Horrible: Paul Krugman Attacks Bush and Giuliani on 9/11

This douchebag apparently is so consumed with hatred he forgot to run spellcheck.
Is it just me, or are the 9/11 commemorations oddly subdued?

Actually, I don’t think it’s me, and it’s not really that odd.

What happened after 9/11 — and I think even people on the right know this, whether they admit it or not — was deeply shameful. Te atrocity should have been a unifying event, but instead it became a wedge issue. Fake heroes like Bernie Kerik, Rudy Giuliani, and, yes, George W. Bush raced to cash in on the horror. And then the attack was used to justify an unrelated war the neocons wanted to fight, for all the wrong reasons.

A lot of other people behaved badly. How many of our professional pundits — people who should have understood very well what was happening — took the easy way out, turning a blind eye to the corruption and lending their support to the hijacking of the atrocity?

The memory of 9/11 has been irrevocably poisoned; it has become an occasion for shame. And in its heart, the nation knows it.

I’m not going to allow comments on this post, for obvious reasons.
What a coward.

Update: In case Krugman sends it down the memory hole, here it is. Thanks to John Hayward for grabbing the screen shot.

What is shameful is NYC. You bastards still haven't rebuilt the towers. And your mayor bans the clergy and first responders from the ceremony. You guys suck beyond words.

People like Krugman embody ALL THAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY, ESPECIALLY WITH THE LEFT.

A wedge??? President Bush's approval rating hit over EIGHTY PERCENT after 9/11, but don't let the facts get in the way of that good old derisive liberal history REVISIONISM.

You are truly a disgrace to our entire species.

I think this is why I'm bitter and could never see myself voting for a democrat EVER again on the national level. Nice that Krugman keeps reminding me. THEY politicized 911 so ferociously that they made it into an even bigger mess than it had to be. Where is the anti war trash now that Bush is gone?? For very few was it actually about the war, for most it was about bringing Bush down, afraid that he'd gain some kind of advange. I think Cindy Shehan was used by them and when a democrat finally got into office she had outlived her usefulness.

A piece of human garbage such as Krugman knows what the response will be to his opinion piece, he takes great pleasure in not allowing people to respond to him. He is trash.

To quote the eternal Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit... they aren't anti war they're pro terrorist.

You make a huge mistake in thinking they were ever on your side... or ever could be on your side.

Krugman was, is and likely always will be a weenie. This is just his way of reminding you, "Hey, I'm STILL a weenie!" Of course, he doesn't think that's what he's saying.... he thinks he's dazzling everyone with his brilliance and stuff, but that's all part of his delusion. He is basically calling attention to himself because more than anything else, that's what he craves. Since the Keynesian poop he loves to push has proved a total flop, he has no other was to gain attention than writing poisonous junk like this. Like I said, weenie.

I think Krugman=Coward says it all. To write something so vile and then to not allow anyone to comment on it?

It's true. I expect to live another 30 years, but I WILL NEVER EVER VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT AGAIN. The past 10 years sealed that deal. Too much arrogance and ignorance and evil lives there. It would be immoral.

The donks personify the term useful idiot. With the dems politics is God. Politics above all else, including decency. Just look who supports the Unions for a prime example. And on one of the few days when the dems could, and should lay aside their shitty agenda, they just can't seem to let it go. And for this gutless POS to NOT allow comments shows you just how big a pair of stones he has. Despicable.

I can't wait until 2012 to see the upcoming blood bath these turds are in for.

The fact that this tiny, angry, ignorant man is the recognized "Conscience of a Liberal" tell you all you need to know about the emptyness and bankruptcy of the modern liberal mindset.

If anything, we should thank the Krug for reminding us of the kind of people we stand up against.
