The bad news for Americans, this is in Australia.
THE jobless rate has fallen to 5.7 per cent with the number of employed people increasing by an unexpected 31,200 in November, figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics show.

What is it the Aussies know that we don't, or what are they doing that we aren't?
The unemployment rate is expected to peak at 6.2 per cent in 2010, according to the Australian Business Economists' annual forecasting survey.

In looking at the chart you can see how America stacks up against other countries and you will also notice that we are higher then the average of the other Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries.
