING 839,000
CNN COOPER 820,000
CNNHN BEHAR 641,000
She drew more viewers than Glenn Beck and two other news program, but it was modest. She more than doubled Olberdork and Maddow, but it was modest. Olberfraud would be doing cartwheels if he even approached such modest numbers. She more than tripled the inane Joyless Behar, but the numbers were modest. She obliterated Anderson Cooper in the same timeslot, yet her numbers were modest. If any other politician drew numbers even comparable we'd be told they were a juggernaut heading for stardom.

But Palin gets over two million viewers and her numbers were modest.

Cheesy Grayson Shamelessly Plays Race Card With Anti-Obama Doctor

Expect nothing less from the odious Alan Grayson. After this doctor created a furor with his anti-Obama message yesterday he pretty much backed off after getting his point across and said he would treat anyone.

But that's not stopping clown bombthrower Alan Grayson (a/k/a/ Fred Flintstone) from whipping out the race card in record time.
"Well, in fact, where he lives, in Mount Dora, which is in my district, many, many of the Democrats who live in Mount Dora happen to be African-Americans," Grayson said on CNN. "So, by saying that he will not treat somebody who supported Obama, he's saying that he's not going to treat a large number of African-Americans in the community."

Grayson, a freshman who represents a Republican-leaning district, gained national attention during the healthcare debate last year when he said the GOP's healthcare plan was for seniors to "die quickly."

Cassell has said that he is not violating medical ethics rules.

"I'm not turning anybody away — that would be unethical," Cassell, 56, told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday. "But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it."

But Grayson said that he was violating the rules and that he will probably be disciplined by medical licensing authorities.

"How many people walked in -- walked up to his front door, saw the sign, and turned away?" he asked. "How many people referred from other physicians in the community, including primary care physicians, how many patients saw that sign and walked away?"

Asked what kind of punishment Cassell should receive, Grayson said "Well, whatever the medical authorities think he should get. But it is a clear violation of ethics, and it's a particularly ugly one. Why is it that the right wing is so preoccupied with denying people health? Why is that?"
Does Grayson even bother to check with the doctor himself or is he simply preoccupied with trashing Republicans and chance he gets, facts be damned? Is there a single "rightwing" doctor out there who is actually denying health care to anyone? Is there a single person in this country that needs help and does not actually get it? Of course not. If there was you can be assured buffoons like Grayson would be trotting them out for exploitation. A wealthy liberal like himself wouldn't dig into his own pocket to help someone out, but he's more than happy to bash Republicans without having the facts.

Let's hope Grayson's constituents have tired of this lame act and elect someone else.

Update: A comment from Matthew Gunnoe, the campaign manager for Dan Fanelli.
This is the type of trial-lawyer manipulation that has helped
net Grayson millions.

Where, in that famous little sign, does it say: If you’re black, I’m not going to treat you?

Nowhere.

This is Just Typical of a liberal to create an alternate reality
for political gain.

This is aside from the argument as to whether or not Dr. Cassell is refusing treatment of Obama supporters, which he denies. He stated clearly that he would not refuse any patient the best care; he’s only letting them know where he stands on Obamacare.

But that controversy’s not inciteful enough on its own; nofolks, this is now being turned into racism courtesy of Grayson.

Post-Racial President Renounces His White Half

I guess he doesn't want anything to do with the white side of his family.
It is official: Barack Obama is the nation’s first black president.

A White House spokesman confirmed that Mr. Obama, the son of a black father from Kenya and a white mother from Kansas, checked African-American on the 2010 census questionnaire.

The president, who was born in Hawaii and raised there and in Indonesia, had more than a dozen options in responding to Question 9, about race. He chose “Black, African Am., or Negro.” (The anachronistic “Negro” was retained on the 2010 form because the Census Bureau believes that some older blacks still refer to themselves that way.)

Mr. Obama could have checked white, checked both black and white, or checked the last category on the form, “some other race,” which he would then have been asked to identify in writing.

There is no category specifically for mixed race or biracial.

Seventeen Minutes to Say Nothing

I realize the guy is full of hot air, but how on earth does it take someone over 17 minutes to answer a simple question? He really does like the sound of his own voice, I guess.
Even by President Obama's loquacious standards, an answer he gave here on health care Friday was a doozy.

Toward the end of a question-and-answer session with workers at an advanced battery technology manufacturer, a woman named Doris stood to ask the president whether it was a "wise decision to add more taxes to us with the health care" package.

"We are overtaxed as it is," Doris said bluntly.

Obama started out feisty. "Well, let's talk about that, because this is an area where there's been just a whole lot of misinformation, and I'm going to have to work hard over the next several months to clean up a lot of the misapprehensions that people have," the president said.

He then spent the next 17 minutes and 12 seconds lulling the crowd into a daze. His discursive answer -- more than 2,500 words long -- wandered from topic to topic, including commentary on the deficit, pay-as-you-go rules passed by Congress, Congressional Budget Office reports on Medicare waste, COBRA coverage, the Recovery Act and Federal Medical Assistance Percentages (he referred to this last item by its inside-the-Beltway name, "F-Map"). He talked about the notion of eliminating foreign aid (not worth it, he said). He invoked Warren Buffett, earmarks and the payroll tax that funds Medicare (referring to it, in fluent Washington lingo, as "FICA").

Always fond of lists, Obama ticked off his approach to health care -- twice. "Number one is that we are the only -- we have been, up until last week, the only advanced country that allows 50 million of its citizens to not have any health insurance," he said.
Wait a minute. Fifty million? Last week it was 32 million. How does this guy get away with such fabrications?
A few minutes later he got to the next point, which seemed awfully similar to the first. "Number two, you don't know who might end up being in that situation," he said, then carried on explaining further still.

"Point number three is that the way insurance companies have been operating, even if you've got health insurance, you don't always know what you got, because what has been increasingly the practice is that if you're not lucky enough to work for a big company that is a big pool, that essentially is almost a self-insurer, then what's happening is, is you're going out on the marketplace, you may be buying insurance, you think you're covered, but then when you get sick they decide to drop the insurance right when you need it," Obama continued, winding on with the answer.

Halfway through, an audience member on the riser yawned.
Surely some folks fell asleep over the next half of his answer.

It seems if he had the slightest clue as to what he was talking about he could wrap it up in, oh, maybe two or three minutes?

Story of My Life

I saw these guys in a club, in North Hollywood if I recall correctly, maybe 25 years ago, before this song was actually released. Talk about a blast from the past. Had long forgotten about them until I heard this song in the credit to the Adam Carolla movie, The Hammer, which is actually pretty amusing if you get a chance to see it. It pops up on some of the HBO channels now and then, Anyway, Social Distortion also does a cool cover of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire as well. Here's a live version of that. These guys have held up pretty well. Well actually, it's only Mike Ness who's left, and he's still hanging in there. Enjoy this live version from 1997.

Militia Morons Had Little Influence

Not only did we find out today that one of these militia clowns is a registered Democrat, but now it's reported they had a very limited sphere of influence. Quick, someone alert Frank Rich before he embarrasses himself with his next screed.
The leader of a self-proclaimed group of "Christian warriors" had lofty ambitions: Set up chapters around the U.S., stockpile a massive cache of weapons and even establish his own country as he prepared to battle the Antichrist, authorities say.

David Brian Stone never got too far in his plans. His influence didn't appear to extend much beyond a close circle of family and friends, and associates say other militias refused to come to his defense during raids late last month.

"These guys may have felt in their mind that they were a part of this brotherhood," said Andrew Arena, head of the FBI in Detroit. "The reality is I don't think they've got a whole lot of support."

Stone, his two sons, wife and five others were arrested after the raids in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio and charged with seditious conspiracy, attempting to use weapons of mass destruction and other crimes. Authorities say the nine, who were members of the Christian militia called Hutaree, were plotting to kill police officers in hope of sparking an anti-government revolution.

A federal judge in Michigan on Friday ordered eight of the suspects, including Stone, to remain locked up until trial. The ninth suspect is being held in Indiana. Defense attorney James Thomas, who appealed the judge's ruling, said while the charges are serious, "the indictment is nothing more than a piece of paper."
So much for the lamestream media meme that nine buffoons playing GI Joe out in the woods pose some grave threat to America.

A despondent Keith Olbermann was unavailable for comment.

First Person in Line for an iPad? Why, Greg Packer, Of Course

This pathetic slob is everywhere.
NYC residents planning to line up for the iPad will likely get a whiff of Greg Packer, who has been camping three days to buy Apple’s new tablet.

This isn’t the first time Packer, a retired Long Island highway maintenance worker, has committed to being first in line for an Apple product, either. He also camped out in front of the NYC Apple Store for the original iPhone in 2007.

Actually, he’s been first in line for a lot of things non-Apple-related as well, as Gawker points out:

•The Super Bowl victory rally for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2006
•The Super Bowl victory rally of the New York Giants
•The 2005 release of the novel Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
•Bill Clinton’s first book signing
•Greeting President George W. Bush after his inauguration
He's everywhere.

Real Life Hamburglar Too Fat to Lock Up: 'The Beef Jerky Got Me'

The fat bastard makes Michael Moore look like the picture of health.
A 43-stone man found guilty of scamming restaurants out of food has escaped a jail term - because he is too fat.

Morbidly obese George Jolicur ordered huge meals and ate most of them before complaining about the products and sending them back. He would then refuse to pay.

In one episode he scammed five free milkshakes from a restaurant after consuming an entire drink before complaining that the milk was off.

Jolicur, 38, was finally caught after eating almost £30 worth of jerky in a restaurant before returning the last few pieces, claiming they were mouldy. The shop owner went to police.

When officers went to his home to arrest him, they described hearing 'what sounded like a male trying to cover his voice as a female.'

The person told police Jolicur was not there - but policeman Jeff Sabounji then heard a woman inside the house saying: 'George, just turn yourself in.'

On the way to prison, Jolicur, of Sandford, Florida, turned to Sabounji and said: 'The beef jerky got me.'

He avoided jail because he is so fat the medical costs of imprisoning him would be too great.

He is now bedridden, breaths with the aid of a respirator, and could not even attend court to be sentenced. Prosecutors said it would cost thousands in medical fees just to bring him before a judge.
On the upside, he's now got ObamaCare to look after him.

Gallup: Views of Pelosi Not Fundamentally Changed; Translation: People Still Despise Her

Nice way to spin a poll on a woman even more disliked than King Barack and about as popular as flaming rectal itch.
Americans' views of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are not fundamentally changed after the passage of healthcare reform. Though more Americans now have an opinion of her, both her favorable and her unfavorable ratings are up from the last reading, to 36% and 54%, respectively.

The currently net-negative view of Pelosi from the March 26-28 USA Today/Gallup poll stands in stark contrast to opinions of her as she became speaker of the House in January 2007. At that time, twice as many Americans viewed her favorably (44%) as unfavorably (22%).

Opinions of Pelosi grew more negative over the course of her first two years as speaker, such that about as many Americans viewed her favorably as unfavorably. During the last year, Americans' views have become much more negative than positive.
Yeah, no fundamental changes there. Her negative rating is down only 32% in three years.

Jason Mattera on Imus in the Morning

I heard this interview during my drive this morning. Here it is in two parts. You've got to love this kid.

Uh Oh: Militia Member a Registered Democrat

Well, look what we've got here. A militia member from the party of Obama.

Keith Olbermann hardest hit.
Most of the indicted militia members accused of being anti-government extremists have active voting records, a check with area voter registration offices showed yesterday.

One is a registered Democrat, and the party affiliations of the rest could not be determined.

Jacob J. Ward, 33, of Huron, Ohio, voted as a Democrat in the 2004 and 2008 primary elections, and in 10 other elections since 2000. Voters' political affiliations in Ohio are determined by which party's ballot they request during even-year primary elections.

Alleged ringleader David Brian Stone, Sr., 45, of Clayton, Mich., registered in Lenawee County, Michigan, in 1998, and last voted in the 2004 general election.

His, and other Michigan voters' party affiliations, if any, are not public records because of Michigan's open primary elections, officials said.
Be assured if they were Republicans it would be national news 24/7.

Obama Chuckles When Vitriol Is Directed at Rush Limbaugh

Comparing Rush Limbaugh to Osama bin Laden, cracking Oxycontin jokes and hoping he dies has Barack Obama hysterical with laughter.
Yet now he's suddenly concerned that Limbaugh is full of vitriol.

Can you say hypocrisy, boys and girls?

Republican Governors Receive 'Threatening' Letter From Extremist Group, Lefty Blog Sniffs Out Rightwing Plot

Some heretofore unheard of group calling itself the Guardians of the Free Republics is apparently sending around letters to governors across the country, including one to Republican Governor Jim Gibbons of Nevada, telling them to resign from office.
The FBI confirmed today that it sent an advisory to Nevada and other states notifying authorities of an extremist group's demand to remove governors from office, but said federal officials did not believe the group was an "immediate or credible" threat of violence.

Stricter security measures were put in place in the Nevada Capitol this week after police received a letter addressed to Gov. Jim Gibbons, telling him to resign his office. It made a reference to "commandeering" the office if Gibbons declined.

"The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are not aware of any immediate or credible threats of violence as part of this group's plan," said FBI special agent Joseph Dickey.

Dickey described the group behind the letter as a "sovereign citizen extremist group." He said individuals in the group reject all forms of government authority - paying taxes and obeying state and federal laws.
Naturally, after both Republicans and Democrats received these letters a leftwing blog immediately declared this trouble for conservatives. Do these idiots even think it out before they post this nonsense?

Republican Bobby Jindal also received one of these letters. But somehow this is a rightwing plot? Virginia's Republican Governor Bob McDonnell also got one, as did Georgia's Republican Governor Sonny Perdue. If this is some threat to the left, why are Republicans governors getting these letters?

Reflexively, the media runs to the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center for reaction and works Tim McVeigh into the story.
A spokesman for the Southern Poverty Law Center, an Alabama-based nonprofit that monitors extremist groups, told the Register that the letters seem to be part of a trend "in an explosion in extremism on the far right." As examples, he cited people throwing bricks through Democratic offices after the health care vote to a tax protester flying an airplane into an IRS office in Texas in February.

Between 2008 and 2009, the number of extremist anti-government groups grew from 149 to 512, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. One adherent of the loosely affiliated sovereign citizens movement, according to the Anti-Defamation League, was Terry Nichols, an accomplice to Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.
Of course the nut who flew the plane into the IRS building was reciting Communist credo, but we're not supposed to mention that, I guess.

Man Who Should Have Been Dead Months Ago Celebrates His Birthday

By my estimation this piece of garbage should have been dead back in November. Those idiots in Scotland really look pretty stupid now, don't they?
The Lockerbie bomber celebrated his 58th birthday on Thursday at a Libyan mansion, defying the imminent death Scottish officials predicted when they compassionately freed him from prison nearly eight months ago.

The thought of Abdelbaset Al-Megrahi partying with family and friends - reportedly thanking God for his survival - left his victims' loved ones sick to their stomachs.

"It's absolutely despicable. It's horrific because my daughter had only 20 birthdays," said Susan Cohen of Cape May, N.J.

Cohen's daughter, Theodora, a student at Syracuse University, was among 270 killed Dec. 21, 1988, when Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed in midair over Lockerbie, Scotland.

"I actually had my birthday on the 27th [of March], and this is a pretty awful late birthday present," said Cohen, 72.

Megrahi, the only terrorist convicted of the bombing, was sentenced to life in prison in 2001 for assisting in the mass-murder bombing.

Diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer while doing time, Megrahi was released in August by Scottish authorities, who were assured by doctors that he had less than three months to live.

An ex-Libyan intelligence officer, Megrahi was given a hero's welcome home, where he's been embraced by Libyan President Moammar Khadafy and has apparently been on the mend.

"Since returning to the love of family and friends, he has made a remarkable recovery," a diplomatic source told the (London) Daily Mail.
They're starting to become a little concerned about damaged reputations in Scotland now. Gee, I wonder why?

Urologist Tells Obama Voters to Piss Off

Oh my.
A doctor who considers the national health-care overhaul to be bad medicine for the country posted a sign on his office door telling patients who voted for President Barack Obama to seek care "elsewhere."

"I'm not turning anybody away — that would be unethical," Dr. Jack Cassell, 56, a Mount Dora urologist and a registered Republican opposed to the health plan, told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday. "But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it."

The sign reads: "If you voted for Obama … seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years."

Estella Chatman, 67, of Eustis, whose daughter snapped a photo of the typewritten sign, sent the picture to U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, the Orlando Democrat who riled Republicans last year when he characterized the GOP's idea of health care as, "If you get sick, America … Die quickly."

Chatman said she heard about the sign from a friend referred to Cassell after his physician recently died. She said her friend did not want to speak to a reporter but was dismayed by Cassell's sign.

"He's going to find another doctor," she said.

Cassell may be walking a thin line between his right to free speech and his professional obligation, said William Allen, professor of bioethics, law and medical professionalism at the University of Florida's College of Medicine.

Allen said doctors cannot refuse patients on the basis of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or disability, but political preference is not one of the legally protected categories specified in civil-rights law. By insisting he does not quiz his patients about their politics and has not turned away patients based on their vote, the doctor is "trying to hold onto the nub of his ethical obligation," Allen said.

"But this is pushing the limit," he said.
Yes, but shoving a hugely unpopular law down the throats of the American people against our will isn't "pushing the limit" I suppose.
Cassell, whose lawyer wife, Leslie Campione, has declared herself a Republican candidate for Lake County commissioner, said three patients have complained, but most have been "overwhelmingly supportive" of his position.

"They know it's not good for them," he said.
Hot Air links. Thanks!

DNC Looks to Cash In On Biden's Idiocy

Geez, these people have no shame.
There are things that are a big deal -- birthdays, anniversaries, the NCAA Championship game. And then there are things that are a BFD, like delivering health insurance to 32 million Americans. We worked hard together to make health reform a reality, and now you can celebrate this historic victory with this shirt.
Apparently the morons are buying the shirt.

Speaking of Biden, what's the deal with this slobbering mash note at Newsweek? It's almost at Milbankian levels of idiocy.

Jerry Brown: ACORN Engaged in 'Highly Inappropriate Behavior'

According to Attorney General Moonbeam, "highly inappropriate behavior" doesn't amount to criminal behavior. I guess the leftwing thugs who support the criminal enterprise formerly known as ACORN will consider this a victory or something.
Some members of the community organizing group ACORN engaged in "highly inappropriate behavior," but did not break any criminal laws, according to a report released Thursday by Attorney General Jerry Brown that includes newly obtained videotapes.

The report also uncovered "likely violations" of state civil laws designed to protect personal information, including dumping 500 pages of confidential records into a Dumpster, failure to file a 2007 tax return, and four instances of possible voter registration fraud by ACORN in San Diego in connection with the 2008 election, as well as other irregularities in the group's California operations.
So there are "likely violations" os state civil laws but nobody will be prosecuted?
Those irregularities have been referred to the appropriate authorities, Brown said.

"A few ACORN members exhibited terrible judgment and highly inappropriate behavior in videotapes obtained in the investigation, but they didn't commit prosecutable crimes in California," said Brown, the presumptive Democratic gubernatorial nominee.
I guess Brown doesn't want to alienate his future campaign workers.

Racism In Georgia

There has been a court case ongoing in Dekalb county, Georgia for a while that recently concluded and the jury decided that racism is alive and well. You won't find too many ACLU or other civil rights attorneys crowing about it though. You see in this case, like in another previous case in the area, the defendants were of a dark skinned persuasion.
A federal jury has awarded damages of more than $170,000 to two former parks department workers who filed a lawsuit claiming that DeKalb County officials sought to replace white employees with black ones. The jury's verdict Thursday found that former DeKalb chief executive Vernon Jones, his one-time top aide Richard Stogner, a former parks director and DeKalb County itself were liable for damages.
The main defendant in this case was Vernon Jones, a Democrat lap dog with a long and checkered history of run ins with the law and scandals. He has been investigated for everything from using county assets to run background checks on people who dared cross swords with him to rape. Very few of the previous cases ever made it to court, either because witnesses and victims alike suddenly either dropped charges or decided not to testify, but this time the plantiffs did not back down.

This case involved the firing of several, actually most, whites in high level positions in the county after he took over as what they call CEO. It so obvious that even Stevie Wonder could see it.

Vernon has at various times run for congress, he is currently hoping to unseat the eloquent and now world famous geologists Hank Johnson, the representative who has been made an overnight sensation for his concerns over Guam tipping over and capsizing, and he has challenged Saxby Chambliss for his Senate seat.

He is a proud Democrat and a person who is in love with power. He is also dumb as a box of rocks, which makes him fit in the Georgia fourth congressional district just fine.

For the record, the picture above, while it was produced by the Jones campaign when he was challenging for the Democrat nomination to face Saxby Chambliss in the race for his senate seat, was determined to be digitally altered and condemned by the Obama campaign. That however didn't stop Vernon from pledging his undying allegiance the TOTUS.

Embarrassing: WaPo's Dana Milbank Gives Michelle Obama a Tongue Bath

The death of journalism, Part 1,037. This is garbage that would be rejected by a junior high school paper.
For the first time in her adult life, Michelle Obama is really proud of her cauliflower.

She's also proud of her carrots, her chard, her collards, her cabbage, her chamomile, chervil and kohlrabi -- and everything else in her White House garden, which she planted Wednesday afternoon with a group of schoolchildren.

"Peas! We did some peas!" she told the kids, recounting the glories of last year's harvest. "We did some onions, and we did a bunch of herbs. Don't you remember? We did chives and garlic and rosemary and all that good stuff. We had blueberries and raspberries and blackberries. Mmmm."

"We harvested over 55 different kinds of healthy food -- 55!" the first lady reported. "One thousand pounds of food! Can you imagine that?"
Uh, no, I can't imagine that. Considering Washington, DC just dug out of record snowfall, how exactly did "one thousand pounds of food" get harvested by the first of April? Can anyone please explain this?
Also hard to imagine is that this is the same Michelle Obama so many feared when her husband ran for the presidency in 2008. Then, many predicted that she would be an angry and divisive presence in the White House, based largely on unfounded racial accusations on the Internet and her poorly worded boast during the primaries that "for the first time in my adult life, I'm really proud of my country."
I guess this dunce missed the part about America being a downright mean country. But hey, let's talk about her cauliflower!
Compared with those expectations of a fiery first lady, Obama, beginning her second spring in the White House, has turned out to be Michelle Milquetoast. Her low profile has been one of the big surprises of the Obama presidency, even to officials in the West Wing, who have noted what they regard as her light schedule.
Considering her unpopular husband is in our faces 24/7, how could she possibly get any face time?

Now keep in mind this guy is supposedly an objective reporter.
The first lady of the United States, dirt on her knees, then taught the children how to do "the rhubarb dance," which consisted of wiggling fingers and casting a voodoo-like spell on the herb and chanting, "Grow, rhubarb, grow." She then marched them rhythmically around the plot. "You gotta shake it!" she instructed.

She returned to the White House, but not before leaving the photographers and reporters with a final admonition. "Stay out of trouble," she said. It's something Michelle Obama has done exceedingly well.
According to who?

The comments to this "news" story are justifiably merciless. Milbank should hang his head in shame. Here's a good one:
A Day in the life of the State Run Media: I can see the media lefties now sitting around their morning staff meetings with their soy lattes, discussing the day's agenda, fretting over the utter collapse in the numbers of their viewers and readers. They wring their neatly manicured, delicate and extremely small hands, simply mystified as to why with so many hard hitting journalistic pieces their numbers are bad. Little Dana Mountebank summons up all of his courage and hits them all with this - a piece about Michelle the Milquetoast in her garden with kids. The "awwwww" factor alone should guarantee at least a few more readers! After they read how gentle and motherly Michelle is, they will certainly abandon their torches and pitchforks and rally around the White House and their agenda! This will work! The lefties rally round delicate Dana, hoist him upon their shoulders and carry him victoriously over to the graven image of Obama that graces their "news"room, convinced that their lord will be most pleased with their offering. He is, they cheer and scurry back to their cubicles to see who will be the next to impress the master.

Historic: Obama Hits New Low in CBS Poll

It's historically unprecedented.
Last week, President Obama signed historic health care reform legislation into law -- but his legislative success doesn't seem to have helped his image with the American public.

The latest CBS News Poll, conducted between March 29 and April 1, found Americans unhappier than ever with Mr. Obama's handling of health care - and still worried about the state of the economy.

President Obama's overall job approval rating has fallen to an all-time low of 44 percent, down five points from late March, just before the health bill's passage in the House of Representatives. It's down 24 points since his all-time high last April. Forty-one percent of those polled said they disapproved of the president's performance.
So despite the "historic" legislation shoved down our throats he's approval has gone down 5%.

Remind me how there some backlash brewing against Republican, OK?
When it comes to health care, the President's approval rating is even lower -- and is also a new all-time low. Only 34 percent approved, while 55 percent said they disapproved.
Memo to the GOP: Run against this boondoggle and promise to real it.

Maybe Obama needs some more slobbering interviews like this to help him out.

Raaaaacist! NY State Senator Tells Black Kids to Pull Up Their Pants

No doubt we can expect protest marches, federal investigations, racist reverend Al Sharpton to announce pickets and press conferences, Jesse Jackson will fly in to mumble something or other and general mayhem and calamity to ensue.

Oh wait. It's a black politician suggesting this. Never mind
Saying low-slung pants give their wearers a bad image, a state lawmaker is making the point with some images of his own.

Brooklyn residents awoke Thursday to the sight of two “Stop the Sag” billboards — and more were on the way, organizers said. The signs show two men in jeans low enough to display their underwear. The billboards were bankrolled by state Sen. Eric Adams, who also made an online video to send his message: “You can raise your level of respect if you raise your pants.”

Adams is the latest in a series of politicians and other public figures to lambaste the slack-slacks style that has been popular in some circles since the 1990s and amplified by rappers and other avatars of urban fashion.

The dropped-trousers trend has been debated in TV shows, city councils, school boards, state legislatures and courtrooms and even decried in song: Larry Platt became an Internet sensation earlier this year after he sang his original song “Pants on the Ground” during an “American Idol” audition.
When this idea was floated in Atlanta a few years ago those charmers at the ACLU sprang into action and called it racial profiling. Let's see how quick they are to act here.

I commend Adams for at least giving this a shot. I've had my disagreements with him in the past while he was on the NYPD, but it appears he's got the best interests of the black community here and this seems like a genuine effort. Let's hope the kids listen and realize how stupid they look walking around with their pants on the ground.

One of America's Largest Democratic States Lags in Census Return

Judging by some of the talk about how "teabaggers" aren't returning their Census forms, isn't it ironic how one of the most Democratic states in the nation is lagging well behind the national average?
"Right now when our state budget is precarious to say the least, and we're running out of funding all over the place, we can't afford to waste a dime of federal money that's coming in here," said the governor.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau only 46 percent of the state has mailed back census forms.

The national average is 52 percent.
Contrary to the popular wisdom, some of the more rural counties in New York are ahead of the average.

As of Wednesday, only 32% of New York City residents had filled it out.

Why are these Democrats so afraid to do their constitutional duty?

Ha Ha Ha: Far-Left Kooks Demand Apology From Conservatives

Oh sure, as soon as you apologize for Code Pink. And all those Bush-Hitler signs. And those Molotov cocktails hurled at McCain supporters. And the Obama donor who threatened Eric Cantor. And Kerry staffers slashing tires. And spitting on pro-lifers. And brutally assaulting Kenneth Gladney. And planning to come out and kill somebody, I guess.

Apologize for all that and maybe we can talk.

Until then, blow it out your ass.
Three liberal groups will drop off a petition at the Republican National Committee’s headquarters Thursday, urging conservative leaders to “take responsibility” for threats and incidents of vandalism against Democrats.

The event is being organized by the Brave New Foundation, MoveOn.org, CREDO and Color of Change.

The groups say about 330,000 people have signed their petition, which urges Republicans to “apologize for your hate-spewing proxies in the Tea Party Patriots. It is not acceptable for you to build your party’s political fortunes by encouraging and defending bigotry and hatred among your supporters.”

Republican leaders, including House Minority Leader John Boehner of Ohio and House Minority Whip Eric Cantor of Virginia, already have both condemned any violence and said the GOP does not condone or try to incite such behavior. The FBI earlier this week arrested a Philadelphia man for threatening Cantor’s life, and Republicans say the threats come from both sides.
No small irony Brave New Foundations is partnered with SEIU, those responsible for the racist attack on Gladney.

Color of Change was founded by Communist Truther Van Jones.

The Perils of Earth Hour: Flaming Cats

Another insipid Earth Hour came and went last Saturday and reports are now coming in showing how dangerous it can be to voluntarily leave yourself in the dark.
The occasion: Earth Hour.

The lights: Off.

The cat: On fire.

A romantic, candlelight dinner in the B.C. environment minister’s house got some unexpected fireworks on Saturday while he and his wife celebrated Earth Hour.

“Suddenly, there was a poof of smoke,” Barry Penner said Tuesday.

He looked over to see that Ranger, the family’s orange-coloured cat, had caught fire while brushing past a candle.

The inquisitive cat, 5, apparently wanted to get in on what was supposed to have been an Earth Hour tete-a-tete for Penner and his wife Daris LaPointe.

The couple rushed to extinguish their pet, but by the time they reached his side, the flames were out, leaving Ranger’s fur singed on one side.

“He looked somewhat disgruntled,” said Penner. “He looked taken aback but he didn’t look afraid. He looked more irritated than anything.”

Candles had been lit around the kitchen and the dining room, as well as on counters and on the table, Penner said.

“This was something new and so he wanted to get a closer look at the candle. He likes to rub against things,” he said.

Within seconds of his brush with destiny, Ranger was demanding rubs, Penner said. The environment minister reported Tuesday Ranger is completely fine, although petting him makes your hand smell like smoke, and his singed fur is curled up, frizzy and brittle.
Left with a house smelling like burnt cat hair left them with a quandary. How to get rid of it?
“We thought about using the fan but we couldn’t do it,” said Penner. They opted instead to open windows to air out the house without using any electricity.
Canada's really in the best of hands.

H/T Tim Blair, who chronicles other moonbat hilarity from up north.

Dude, Where's My Backlash?

Nearly two weeks into transformational change and "free" healthcare, the numbers just keeping looking worse for Democrats. Of course if you listen to them we should all be trembling in a corner somewhere worried that a backlash is coming if we dare to criticize these buffoons.

How's that working out now?
President Obama headed to Maine to tout the benefits of health care reform Thursday, but one place Democrats don’t seem to be feeling any benefit right now is in the polls.

A fresh Gallup survey out Thursday has Republicans moving back ahead of of Democrats in generic ballots, with 47% of voters saying they’d vote for an unnamed Republican while 44% say they would back a Democrat.

This is not good news for Democrats.

“These results suggest the Republicans would have a strong showing if the midterm elections were held today," said Gallup pollster Jeffrey Jones. "Since Republicans usually vote at higher rates than Democrats, the Republicans’ edge in voter preferences would likely exceed what the registered voter results indicate.

The poll numbers could spell doom in the midterm elections.

“A Republican advantage among all registered voters in midterm elections has been rare in Gallup’s 60-year history of tracking congressional voting preferences," said Jones, "happening only a few times each in the 1950, 1994, and 2002 election cycles — all years in which Republicans had strong Election Day showings.”

The poll doesn’t directly blame health care reform for Democrats’ woes, but it does find a dramatic jump in voter enthusiasm since the reform passed. Many Democrats believed they needed to pass health reform to keep their base motivated, and the survey finds the percentage of Democrats saying they are very enthusiastic about voting in November leaping from 25% to 35% since March 21.

But the percentage of enthusiastic Republicans also jumped, from 43% to 50%.
Oops. Now wonder the Democrats are in hiding during the recess, even after their alleged "victory" over the American people.

Even Babs Boxer is sending out the warning to soon-to-be extinct Democrats, but she's got a secret plan: Run against Karl Rove.
But Boxer took the attacks by at least one Republican, Karl Rove, a former top political guru for President George W. Bush, as a badge of honor.

"Karl Rove is the architect of the most disastrous economic policies this country has ever seen," Boxer said in response to comments by Rove suggesting the senator is beatable this fall. "So if Karl Rove is against me, I think that's in my favor."

How Dare You, Mr. Rubio!

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Bathtub Boy wets himself over Marco Rubio. Keef was upset that Rubio goofed on him, along with far-left clowns Janeane Garofalo and Sean Penn recently.
Rubio also said he was against amnesty for immigrants, believing legal immigration will never work if illegal immigrants are granted amnesty.

Then, he closed the speech with a thought he said originated from Glenn Beck, FOX News' popular conservative talk show host,.

"There are millions of people in America that hate our country, so why can't we just do a trade?" Rubio said. "We'll send you Sean Penn, Janeane Garofalo and Keith Olbermann, and you can send us people that actually love this country and want to help us build it."
Nothing more provokes Olberdork than by reminding him how much he hates this country.
"Mr. Rubio, you have long behaved like a teenager who borrowed his father's suit. I think you don't understand this country. I think you imperil this country. I think your stupidity is an indictment of the educational system in this country."
Of course an indictment of the educational system would seem to be a slap at the left since they essentially, through their unions, control the public schools. But considering Rubio has a law degree, one could imply he's better educated than a guy who went to ag school.
If you've ever watched any three nights of his show, you know that Olbermann went to Cornell. But he always forgets to mention that he went to the school that offers classes in milking and bovine management.

Indeed, Keith is constantly lying about his nonexistent "Ivy League" education, boasting to Playboy magazine, for example: "My Ivy League education taught me how to cut corners, skim books and take an idea and write 15 pages on it, and also how to work all day at the Cornell radio station and never actually go to class."

Except Keith didn't go to the Ivy League Cornell; he went to the Old MacDonald Cornell.

The real Cornell, the School of Arts and Sciences (average SAT: 1,325; acceptance rate: 1 in 6 applicants), is the only Ivy League school at Cornell and the only one that grants a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Keith went to an affiliated state college at Cornell, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (average SAT: about that of pulling guards at the University of South Carolina; acceptance rate: 1 of every 1 applicants).

Olbermann's incessant lying about having an "Ivy League education" when he went to the non-Ivy League ag school at Cornell would be like a graduate of the Yale locksmithing school boasting about being a "Yale man."

Meet Lt. Cmdr. Dan Fanelli

Dan Fanelli is the Republican challenger to that loud mouthed, uncivilized, thuggish, and obnoxious representative from Florida, Alan Grayson.

Mr. Fanelli brings something to the campaign that is a breath of fresh air: humor.

I sincerely hope the folks in this district do not send Grayson back to Congress since he has proven himself to be nothing but an embarrassment, not only for the people he is supposed to represent, but to America in general.

I especially like the comparison of Grayson to Fred Flinstone.

'This Clown is No Friend to our Children or Their Health'

Evil Clown

You know what the folks at McDonalds should do in response to this? Add some bacon to the menu.

Hey, Ronald McDonald, it may be time to retire.

Nearly half of Americans polled want the kid-friendly, French-fry chomping icon to call it quits, arguing he contributes to the country's growing obesity epidemic by luring youngsters to fast food joints.

"This clown is no friend to our children or their health," said Deborah Lapidus of Corporate Accountability International, a group that sponsored the poll and protests outside McDonald's around the country.

"He is a deep-fried Joe Camel for the 21st century," she said.

Many of those surveyed had favorable feelings about red-headed Ronald, yet 47% thought it was time for him to go.

But a protest outside McDonald's in Times Square Wednesday didn't sour kids on Ronald.

"He's getting old, but I like Ronald," said 13-year-old Rosemary Frias of the Bronx, who was eager to munch on chicken nuggets and fries. Ditching Ronald, she said, won't "stop kids from getting fat."
An novel though, perhaps, but that maybe is the responsibility of parents, no?

Disgraced Democrat: Healthcare Opponents Racist or Something

Honestly, I'm surprised it took this bloated bag of wind this long to chime in on the phony charges of racism being tossed around against opponents of ObamaCare. Nearly two weeks after the fabricated claims tossed around, the disgraced, corrupt Harlem hack Charlie Rangel decides to weigh in. You know opponents have won the debate when this is all supporters have left.
In an exclusive interview Wednesday on NY1's "Inside City Hall," Congressman Charles Rangel all but called some of the opponents of the health care reform bill racist, comparing them to protestors who fought against the civil rights movement in the 1960s.

"I was involved in the civil rights marches in the '60s. And I have been badgered, cursed at and spat at by groups in the South and I want you to know and your viewing audience to know that the group that were in Washington fighting against the health bill and fighting against the President, looked just like and sounded just like those groups that attacked the civil rights movement in the South," Rangel said.

In his first interview since stepping down as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Rangel also responded to some of the accusations that forced him to give up the post.

Rangel said he resigned as chairman after he was barraged with Republican attacks and unfair press coverage.

Rangel also says he's confident that he will be vindicated by the House Ethics Committee that’s investigating several charges, including whether Rangel didn’t pay enough taxes.

When asked if he had been assured by House leaders that he would be reinstated to his post, Rangel says he thinks he’ll be back in charge after the ethics probe is complete.
Keep dreaming.

Finally: 'Jersey Shore' for the Del Boca Vista Set

Just bringing you folks back to earth after the Spanish flight attendants post, here we have a woman who bears an eerie resemblance to Helen Thomas and the thought of her frolicking in a hot tub reminds us that indeed, today's is April Fool's Day. But since this report comes from a respected mainstream publication that employs jocksniffers as political analysts, who are we to think this story is a fake?
Move over, Snooki!

The big-haired party girl faces stiff competition from New York old-timer Gail Leibowitz - star of a naughty new series featuring Viagra-fueled seniors frolicking in hot tubs and talking about sex toys.

The petite senior, whose bright red bouffant hair style gives Snooki's trademark pouf a run for its money, grabs the spotlight in a new show called "Sunset Daze," a sort of geriatric "Jersey Shore."

Filmmakers follow the former cabaret singer and her fun-loving friends as they spend their twilight years at a giant retirement community called Sun City in Arizona.

Viewers can expect steamy scenes in Jacuzzis, a wild night out at a gay rodeo and makeout sessions during happy hour.

An ex-nun boasts about her libido as her pals guzzle buckets of champagne on blind dates.

At one point, a saucy singleton dishes on her favorite sex toy. She calls it Bob, for "Battery Operated Boyfriend."

"It's all very exciting because I love being in front of the cameras," Leibowitz says.

"People think that old folks sit around all day, talking about their operations, but that's not true at all" says Leibowitz, a former off-Broadway actress and singer who once sang at a New York strip club.

"Age 80 is the new 70, and 70 is the new 60. We are here having the time of our lives!"

The divorced mom of one from Brooklyn, who gives her age as "70-plus," moved to the retirement complex six years ago.

While she has never watched MTV's "Jersey Shore," she craves the attention generated by controversial characters like Snooki and The Situation.

"I would love to be chased by the paparazzi," she says. "I don't think there is a downside to fame. I don't care if I'm in the National Enquirer, as long as they spell my name correctly!

Unlike much of the younger generation of reality-TV stars, Leibowitz draws the line at baring all.

"I'm ready for photo shoots, Hollywood - anything apart from taking my clothes off," she says. "When you get to my age, it's better to stay covered up."

We're In The Best of Hands

Hank Johnson is a representative from Georgia. He beat Cynthia "The Cutest Communist in Congress" McKinney for the honor of representing the people of the fourth congressional district. He is a perfect representative for this group. As evidenced by Mr Johnson having a "D" behind his name. This is something the people in this district are very comfortable with. It not only represents the highest grade they achieved in school, but it is also as far as they got in the alphabet, which explains how they continue to send these stellar statesmen to Washington.

Mr Johnson loves to take on social problems. The problem in this case is worrying about Guam tipping over if we move too many Marines over there.

No seriously. I wrote this post in a simple manner so hopefully any of his followers that stumble across this will be able to comprehend understand read this.

On the other hand, having him in Washington is better then having him walking the streets around here.
