It Begins: 'Gadhafi's Fall Would Be Win for Obama, NATO'

The White House press corps has largely ignored Libya the past six months, but now that it appears Moammar Khadafy is finished, it's time to hail the conquering hero of Libya, Barack Obama.
The fall of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi after a NATO bombing campaign and a six-month civil war would represent a significant foreign policy victory for President Obama.

Despite opposition and heavy criticism from lawmakers in both parties, Obama authorized U.S. forces to back up the NATO mission without seeking authorization from Congress.

Obama also took hits from lawmakers who said the U.S. should never have taken a back-up roll in the mission.

It now appears Obama will preside over the end of Gadhafi’s reign.
These people have no shame.

We don't even know what will happen tonight, let alone tomorrow, next week or next month in Libya.

But it's a "win" for Obama, and that's all that matters.

Umm.....if Hussein Dolt couldn't capitalize on the killing of Osama Bin Laden, why do these 'tards think that Mummar Ghdaffi being deposed is the magic ticket to victory?

It took him six months to complete a "One week" war? This is a victory? This is mush!

I hope they haul in Muammar alive
He will have plenty to say that undermines his old pal BHOnehead

Next up, that "reformer" from Damascus, Dr Assad.
Egypt being taken over by not so liberal anti-semites, Yemen in ruins, the Horn of Africa a potential Irani playground.

Oh yeah, Libya will be a tiny, ill governed, repressive afterthought by this November and a trivia question for political dweebs in Fall 2012.

There is some question for how successful these rebels have actually been in "winning".

If taking Tripoli is just a prelude to the insurrgency being crushed then do the Obamabots recognize and proclaim their messiah to have been a failure?

Of course not.

Saw this coming a mile away. Heck, the libs are probably already making a movie about it so they can create a "double October surprise."

Yeah, it may just end up being a "win" for Obama like the Shah's fall was a "win" for Jimmy Carter.  Or maybe that's Mubarak's fall I'm thinking about, since Egypt definitely seems to be headed down that path.
