Something Is Rotten In France

And it ain't the government.

Along the coast of France they have huge quantities of seaweed that has washed ashore and is decomposing. As part of the decomposition process a lethal gas is produced which is fatal if inhaled. Some scientists claim that this same gas may have contributed to the demise of the dinosaurs.

This can't be good for the tourist business. Of course like everything else bad in this world the global warming acolytes are citing this as further proof of their agenda.

On the other hand this might have something to do with it.

In Marseilles, 13 beaches were shut at the weekend after heavy rainfall washed the contents of the city’s sewer into the sea.
