Back in the day I was a Perot supporter. To this day I believe that he would have been a better Prez than either one of the mainstream candidates.
I'll agree that he cost Bush the Elder the election, but I also think that fighting the good fight was worth it. If you're trying to draw an analogy between then and now (Perot viz. the Donald), IMO Clinton was much less of a threat to this country than the loser currently occupying the White House. It doesn't matter who the Repubs nominate, he or she has got to be an upgrade. I only hope that a third party candidate doesn't derail that.
