Comedy Alert: New York Times Tries to Discredit Anti-Obama Book Using Media Matters as a Source

Really, you can't make this stuff up. In a ridiculous attempt at discrediting a book that will debut at No. 1 on their own best-seller list, the New York Times uses the wholly discredited hit squad Media Matters as a source.

Seriously, if you're going to try and take out the author, you may want to use a group that actually has some credibility.

The obvious fear the Obama people have is Jerome Corsi will blow Obama out of the water, just as he did John Kerry four years ago.
“This book is nothing but a series of lies that were long ago discredited, written by an individual who was discredited after he wrote a similar book to help George Bush and Dick Cheney get re-elected four years ago,” said Tommy Vietor, a spokesman for Mr. Obama. “The reality is that there are many lie-filled books like this in the works cobbled together from the Internet to make money off of a presidential campaign.” He added, “We will respond to these smears forcefully.”
Really? We're waiting.
