It Was 45 Years Ago Today

Since I was in diapers at the time, I have very little recollection. But I may as well note the milestone. My mother loved the guy and my father was a delegate for him at the 1960 convention. Needless to say, I strayed from the reservation. But God Bless You, JFK. I wish I could have been around to meet you. Let's just leave it at that. Nobody knows what would have happened were you not murdered by Lee Harvey Oswald. The world might be a wee bit different, but likely not by much. We survived without you, though I wish you could have seen it all.

Anyway, RIP. See you at 50. And BTW, wish some luck for the new president-elect.
