Help Wanted: New York Times

This is an actual help wanted ad. The New York Times is looking for a stringer/researcher in the Atlanta bureau. Now I ain't saying the Times has some rather stereotypical views of southerners but check out this little caveat in their ad.

Story ideas should be crafted as actual pitches and should go beyond topics or angles that the Times has already addressed. Please do not submit ideas concerning dog fights, cock fights, or the Confederate flag.

Hey, maybe this is a part time job and it would be worth my while to apply.
