It was a strange week for the loony strongman from Iran. Here's another sampling of the charming folks who've received a free pass from our so-called Justice Department. And here they are meeting with a declared enemy of our country, yet most of the media casually ignore it.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's six nights in New York featured a secret sit-down with militant minister Louis Farrakhan, heckling in a hotel bar, and a fear of being rubbed out that bordered on paranoia.
The president shared a hush-hush meal with Farrakhan and members of the New Black Panther Party Tuesday at the Warwick Hotel on West 54th Street.
The meeting of the podium smackers took place in a banquet room, where the fiery leaders presumably exchanged theories on what's wrong with the world.

Ahmadinejad Parties With Farrakhan and Holder's Pals from New Black Panthers
If you get your news from the lamestream media you'd have no idea about the shenanigans from the New Black Panthers Party and Eric Holder's refusal to investigate their actions in the 2008 election (video here). Now we discover the nutty Louis Farrakhan and members of the New Black Panthers, one of whom may have recently visited the White House, this week had an audience with the psychopath 9/11 Truther Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

'Americans Will Have to Pay for This Barbaric Act'
Having moved on from their manufactured "outrage" over planned Koran burnings, the peace-loving, bridge-building moderates in Pakistan have now focused their rage on Americans for having the audacity to sentence one of their own to 86 years in prison. It can only be a matter of time until smart diplomacy kicks in and we're shipping this terrorist back to her homeland as a show of unity or something.
Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan has vowed to bring back Dr Aafia Siddiqui, a US-trained Pakistani neuroscientist accused of firing at US soldiers and FBI agents in Afghanistan in 2008 as she tried to escape from their custody by force.Well, so much for Obama's outreach to the Muslim world. Might be time to re-set that clock.
Dr Aafia was handed a 86-year sentence by a federal court in Manhattan, US, on September 23.
Azam Tariq, Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan spokesperson, told rediff.com, "Protests and rallies could not compel the Americans freeing Aafia but only the holy jihad can do this job. If the Americans were targeted around the world, no infidel would dare to arrest or punish any Muslim daughter."
Talking via telephone from an undisclosed location, Tariq said, "Dr Aafia is innocent; and the champion of justice has done injustice in this case. The mujahid forces will never implore the Americans for her release but will bring back the Muslim sister through sheer force."
Azam added, "Americans will have to pay for this barbaric act; the act of injustice with Aafia is unbearable. Mujahideen will target the Americans all around the world and the infidels forces will meet their fate soon in the form of destruction."I just hope he doesn't find out the majority of Americans don't want a mega-mosque built at Ground Zero. That might make him rally upset.

'Sad Commentary On Our Political System'
A Boston University professor explains what may well be the final nail in the Democrat coffin.
Goofball TV comic Stephen Colbert took his off-the-wall Comedy Central shtick to Congress yesterday - making a mockery of a House hearing while “testifying” before lawmakers on immigration reform.Of course it was a distraction from more meaningful issues, so in that regard the Democrats may consider it a success. But they won't be chuckling come November 2.
Colbert, who addressed the immigration subcommittee in his satirical news character, said he spent a day picking beans and packing corn in the “unforgiving sun” with illegal immigrants.
“Please don’t make me do this again. It is really, really hard,” Colbert said. “It turns out - and I did not know this - most soil is at ground level.”
Boston University professor Tobe Berkovitz said it’s a “sad commentary on our political system when the Congress feels compelled to stoop to the lowest common denominator on important public issues.”
“That the Congress feels that having an entertainer come in as an expert witness on a serious policy issue shows just how dramatically out of touch the Congress is with any sense of propriety,” Berkovitz said.

'People Are Influenced By a Simple Slogan Rather Than the Facts'
John Kerry explains how stupid people came to vote for Barack Obama.
Oh no, he actually means those stupid, uninformed knuckle-draggers prepared to bury the left in five weeks.
“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening,” Kerry told reporters after touring the Boston Medical Center yesterday.Hope! Change! Yes We Can! Those kind of slogans, Live Shot?
Oh no, he actually means those stupid, uninformed knuckle-draggers prepared to bury the left in five weeks.
“I think a lot of the anger today - while it’s appropriate because Washington is broken - is not directed at the right people,” said Kerry. “Barney is prepared, as others are, to explain what we’re doing. I think when people hear the facts and they see what we’re doing, it frankly makes sense.”So if you're not stupid and uninformed, you're angry. That dovetails nicely with the latest anti-Tea Party message: They're all crazy. Of course this pampered elitist snob is looking down his nose at anyone from the deck of his luxury yacht.
John Feehery, a Washington D.C.-based Republican consultant, said Kerry’s comments mark yet another embarrassing stumble for the gaffe-prone senior senator. In 2006, the former presidential candidate had to apologize for a statement he made at a California college that U.S. students who did not study hard and stay in school would end up “stuck in Iraq.”Nice to see one of those rabble-rousing bloggers being quoted in a story.
“I think that arrogance sums up why John Kerry didn’t get elected president,” Feehery said. “He’s out of touch.”
Conservative political blogger William Jacobson, who writes Legal Insurrection, immediately pounced on Kerry’s comments, saying that attitude is why voters are looking to shake up Capitol Hill by electing upstart candidates such as U.S. Sen. Scott Brown.
“It just continues the Democrats’ theme that the reason people are upset is because they don’t understand. They’re not smart enough. That sort of rhetoric just gets people even more upset,” said Jacobson.

'This Is What the Marines of the Marine Corps League Find Inexcusable and Despicable'
There's apparently no level these desperate Democrats won't sink to. Here we have the unhinged Florida Congressman Alan Grayson trying to claim his GOP opponent is a draft dodger while implying that he's endorsed by the Marine Corps League. Now I always thought it no longer mattered to the public if anyone dodged the draft during Vietnam? Of course Grayson's opponent didn't dodge the draft, but hey, why bother with facts? It goes without saying if Daniel Webster did serve Grayson would probably be calling him a baby killer.
Needless to say, the Marines aren't amused.
Grayson pretends he's up by 13 points, although the veracity of that is very much in question. If he's boasting about a poll where as an incumbent he's getting 40% then I'll have some of what he's smoking.
Needless to say, the Marines aren't amused.
For the last week, Florida Rep. Alan Grayson has been airing a hard-hitting TV ad casting GOP opponent Daniel Webster as a Vietnam draft-dodger.Here's Grayson with the equally insane Ed Schultz yesterday.
Now, a veterans group is joining the fray – only it’s Grayson, not Webster, they’re upset with.
In a one-page letter to Grayson, Bill Backes, the Florida commandant of the Marine Corps League, excoriates the congressman for featuring a still shot of a smiling Grayson alongside a veteran wearing Marine Corps League attire – an image, Backes argues, that wrongfully suggests the group has endorsed Grayson.
“[What the Marine Corps League finds offensive is that you, Congressman Grayson, used these pictures in political and TV ads to further your campaign for reelection, thereby subconsciously saying to the public that the Marine Corps League supports Alan Grayson,” writes Backes. “This is what the Marines of the Marine Corps League find inexcusable and despicable.”
Backes also notes that, as a 501c organization, the group cannot legally endorse any candidate or party, and concludes: “The Marine Corps League strongly insists that this ad be removed from further showing.”

Wonderful: NY Times Planning Another Hit Piece on Boehner
They already brought us the earth-shattering news that future House Speaker John Boehner actually knows Washington lobbyists, a stunning development in political circles considering he lives and works in Washington. Now the fair and impartial arbiters of truthiness at the New York Times plan another smear attack on Boehner set for later in October so they can try and influence the midterm elections.
They have no idea how badly this will backfire with an already angry public and likely will lead to even more defeats for Democrats in tight races. Aren't these the same people who whine about "negative campaigning" and the "politics of personal destruction" every election cycle? Even worse, they're hopping into bed with the discredited smear merchants from Daily Kos.
Pathetic.

Aren't these the same people who whine about "negative campaigning" and the "politics of personal destruction" every election cycle? Even worse, they're hopping into bed with the discredited smear merchants from Daily Kos.
Pathetic.
The heat is on Republican leader John Boehner. If the Times wants to play games I have two words for them: Vera Baker.
Liberal media outlets are trying to smear the highest-ranking Republican in the House just weeks before the midterm elections with a deal-breaking scandal before he has a chance to take the speaker's chair from Nancy Pelosi.
A blogger from liberal Web site The Daily Kos pierced through Boehner's security detail at yesterday's unveiling of his leadership policy "Pledge to America" to ask if he was sleeping with a lobbyist from the Printing Industries of America.
The congressman ignored the pesky blogger with a flip camera and kept moving to his fleet of black Suburbans.
The lobbyist who was named in the confrontation and then was contacted by he Daily Kos blogger Lisbeth Lyons denied the accusations. "As you can imagine, I was stunned by such a question," Lyons said. "I found it to be highly insulting, particularly as a female political professional, as well as unfounded. Beyond that, I have no further comment on the matter."
Insiders on Capitol Hill are buzzing about an upcoming New York Times exposé that will detail an alleged Boehner affair. Sources say the Times is looking for the right time to drop the story in October to sway the election, similar to how the Times reported during the 2008 presidential campaign on an alleged John McCain affair that supposedly had taken place many years before and that was flatly denied by the woman in question.
"Catching Boehner with a mistress is the only way to destroy him politically before the election," a source said.

'A Nasty Person and He Wants to Say Nasty Things'
Even the folks who half-heartedly endorse Andrew Cuomo call him nasty, so having his opponent call him that isn't earth-shattering. But the rhetoric has already been ratcheted up to Defcon 5 int he New York gubernatorial race and no matter the outcome it now stands to be perhaps the most entertaining race of the season. Here int he New York market I can't wait to see the avalanche of commercials Carl Paladino plans to roll out.Until Thursday, the Cuomo team was flummoxed over how to deal with the Paladino's relentlessly personal attacks.C'mon, Mr. Paladino, tell us how you really feel.
Paladino recently questioned Cuomo's manhood, mocked his father, former Gov. Mario Cuomo, and questioned whether he had the "cojones" to debate him.
On Thursday night, Paladino defended his business dealings as on the up and up and seemed energized that Cuomo finally entered the fray.
Appearing on upstate YNN's "Capital Tonight," the "mad as hell" candidate branded Cuomo "a nasty person and he wants to say nasty things."
"As long as he wants to play the tit-for-tat game, we've got a whole box of ammunition here that we're just going to throw right back at him," he said without specifying.
The Buffalo flame-thrower also said he believes the campaign is getting to Cuomo. He suggested Cuomo had a "glazed over look" in his eyes during an endorsement event with Mayor Bloomberg Wednesday.
"Like a deer in the headlights," Paladino said, expressing mock concern. "I don't want him to get himself sick over this stuff. Take it easy, Andy. Take a rest."
"Obviously he's very upset over the fact that his ego has been challenged now, his sense of entitlement has been challenged."
"Democrats are not going to line up behind you just because you're you," he added.
Here's a look at the most recent poll methodology that came up with two wildly different results this week.
Elsewhere, Dick Morris has a look at Congressional races around New York State, where he thinks this GOP can pick up as many as nine seats.

Chris Christie Expands His Video Beatdowns to the West Coast
Lifted from Ace. It's obviously not enough for Chris Christie, Baddest Governor on the Planet, to abuse hapless reporters and leave sniveling schoolteachers in a puddle of tears. Now he's gone bi-coastal and laid out some Democrat hack in California.
Christie was concluding a town hall meeting with Whitman when an angry audience member criticized her for not taking questions.Had enough Christie? I didn't think so.
"What are you hiding?" shouted Ed Buck, in jeans and a light shirt in the front row of the 400-person event. "You’re looking like Arnold in a dress," he said in a reference to outgoing California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Before Whitman could respond, Christie stepped down from the stage and got in Buck’s face.
"Hey, listen. You know what. You want to yell, yell at me," Christie said, shutting down Buck as Christie’s bodyguards calmly but quickly approached the two men. "It’s people who raise their voices and yell and scream like you who are dividing this country. We’re here to bring this country together."
Talking to reporters after the event, Whitman said she figured Buck was planted in the audience by her opponents.

Chrysler Workers Partying Hard On the Job
Your hard-working union members and famed Obama supporters. These guys can drink and suck down doobies with the best of them.
More video at the last link. It's just a few bad apples or something.
I'm very, very disturbed about what I just saw in the video and I want to make it clear that we at Chrysler take it very seriously. For us this behavior is totally unacceptable and will be dealt with swiftly. In fact, we've already identified a few of the people involved in this incident. Each of them has been suspended indefinitely, without pay, pending further investigation. We'll continue to pursue this in fact, until we're done.
What's difficult about this is these few people, who exhibited bad behavior, have painted a bad picture what's an outstanding assembly plant, filled with outstanding committed Chrysler employees at Jefferson North. I want to make it clear that we're proud of our plant, we're very proud of the people at Jefferson North.

Spitzer on Cuomo: 'He is the Dirtiest, Nastiest Political Player Out There'
Coming from a lowlife like Eliot Spitzer I don't know if this is a cheap shot or a compliment.
"Well, what he needs to do is speak to the public and, of course, the problem that Andrew has is that everybody knows that behind the scenes, he is the dirtiest, nastiest political player out there and that is his reputation from years in Washington. When his father was governor, he was the tough guy. He has brass knuckles and he played hard ball. He has a lot of enemies out there. Nobody's been willing to stand up to him. When it appeared he was going to win, it was inevitable. If it appears not to be inevitable, things may change. He has a lot of folks, he's really been on the wrong side of who may stand up and say, wait a minute, he may not want to pretend he plays that game. He does, and he's worse at it."

Hard-Working Pakistani Immigrant and Victim of Wave of American Islamophobia Sentenced to 86 Years
A shameful black eye on our image abroad.
A Pakistani woman trained as a scientist in the U.S. was sentenced to 86 years in prison Thursday after she was convicted of trying to kill U.S. Army soldiers and FBI agents in Afghanistan two years ago.The word Muslim, naturally, is omitted from the story.
Aafia Siddiqui, 38 years old, was convicted in February of grabbing a soldier's M-4 assault rifle and trying to shoot an assembled group of Federal Bureau of Investigation agents and soldiers at an Afghan police compound in July 2008.
The U.S. team had traveled to the compound in Ghazni, Afghanistan, to interview her after she taken into custody by Afghan authorities, prosecutors said. Ms. Siddiqui was found at the time with materials that included handwritten notes referring to a "mass casualty attack" in the U.S. and listed several landmark locations in New York City, prosecutors said.
Prior to her sentencing, Ms. Siddiqui again proclaimed her innocence and disputed claims by her lawyers that she has a mental illness.

'I Guarantee You We’re Going to Have a Majority in the House and a Majority in the Senate. I Absolutely Believe That'
The nice lady will show you to your padded room now, Mr. Biden.Consider this Gaffemaster Joe's kiss of death for Democrats come the midterms in 40 days. In a bout of sheer delusion, he actually thinks the Tea Party will help Democrats.
Vice President Biden said Thursday the conservative Tea Party movement might be "the best thing to happen" to Democrats with the midterm elections approaching.
Biden, speaking at a fundraiser in Chevy Chase, Md., for Sen. Barbara Mikulski, said that the energy of the Tea Party might inspire a lethargic Democratic base to turn out and vote in November.
“May be the best thing to happen to us lately is the Tea Party wins," Biden said. "Maybe it’ll shake some of our constituency out of their lethargy.”
The vice president also offered a "guarantee" that Democrats will defy predictions and maintain control of the House.
“I guarantee you we’re going to have a majority in the House and a majority in the Senate. I absolutely believe that,” Biden said.

Organizer for PA Dem Gubernatorial Candidate in Felony Drug Bust
Who knows, it was probably for medicinal purposes. Expect a lot of this nationwide as beleaguered Democrat staffers try to forget their woes, although they may want to self-medicate with legal substances. Maybe in her role as "organizer" for the Democrat campaign she was just in charge of organizing the marijuana distribution among campaign aides.
A Dan Onorato campaign worker is facing felony drug charges after she was arrested at a campaign office in Lawrenceville.Twelve ounces of weed in the mail?
Lauren Lynn McDonnel was charged with felony conspiracy to manufacture drugs. Police said they found 28 marijuana plants in the basement of her home on Belgreen Place in Oakland.
State trooper and U.S. Postal inspectors searched the house after smelling a strong odor of marijuana coming out of the front door, police said.
Investigators said they were initially called to the house to track a package from Los Angeles that police said contained 12 ounces of marijuana.
McDonnell was a full-time organizer of Onorato's primary campaign. According to Kevin Kinross, an Onorato for governor campaign worker, McDonnell was recommended to the PA Democratic Party to work for all state office candidates. And now all those staffers needs to find another dealer, I guess.
UN Chief Laments 'Politics of Hate'
No word if he was looking directly at Barack Obama when he said this.
As to the "language of hate," has Moon ever read any leftwing media and blogs talking about Tea Partiers?
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon warned kings, prime ministers and presidents Thursday of growing political polarization and social inequalities and implored U.N. members to show greater tolerance and mutual respect to bring the world together.Does that cover people who dismissed opposition and said I won?
In his keynote speech to the opening of the General Assembly's annual ministerial meeting, the U.N. chief told leaders from the 192-member nations that "today, we are being tested."
Ban said people everywhere are living in fear of losing their jobs, too many are caught in conflict, "and we see a new politics at work - a politics of polarization."
"We hear the language of hate, false divisions between `them' and `us,' those who insist on `their way' or `no way,'" he said.

Unexpected! Jobless Claims Rise Again
It's like a running gag now. Any time things look bleak for Obama and his merry band of idiots it's unexpected. The media are apparently the last ones to realize how stupid they look every time they call job losses and upticks in unemployment unexpected.
The rest of us don't see any of this as unexpected. What else should we expect with Democrats in charge?
Weaker-than-expected economic data boosted U.S. government securities prices on Thursday and seemed to increase the likelihood the Federal Reserve would buy debt to aid the economy. The news was also unexpected here, here and here.
An unexpected rise in new U.S. jobless claims and overnight reports showing a slower pace of growth in the euro zone's services and manufacturing sectors boosted demand for safe-haven government debt.

Obama's America: Rich Democrats Getting Richer
The deep recession sure hasn't hurt Obama pals Warren Buffett and Bill Gates.
Just remember this the next time Obama rails against "the rich" his pals become more wealthy while he's busy wrecking our economy.
The richest Americans are getting richer, according to the latest release of the Forbes ranking of the 400 richest Americans. We all know Bloomberg gives Obama a tongue-bath at every opportunity, and Ellison is a supporter.
At a combined wealth of $1.37 trillion, the 400 Richest Americans saw their wealth increase by 8% over last year. The wealth level needed to make the Forbes 400 also pushed back above $1 billion; it had fallen below $1 billion in 2009 for first time since 2006.
No surprise at the top of the list, Bill Gates of Microsoft in the No. 1 spot with a net worth of $54 billion, and Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway at No. 2 among America's richest, with wealth estimated at $45 billion.
...
Among the Top 10 Richest Americans in the Forbes 400, only Larry Ellison of Oracle and Michael Bloomberg have made the Buffett/Gates charitable pledge. Ellison is No. 3 on the Forbes 400, with an estimated wealth of $27 billion. Bloomberg rounded out the Forbes 400 Top 10 with an estimated wealth of $18 billion.

Angry Teabaggers Heckle Obama: 'Obama Broken Promises KILL'
Tea Partiers really have to get control of their activists. We must return to civility and stop with this angry, raucous behavior. What sort of example does this set to the rest of the public?
Oh, wait, it was core Democrat constituents booing him.
Never mind.
Oh, wait, it was core Democrat constituents booing him.
Never mind.
President Barack Obama got heckled at a fundraiser Wednesday night by protesters pushing for more funding for AIDS programs and quicker action to allow gays to serve openly in the military. How pathetic. The man just refuses to accept responsibility for anything. Oooh, ooh, don't yell at me, yell at them!
Activists yelled slogans and held signs aloft reading "Obama broken promises KILL." Supporters of the president tried to drown them out with shouts of "O-bam-a! O-bam-a!"
The hecklers were so raucous Obama went off-script several times to address them, insisting he's increased AIDS funding and is working to overturn the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy. He told them to go shout at Republicans, noting that a vote on repealing "don't ask, don't tell" failed this week in the Senate, with Republicans united in opposition.
"Some of those signs should be going up at the other folks' events, and folks should be hollering at the other folks' event. Because the choice in November could not be clearer," the president said.
Addressing an activist pushing for more funding for global AIDS initiatives, the president said, "We heard your point. And as I said before, we increased AIDS funding. ... The people who will take over if we don't focus on the election, I promise you, will cut AIDS funding."Really? Can he point to a single vow from a single Republican who said they'd cut AIDS funding?

'Have I Voted for the Mayor? Yes'
Geez, this guy can't even tell the truth about something so innocuous as to who he voted for? Well, it's no big deal, I guess. It'll be a one-night story and the media will basically give him a pass.
But for all his actions as the state’s chief law enforcement officer, Cuomo did have a little problem with telling the truth about his election box support for Mayor Bloomberg. Not exactly the best timing to be caught in a lie.
“Have I voted for the mayor? Yes,” Cuomo said.
Actually, he didn’t. The Cuomo campaign had to issue a clarification, saying he was only registered to vote in New York City in 2005 when he endorsed Democrat Fernando Ferrer.
Political experts say Cuomo can’t afford to make a mistake like that in a close contest.
“When the races tighten up in this way you can’t afford many more ‘whoops’ moments. He’s got to be a lot more careful going forward,” political consultant Hank Sheinkopf said.
The Paladino team used the faux pas to taunt Cuomo about not yet agreeing to debates.
Paladino spokesman Caputo said “Perhaps that’s why Andrew is afraid to debate. He misspeaks so much he fears facing the voters.”
