Madonna Compares John McCain to Hitler, Likely Rewarded With Super Bowl Gig

Word has it this shriveled tramp will be performing at halftime of the Super Bowl in February.

Funny, but I always thought entertainers likening prominent politicians to Hitler was frowned upon.
Madonna kicked off her Sticky & Sweet Tour in the U.K. Saturday, and stirred up a beehive of controversy by comparing Republican presidential nominee John McCain to Adolf Hitler in a video montage during the show.

During the song "Get Stupid," Madonna flashed images of McCain alongside photos of Hitler and brutal Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, as well as images of destruction and global warming, according to British paper The Times.

By contrast, in the next segment of the performance, she used the image of Democratic nominee Barack Obama alongside pictures of John Lennon, Mahatma Ghandi and Al Gore.

McCain spokesperson Tucker Bounds for was quick to respond to the slam, and pursued the Obama-as-celebrity tack the campaign has employed in recent weeks.

"The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time," he said. "It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits."
Flash forward to today and look what happens if you compare Obama to Hitler.
The Hank Williams Jr. song that has opened Monday Night Football for 20 years was not part of the opening of this week's Indianapolis-Tampa Bay game after Williams made controversial comments about President Barack Obama.

Williams compared Obama to Adolf Hitler on Fox News Channel's "Fox and Friends" show Monday morning.

ESPN, in a statement, said: "While Hank Williams, Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight's telecast."
But EPSN will likely gush and slobber of Madonna, blissfully ignorant of her history.

If the NFL wants to put this shrew on stage (during an election year, mind you), they better have that delay button ready.

Calling people Hitler or even inferring it is a time-honored liberal tradition. Butg when someone on the right goes there then they must suffer.

Oh well - this isn't the first time Madonna has made an asshole out of herself. And she's been using the tired-ass Hitler analogy for quite a while. Like most of her generation, I doubt she could even name or differentiate between the Allies or the Axis during WWII.

And once again she has the nerve to insult Jews, Poles, Slavs, Gays, Gypsys and all the other people victimized by Hitler during WWII with her ridiculous comparison. There's nothing like being a faded pop star, irrelivant AND unoriginal, eh Madonna?

Comparing Bush to Hitler didn't stop Keith Olbermann from having his Sunday night pre game show on NBC. Hypocrites. The NFL is OK with Hitler references, so long as liberals make them.
